Hôtel Magdalena    

The people that run this hotel are fantastic. They made me feel more than welcome, and that was everyone from the people that kept the rooms upto the couple that managed the hotel. The food was first class, and introduced you to tastes that are making my mouth water as I write.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

My room was comfortable with a decent shower, and breakfast was satisfactory and quite good value for money.

NO restaurant, despite the title of the hotel. Only one restaurant within reasonable walking distance.

It's lucky that two of my party were very friendly. We were three males staying one night before the superbikes in Magny-Cours, but one double and one single bed was in the room.

No coffee or tea making appliances in the room

The room nicely decorated with pictures and being very spacious for its price, boxspring beds, flat TV in room, separate big room for having breakfast,

lack of good wardrobe: only three planches and about 20 cm that could effectively be used for hanging clothes. And not a single drawer in the room to put away small things. If I had to stay longer and/or with someone else, this would definitely be a disturbance.

An excellent hotel for our purpose of a stopover travelling from north to south. Very comfortable and an excellent buffet with good choices..Its about 330 miles from Calais so is ideal for a stopover. Very good for autoroute access.

Its well out of the Nevers centre about 30-40 minute walk to the centre; you could of course take a car.

Location was good;

Very Hot in the room, with no relief; some fans would be good, as we couldn't open the windows with the boys around; needed to keep the room dark too. The room was functional but in need of redecoration! The shower was lacking pressure, probably because we were on the top floor.

The rooms are really spacious - almost like a small flat. Breakfast was delicious and plenty, with homemade jam and local products. The hotel looks a bit old-fashioned but very comfortable and clean. A hotel we would recommend for a short stay.

They offered some products that were organic.

Hotel was ok for overnight stop, clean and tidy.

You needed a degree in "shower" operations to get any joy from what I am sure is a wonderful experience once you can get it to work.Instructions in French only.

Very reasonably priced, spacious and in a quiet location. Rooms were very clean. Plenty of safe parking.

Bit far away from Nevers, but a convenient jumping off point to Sancerre

le balcon qui permet de prendre l'air le soir avec une vue très agréable.

Le prix qui est passé de 59€ a 70€ car un événement important, se passer dans les environs. Donc avant de vous rendre dans cette hôtel, voyez si il n'y a pas de grande manifestation dans les environs.

Petit déjeuner bio varié et très frais mais le prix est un peu usurpé. Chambres spacieuses.

Hôtel vieillot. Vert de gris sur robinetterie de la salle de bain, pas très encourageant !

rapport qualité prix sympa équipements: effort de rafraichissement de la déco du lit et douche à saluer. petit dej correct proche auto route (sans le bruit)
