The Chateau is very beautiful with very nice view of it's own vineyard. The owners are very nice and services are also excellent. We had an unforgettable dinner there. The room is also clean and comfortable. We plan to stay there again next year.

Rooms spacious, hosts attentive but we felt like it was our house. Beautiful setting. Great food and wine.

Wonderful staff, wonderful wine (grown on the property), and the best duck I have ever had! I highly recommend, and it can be particularly nice for gourmands with children, as the food is lovely, the view is delightful, and there is a playground and plenty of room for children to exercise, as well as room to run or stroll about. Even a small pond with an island! Be sure to have dinner with wine!

The carpet could be replaced.

Beds are too soft, at least for my back.

It felt like being in someone's home- so relaxed and welcoming. Dinner was great and breakfast wonderful. A real joy for a business trip.

cord on the showerhead could be longer in the tub (room 3). and a plug in the bathroom for the hairdryer. nothing major!

Spacious room, comfortable beds. The staff was really friendy and English-speaking. The dinner they served was delicious. Could highly recommend.

Everything, they are really friendly and help in everything that they can, I strongly recommend it, and deffinetely I will be comming back.

Very good meal with wine carrying the chateau name. Warm welcome but directions to find it were misleading & needed local gendarmerie to guide us. Maybe this is fault of Booking .com rather than the hotel.

Our favorite chateau and wonderful hostess. Absolutely fabulous chateau nestled in a major vineyard. Perfect location and a huge breakfast. As close to perfection as a hotel can get.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful large bedrooms and bathrooms, well equipped. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice.

The chateau and grounds were very beautiful. The owner was a delightful hostess and the meals cooked by her husband were delicious

There wasn't anything that we didn't like .

The owners/managers are just lovely, and work hard to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and if you choose the table d'hôtel for dinner the 3 courses with wine are fresh and hearty and excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed, especially the bathroom. The house is well looked after and comfortable and saying on a working vineyard was a real pleasure.

Chateau Julie rates a 10! The quiet country location is perfect, the rooms are gorgeous, the owners are SO friendly and helpful, and the food is gourmet--we ended up eating there every evening. It was a perfect end to our French vacation. We didn't want to leave!

We were welcomed in a very friendly mannerby the English speaking Dutch owner; it was like arriving at a family or close friends home, absolutely fabuluous. We relaxed with a glass of the chateau wine and chilled out after our 6 hour drive from Le Mans. The building has been very tastefully renovated in traditional style with high quality original finishings. The bedrooms are big and bathrooms very well laid out with all the encessary accessories were available. The Wi Fi connection was effecient and fast..........great! We are vegetarians and the food presented was excellent; it was nice to sit around the big dining table and chat to other guests over a meal and good wine. We had a very pleasant stop over and will book this hotel again.

The location was excellent for touring the Bordeaux region & it was very easy to find. The hosts spoke good English and were most helpful in suggesting & booking tours and local restaurants. The breakfast was plentiful and featured local produce, as did the dinner they served at night, which consisted of 3 courses and Chateau Julie wine. The rooms were large and very clean.

There were no power points in the bathroom.

A one night stay whilst travelling from Spain to Cherbourg the chateau was easily found approximately 5 minutes drive from the n10. A beautiful looking building in open countryside with extensive gardens and grounds. A very warm welcome when we knocked on the door was followed by the offer of tea and coffee (indoors or out); gratefully accepted after a long and hot drive. A very large and comfortable bedroom, very clean and large fluffy towels in the bathroom. Super views from the windows over the expanse of countryside. Very relaxing. We had dinner at the chateau - no choice of menu, just whatever was being cooked that night and it was excellent. The breakfast was extensive and superb. There is a downstairs and upstairs lounge with coffee and tea available. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for her. We will be back.

Tennis court needs attention (if you want to play tennis).

Renee and Rinse are excellent hosts at this very attractive chateau. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with good beds The dinners were outstanding - some of the best food i have had in France! The Chateau Julie wine, served with dinner is excellent and very good value
