Regyn's Montmartre  

I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel was located in a lovely area. The staff were very friendly. It was a nice hotel. I would stay in this hotel on a future visit to Paris. It was well located, in a more quiet area, and yet just beside access to the metro and bus. A perfect location. The breakfast was fair.

A little expensive, but then in Paris hotels tend to be more expensive, so a reasonable price. While the room was a good size for a single, and looked out onto a lovely street view, the sound-proofing from the room next door was poor.

The location was excellent, 30 secs from metro, close to food and Sacre Cour. We have stayed in this location previously and it is full of life and is well accessible. The hotel is another small affair that has seen its fair share of wear and tear. No pests or rodents, linen was clean.

Price for what was offered. Our room had a cracked toilet and the double bed had 1 single blanket width ways over 2 mattresses. 2 top covers to cover the bed. No refrigerator, no tea and coffee making. Very basic place to crash. I think one of the hotel chains will be my next option.

Fabulous location and a great tip to ask for a view of the Tower. That was very special, Metro at the door step made planning very easy. Kitchen staff were very helpful and loved a laugh.

The bed was very hard.

The room was exception, great for a couple. Free wifi was nice. Montmartre is the best part of Paris and the hotels location is amazing.

Walls were a little thin and could hear next door but not a major problem.

Television (like most in Paris) was only French tv Bath wasn't big enough for anyone (my girlfriend is 5'3" and she couldn't fit in it)

Privilege room gets you to the 5th floor of the hotel with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the sunset. The hotel is on a nice quiet square next to a church and there is next to no noise. The room was pretty big and there was a modern elevator which was handy. It's literally right next to the Abbesses Metro station so it was so simple to get around Paris. Staff were friendly. Didn't go for the breakfast as there was a patisserie just around the corner. We had a later flight so were able to leave our bags at the reception all day.

Everything was perfect for our 4 night stay.

The location was very special, and the top floor room had a wonderful view over Paris. The room was quite small but the bed was very comfortable and suited our needs.

Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice.

I love the surroundings and the atmosphere of a small, unpretentious hotel.

Location, great view from 4th floor of Eiffel tower, very "French" room decoration. 24H reception.

Noice from neighbours (not much, but could have been bad as rooms are poorly sound proofed), no iron or kettle in room.

Staff were very helpful. Location could not be better. Loved it.

Have stayed in this hotel before, its in a very good location with lots of nice restaurants and shops nearby. The area feels safe and friendly.

The bathroom, easily "flooded".. During the bath, I am literally in a mini pond, my feet soaking in water that won't go down the drain.. After the bath, the floor is very very wet. The rug on the floor is basically soaking in water! :( next morning, it's still very wet...

The Hotel is located at Place des Abesses, a few steps away from the Metro and close to Sacre Coeur. A really perfect location! The room was Paris-like, quite small but clean! The staff was helpful and nice!

The bathroom was clean but very old. The shower looked like it has been used for decades - it was scattered with brown dots and the gaps looked ugly. Not very inviting.

This hotel is right on la Place des Abbesses and there is a metro entrance with the original Art Nouveau metalwork right in front of the hotel. This area is so quiet and the neighborhood is lovely. I was very pleased with my room and I loved the fabric-covered walls! It was small, but that's to be expected in European hotels. The women who served the breakfast were delightful, and the breakfast was adequate. There was no fresh fruit like I had found at other hotels in the south of France, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast room was small but cosy. There were those wonderful croissants that all hotels have in France. All in all, I loved my stay there.

I didn't like having to hand over my room card (used to get into your room) every time I left the hotel. I would have preferred just keeping it myself. When I asked the guy at the desk why they did that, he said it was to know who was in the hotel and who was outside. The tiny elevator is an ordeal to use if you have a suitcase with you and it doesn't take you directly to your floor. It takes you to a point where you still have to go up half a flight of stairs, which are very narrow. They shower stall door had obviously been broken at some point in time, so they put up a shower curtain instead of replacing the glass door. I found that really tacky. The sink and toilet were very nice.

Hotel is located in excellent place - entrance to underground is right in front of the hotel. Neighbourhood is great. Room is clean and nice. Service is nice and helpful. Worth going if you are looking for comfortable place with reasonable price.

Furnitures (wardrobe) was a bit damaged. This was a minor issue and overall impression was great.

Friendly Staff, near Gare du Nord to travel out to exhibition centre (return ticket just €8) - relaxing atmosphere in neighbourhood with some casual + upmarket restaurants. Rooms are small but normal size for Paris hotels. Room nice and clean as was bathroom (towels nice and fresh).

The location is perfect, right in front of Abbesses Metro station, and in a very quaint yet lively neighborhood! Our room on the top floor had an amazing view of Paris and the Tour Eiffel!

Although we had a nice room with a view, the bathroom really needed updating, but it was ok :)

The staff and location were both excellent. Adjacent to a Metro stop made the city easily accessible.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - lots of cafes and shopping plus it was right at the tube stop. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Maybe the best thing was the view of the Eiffel Tower from our window.

Can't think of anything not to like.

The hotel is ideally located for Montmartre. It's not for those who want large rooms and bathrooms, but in Montmartre you shouldn't be sitting in the hotel anyway! Its right next to Abbesses Métro station and the Place d'Abbesses is a delight. Go for the prestige rooms on the 4th floor and upwards and you'll have a view of the Eiffel Tower or the Sacré Coeur. The concierge changes through the day, but all were pleasant and very helpful.

The quirky toilet that only leaked when you sat on it. Very Montmartre!

Hotel Staff very friendly I read a critique that the Hotels Breakfast was not value for money. We had orange juice, tea, coffee, toast, ham, cheese, butter, jam, cereals - in fact too much, and €8 was a reasonable Paris charge for all this.

Wc seat loose wc cracked Bath enamel chipped in multiple places Washbasin 2 cracks No thermostat on shower to control water temp - dangerous ! Towel rack rusty Bottom of bathroom door rotting away - water damage Bedroom decoration needed overhaul, trim hanging off. Bedhead panel crap, radio didn't work Paris hotels should spend some money on revamping the decoration and then it would be a reasonable hotel, but still more expensive than a comparable standard Ibis. No English Lang TV channel

The views of eiffel tower make up for slight drabness of interior.

The shower fitting not working as it was mismatched therefore couldn't fix shower to wall and had to hold it. Also chips on enamel in bath looked like dead insects-a bit off putting. The place needs a facelift but is clean with friendly staff and a fabulous location.
