Libertel Canal Saint Martin is located in northern Paris, near Canal Saint-Martin and Park des Buttes Chaumont, only 2 Metro stations from Gare du Nord and Gare de lEst.
Score from 744 reviews Good
Very good balance price/ quality! Close to the movida of canal Saint-Martin and to a nice jogging. It would definetely become my place to stay in Paris. Clean, staff professional and friendly, rooms are big considering Paris standard.
price location cleanliness
small room but its very normal for the hotel in Paris
Comfortable and clean hotel close to the metro. Just what we were looking for after a long walking journey in the city.
The shower was a little bit small and the curtain tend to come towards the body while showering which wasn't very nice.
The location was good, its very near to a metro station. Clean rooms. Fast wifi. I dont know about the food i never ate there. The neighbourhood is good everything ia around; there's supermarkets and restaurants. And there's this amazing garden called parc des buttes chaumont which is very near
The room was very small
The staff was very friendly. We checked in at 2am. We had called the hotel to inform them that we are late and the guy at the reception was very friendly. He even told us on phone that the metro goes till 2am incase we using the metro.
I Booked the hotel for 2 nights because it had a fair price. The photo of the 3 bedded room looked nice too. To my surprise, the room was tiny and had dirty walls. The bathroom filthy, mold, with some old towels, which had changed their color from white to cream. The double bed had a sheet with stains, the pillows too. I wonder if they change them for new guests. My friend who slept on the single bed complained that something bit him while sleeping, I guess bedbugs. But I didn't want to think about that. I just wanted the 2 nights to be over and check out. We didn't take breakfast, which they usually serve in a tiny area close to the reception. We had to order it a day before because they didn't have it as a Buffett, for extra 8€ Per person.
Position perfect for me. Great neighbourhood Friendly service Clean
Very friendly staff, clean and quiet room, pleasant stay, will reccomend to anyone.
the area is great
the bathroom was poor (broken - missing tiles). the bed looks from the 80's. the walls are so thin you can hear all
Very friendly staff, Fab location!
Quiet, pleasant location, close to Metro, short bus ride to Gare du Nord. Friendly staff.
Lack of many restaurants around. Wifi inconvenient.
Nice hotel with helpful staff. Very close to Metro station in a nice area.
Rather small rooms.
The staff were friendly & wi fi good.
It was too warm in the hotel & you could hear every noise on the street & in the hotel....very thin walls. The area itself was quite run down...but so was Paris in general..will never be back in this city!
Facilities were absolutely fine. Everything was clean anx we had all thr essentials including extra pillow. Room was alwats warm and shower power qas lovely. Compact but that's what you expect in Europe and the hotel wasn't expensive. The most wonderful part of this hotel has to be the staff. I was 6/7 months pregnant and they took time to chat and advise us on how to get around with the least walking. A real pleasure to have such friendly hosts. Location is fine- bolivar station is literally 10 yards away but jares station has far mote connections. It'd perhaps 300 yards. It I could make it easily to that one... anyone can. Highly recommend this hotel if on a budget!
Excellent location close to metro stop but away from "touristy" areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
You'll need a sense of humor to deal with the bathrooms.
Great location. Very close to train station.
Room was too small
Location Price reasonable Allowed Bikes.. at a cost Free WiFi Friendly and very helpful Staff Clean
No safety locks on windows even on ground floor overlooking street.. very unsafe
Staff were friendly and helpful. easy access to Metro
Had a mouse in our room and room above let a tap drip all night so two nights not good sleep
Location Neighbourhood Price Plenty of shops/restaurants and bars.
Although staff were nice enough only one actually spoke any sort of English so asking information proved difficult. Paris as a whole isn't very English speaking we found though. No tea/coffee facilities.
unable to connect to wifi despite being advertised as possessing it. When I asked the staff about the issue, there was no explanation.
Good location. Bolivar underground station is really close but we used the Jaurés station which is 3-4 minutes walk only and has better connections. From Bolivar to Jaurés there is a supermarket, a lot of bakery and a good greengrocer and so on.
No working Wifi, there is something what you can see but can not use. Not every member of the staff speaks English but they are friendly and helpful.
Pleasant staff. great price next to metro and useful shops
Wifi did not work in the rooms. My room was up a steep stair case that was outside. no ketal or fridge
Not far from the metro
Smelly, old wifi, old man at reception spoke on the phone loudly all evening
Comfortable bed,had a single room,felt very safe.
Room at front of hotel, heard a lot of traffic, horns beeping etc.
Location, friendly staff
Slow wifi, small rooms but ok if you spend your day in the city anyway
