Parking next to room
It's very convenient for stopping for the first night in France when arriving at Le Havre
The hotel had ground floor rooms and was dog friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Where to start. The hotel looked lovely from the photos but is located right next to a busy road and roundabout. The hotel grounds are a car park only. The rooms were small but ok - the decor however, I'm not a fan of glittery paint. There was some language difficulty as the hosts did not speak English and my French is a bit rusty - but we got by. Unfortunately I did not read the small print which states that dinner must be booked in advance. The restaurant was closed as they did not have any advance bookings. All in all, a bit expensive for a roadside hotel.
great food good service very friendly
Proximity to Pont de Normandie and Le Havre. Good for overnight stay before ferry the next day from Le Havre. 5 minutes from Honfleur for restaurants. Very comfortable night's sleep.
Not much. But around Euros 10 each for breakfast adds up for a family of four, although it seems par for the course these days. We drove into Honfleur in the morning and got some croissants from a boulangerie and had a breakfast by the beautiful harbour for a fraction of that cost.
I liked the relaxed, friendly nature within the park. The staff were helpful and polite whenever I had to speak with them.
Due to isolation of site, I was limited to the on site restaurant, bar and market unless I was prepared to drive (not drink). I didn't feel that those on site facilities offered the scale, variety or value that I would have appreciated - the takeaway outlet was extremely slow, 50 minutes for 2 pizzas!
bar and restaurant area
Tom tom sent us miles away from it mattress much too soft in bed no restaurant no wifi in our bedroom
Good family accommodation with close parking. Lovely bar & friendly staff to greet us on our late arrival. Able to visit some beautiful places Honfleur, Deauville etc by car.
We were not able to walk anywhere closeby with children (no pavements).
spacious & comfortable room, good location and very easy to find, Lovely breakfast and welcoming owners.
no tea/coffee making facilities in our room
Very comfortable bed and nicely decorated rooms. Very clean throughout. Parking right outside the room. Breakfast good. Staff very pleasant, not English speaking but we practised our French instead! A couple of minutes drive from Honfleur which is lovely and worth a visit.
Our satnav couldn't locate the address initially from what was listed on the confirmation but after a bit of driving around we found the hotel.
Not far from Le Havre and Honfleur. Nicely decorated, recently refurbed room. Good bathroom particularly the hi-tech shower. Good breakfast. Good value restaurant a few minutes away.
The restaurant was closed (this is a hotel/restaurant); we should have been told about this when we booked! The room did not contain a wardrobe or hanging space.
The owner was rude to my family and if I could have would have refused to pay because of their attitude. T would never stay here again. I would rather sleep in a tent that give these people more money. Stair for a 84 year old lady when you book ground floor is not good. Only when you book in do they tell you there is no ground floor for 4 people. A bit late when they have you money. Not a happy traveler.
Very welcoming and friendly.
The accommodation was comfortable and well decorated, and this is a beautiful old building that has been very well restored. Individual access to rooms is convenient and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly.
The lack of air conditioning meant that we had to leave the window open at night, and we therefore got some noise from the traffic and also got bitten by mosquitoes which found their way in. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities was a nuisance, as we could only purchase such drinks from the bar when it was open.
Well placed next to motorway, near Honfleur and had character (compared to chain). Rooms have separate entrance to outside which is nice.
Bit noisy during day/early morning (traffic). Need to put a black-out blind on the door for those used to shutters.
A new venue for the relatively new owners. The owners spoke no english but were very patient with my limited french. Food was a fixed menu but well cooked and fulfilling.
- friendly couple that run the hotel. - breakfast was excellent. - further an old building with simple rooms, but all needed was there. .
- Restaurant was closed for the one day that we were there, but staff helped us with reservation at nearby restaurant. - wifi did not work in the room
The room was lovely and the setting was good
The restaurant was closed so had to go 1k to a cafe for evening meal. On return everything locked up so no beverages of any kind. Not even a kettle in the room. Just had access to our room. Would not reccommend.
Rural location. By car it's a straight forward 5 minute drive into Honfleur. Clean and comfortable beds, reasonable size room and nice, very clean shower. Restaurant looked pleasant but we didn't use it so can't comment on food.
On quite a busy main road/roundabout, would be noisy if you need to have the windows open. Room very basic with no wardrobe, drawers or comfortable chair, just one hanging rail - but fine for a stopover. Felt 85 Euros without breakfast was expensive but haven't stayed anywhere else in this area to compare it's value. No wi-fi in the bedrooms.
Very traditional French Auberge. Very comfortable room and the proprietor was very helpful and friendly.
Slightly noisy with early morning traffic
Friendly welcome, very clean room. Good breakfast.
A damp feeling in the room, and not enough light. A shame the restaurant was closed, but recommendation for L'eau Vive was good.
Liked the quiet location and how easy it was to get to Honfleur. Very appreciative that the Owners waited for us to arrive at 10:30pm, we had got very lost on our trip through from Calais
Very clean, nice rooms, great breakfast!!
Room was clean, pleasant. A rural location, quiet and restful. Beautiful countryside.
Second time of staying, comfortable and good value. Restaurant unfortunately closed, but excellent Asiatic restaurant with Korean barbecue very close. Superb breakfast
