Location and keeping the identity of the building
it was my second stay in this hotel ,so they upgraded me in almost twice more expensive room. they were always very helpful and quick with all my requests;on general very nice ,professional people. Definitly going back there
the restaurant was closed.
I liked everything except the late dinning room open hours
Construction sight out front
i love the hotel/location and the staff was excellent.
they never told us that they are under construction. to much noise.
lovely old Parisian hotel.
Will be even better when restoration work is completed.
We liked all of it! Perfect location and very helpful and friendly staff.
Staff were very helpful and it's renovated.
It would be better to have tea/coffee set in the room. The ventillation was out of service at the time, so room temperature was hot. Otherwise, it's excellent all around.
the best staff.
Lovely old Paris hotel, perfectly situated near the Louvre, with historical charm. Room cozy and comfortable.
Wifi bit inconsistent.
Interiors, co-operated staff. Very close to louvre museum, garden & metro station. Some cafes & restaurants near the hotel. Quite area at night.
I asked via reservation for a great view. But my room was on the 1st floor. The reception told me its a quite & remodeled room. Expensive breakfast.
Hotel is centrally located, so it was easy to walk pretty much anywhere in central Paris. The staff was very friendly and accomodating...we forgot toothpast and there was no conditioner int he bathroom, but we asked and both were delivered without any additional charges. The hotel is going through renovations, and we got a recently renovated room. It was simple, stylish and clean.
The concierge was helpful (we got advance tickets to the Louvre) but wasn't informed about activites (festivals, etc..). Make sure you check online or with tourism office (close to the hotel) if you want local happenings and where to go. Free WiFi was rubbish... ended up not using it at all it was just so slow. You need to pay for the good WiFi.
The accommodations at the Hotel Regina are superb...add to that a most congenial and helpful staff, a quaint and cozy bar, very centrally located, an easy walk to many of Paris' main sites.
I'm struggling to come up with something negative; so I'll leave it at that.
Location is fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere and never used the metro. Even few times we took taxi and it was very reasonably priced thanks to the location. Reception and concierge staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommending it
Location and very spacious room.
The hotel was under renovation so that was a bit annoying in terms of sound and facilities. We arrived very early and we couldn't get an early check-in. Had to wait till 3pm which is somehow tiresome after a long flight.
The location is fab, right across the road from the louvre and lots of really good access to tours and taxis
The rooms are very small and the beds are ridiculously uncomfortable
The Staff were excellent very helpful the only critisisim is the cost of Breakfast , which we never had.
Loved the quaint, charming features--especially the hotel entrance, lobby, staircase and hallways. The rooms are nicely sized as well. The furniture and details remind me of a long-ago era--which was exactly what we were looking for!
I found that the hotel staff was not as friendly as they could have been. Most are not French, but they come from different countries in Europe. They all spoke English well; however, a smile can go a long, long way! The bartenders were fantastic! Friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. They also helped log onto the internet--which was impossible to get in our room and difficult in the lobby! I tried not to work as much, so that helped.
- the location - the staff was professional and friendly - free wifi - rooms are renovated except mutual areas
- a bit expensive
Location Staff Amazing beds Beautiful foyer Renovated rooms Very French and uncorporate feel
Location, staff is very helpful
Very old, AC doesn't work well and it is very loud, poor breakfast
Location is great. Lots of restaurants and small shops nearby. The hotel is clean although its a old hotel with classic style. The room is small but still reasonable size.
Nothing in particular.
Tea and coffee in the room would be nice
This was a lovely old world charm hotel. It was very clean, staff were most helpful and the food was very nice in the courtyard restaurant. Very conveniently located.
The room was very small considering the price paid. I just feel that things have become a bit outdated. The bathroom was smaller than small. I don't mean to be rude. Would I stay here again? No. This is the second time we have stayed here in 10 years because of location and cleanliness only.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was nicely appointed. Even my well priced room had an interesting roof top view.
The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived at the door. The doorman, receptionist, concierge and bar staff were extremely professional and welcoming. Even though we were only in the hotel for one night, they facilitated us with a slightly later check out and also stored luggage. They made us feel like we were regular customers. They made it feel more five star than some five star hotels
No tissues, shower cap etc in the bathroom. This could have been an oversight but it was poorly stocked and was a bit of a let down given the well appointed and luxury of the bedroom
