Location Restaurant

The shower in the room wetted the whole of the bathroom floor. The wardrobe full of bedding so no room for clothes. Water in the basin not hot enough.

Great staff that are always willing to help you with any request and very friendly and welcoming. Right in the centre of Bayuex and a great base for our trip with Overlord Tours as the pick up point is just behind the hotel.

The hotel is right by the cathedral. We asked for a room with the view on it, and they assigned it to us. The staff was very nice and helpful. Bayeaux is a very nice walkable medieval town, so this hotel is in a perfect central position.

The breakfast was not included and the price was expensive, considering what it was offered. Also, the cappuccino was charged in addition to the breakfast at 4.50 euros.

The hotel was spotless. The staff very friendly. The room itself was luxurious with great towels, shower, comfortable mattresses. The location was amazing. Free parking 4 blocks away.

The breakfast was excellent but I only like tea or coffee in the morning and there was no option for just coffee nor a pot in the room, so ended up paying 8.5 euro for tea. However, the room was so reasonable I really didn't mind. All in all excellent value for room with breakfast.

The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just yards away from the magnificent cathedral. The location was central to town, and parking was really convenient. The hotel is small, and I guess that's why it's only a 2 star hotel - though it feels more like a 3. Rooms - very comfortable and perfectly formed.

The staff is excellent here, always willing to help and always checking how you are doing. A nice breakfast buffet of cereal, breads, coffee, tea and yogurt to get started. Very close to the cathedral and tapestry.

Wasn't the most comfortable bed, but I'm 6'4 so not many are...

Wi-fi was like a night mare. There is one present, but it keeps disconnecting all the time after just couple of seconds, no matter which device do you use. Forget about running your business back home.

Convenient location. Very helpful staff. Good spot to stay and see the various Normandie historical attractions. Easy day trips to the D-Day beaches, Mont-Saint Michel, Ste-Mere Eglise and may more. Bayeux itself has much to offer - cathedral, tapestry, quaint shopping, good food. Wonderful stay here!

We stayed in the new rooms on the edge of the river, very excellent accommodation though it is a rain soaked walk back to the old hotel for breakfast etc. Nice dining room with good menu at sensible prices.

Small breakfast room with very limited choice of breakfast for a room of this price. Slightly worrying that the 'daily specials' in the dining room were the same for both nights of our stay. Dinner was otherwise excellent and reasonably priced.

We were worried that once outside of Paris, English speakers would be scarce in the hotel industry. The staff was able to communicate perfectly in their non-native language.

Very minor: include a hair dryer in the room; I also found it unusual a power socket was located near the ceiling (in room 6) vs. The normal eye or ground level in other hotels -- this made charging my iPad a challenge. But again, not a show-stopper by any means.

We had a great stay as we had four couples who all stayed in separate rooms. The rooms were very clean, especially for the price. The staff went above and beyond for us as they were very accommodating to English speakers and also kept the bar open beyond hours so we could have a drink before bed.

Rooms are small (although for the price we paid they were plenty) and we had a little trouble finding a restaurant to eat at.

Excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff. comfortable quiet room in a lovely part of a beautiful town. A few minutes walk from both the cathedral and the Bayeux Tapestry.

Every thing was excellent, room, staff, Restaurant, location, and the price. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff! The only slight drawback was lack of parking except by paying Bayeux council car parks 2euro for 2 hrs max between 9.00 to 19.00 hrs with 12.00 to 14.00 free at all adjacent parking places. there is a 4 hr parking about 200m behind hotel and free parking about 500m down Rue Larcher. A superb little hotel restaurant right in the centre of things - 100m to Tapestry, cathedral and main street, what a fantastic "find"

Nothing to dislike other than very minor niggle about parking
