The Relais is in an excellent location just outside of Sarlat. While difficult to find the first time, it is on lovely grounds and is eccentrically, though charmingly, decorated. Patrick and Veronique were the staff members who were exceptionally nice to us. Patrick gave us excellent recs for restaurants. The hotel is well-located for exploring the area, quiet, with a very good breakfast. Ample parking. I would recommend the high-end rooms as the regular ones are somewhat small, though practical. The superior rooms were large and lovely. The directions to the hotel need to be clarified. If you are coming in from Gourdon, at the round-about that allows you to go to Sarlat or Bergerac, head left towards Bergerac and the Dordogne Valley. A Casino Grocery store(big!) is on the near left corner of the roundabout. After you head that way, a Citroen dealer is on the left and immediately following is a small road to the left. If you find that, you're in good shape.

Patrick, the concierge/manager, was willing to arrange a special dinner for us to celebrate our anniversary, even though the hotel ordinarily doesn't offer restaurant service. The dinner was wonderful, and the special attention by the chef and his partner were memorable. We couldn't have been more pleased.

The hotel and the grounds are beautiful! Lovely pool, clean comfy rooms and lovely decor. Breakfast was excellent and when we were able to eat dinner at the hotel, it was fantastic! The staff were very helpful in terms of recommending places to visit and giving directions. Sarlat is very beautiful - we loved it! It is a very good place to get around the region but you really do need a car. The hotel was extremely quiet whilst we were there and so there was a lack of atmosphere. The bar closed at 10pm which we thought was a little early. The hotel is situated a little out of Sarlat - about a 30 minute walk and we found it almost impossible to get a taxi. If you both want a drink with dinner you have no choice but to walk and it is very dark walking back - take a torch!

Veronique and Monique were absolutely gorgeous, they could not have been kinder to our daughter and helped us out alot. A very pleasant place to stay. We would have stayed a week if time permitted.

Located in a built up area but positioned as if in the country. Room was clean and comfortable as were the shared areas of the hotel. No evening meals meant driving to a restaurant.

Tout a été très agréable dans cet hôtel : la situation dans un parc magnifique, à proximité de Sarlat, la chambre confortable au décor moderne et récent, le petit-déjeuner-buffet copieux, et surtout l' accueil très aimable avec un personnel "aux petits soins". Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de cet établissement et de sa patronne, Dominique ! a recommander !

Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour, au calme. Cela nous a permis de nous ressourcer et de profiter d'un joli cadre. Le parc est magnifique avec le lac, les cannards et le cygne. Trés belle décoration, chambre confortable et spacieuse, la SdB possède douche et bain. Trés bon petit déjeuner et copieux. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel. Cet etablissement est tout proche de Sarlat ce qui permet de pouvoir se restaurer sans trop de problème. Voir peut être la possibilité d'une petite restauration sur place

Estuvimos una noche. El hotel está correcto en cuanto a relación calidad- precio para Francia. Hay que estar atento a las señales para acceder al mismo. El desayuno quizá un poco justo para ser un buffet.

Sólo pasamos una noche en este Relais. Nuestra experiencia fue muy positiva. La habitación amplia, práctica con una bonita terraza al jardín.Muy cerca de Sarlat donde fuimos a pasar la tarde y cenar. Está ubicado en plena naturaleza y rodeado de un amplio parque y un lago. Es un pequeño problema que no den cenas pues hay que desplazarse fuera del hotel para tomar algo de comer

Nos ha gustado absolutamente todo, desde la amabilidad del personal hasta las instalaciones, y desde luego el edificio es precioso y muy bien cuidado. Por decir algo, el acceso podría estar mejor señalizado, coincidimos con otras opiniones en que es dificil de encontrar.
