This hotel is a wonderful experience. The hotel is just outside of Colmar in a small town that is perfectly situated for trips to the wine route, Strasbourg and Germany Rhine villages (which are wonderful). The hotel has extraordinary dining and hospitality. The rooms and beds are comfortable, clean and well maintained with lovely windows opening up to a quiet relaxing countryside. There is a wonderful garden in the back which you can spend hours in relaxing or take a bicycle and tour the ocuntryside. The owner and his staff are charming and most helpful. The food is amongst the best I have had on this trip. There is no elevator so you must walk up to your room which is only one or two floors. This was not an issue as it is a short trip but if you cannot do stairs than avoid the hotel.

The hotel was easy to find, the staff was welcoming and the room was plenty large for our family. The breakfast could have been more extensive for 8 e, especially since the hotel has a restaurant.

Very nice hotel,helpfull and very kind staff',especially christof who did everything to assist to guests requests and he did it always with a smile and good will. Good and satisfied brakfast,good and quiet location,nearby supermarket and gas station . in generally:very good value for money.higly recommended. Helpfull and kind staff.good location.good breakfast.cleanliness.free and available car parking.

The hotel is easy to find in an attractive small village. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are small, but nicely furnished and well maintained. The flat-screen tv had a wide selection of French and German channels (but none in English). The hotel is worth a visit just for the food - the menu is limited, but the quality and presentation of the meals is 5* ! And at 26 euro for the set menu, what a bargain. A typical main course costs around 17 - 25 euros. The hotel offers parking, but the parking area is somewhat restricted, and can call for care when manoevering to protect your insurance discount!

The food and ambience was excellent. The location was very good, being away from the main town of Colmar but close enough to enable easy access. Although we were given 2 twin and 1 double bed rooms, the double was allocated to my 82 year old father in law on the first floor whilst my wife and I were allocated a twin room. The needs of the customers and allocation of suitable rooms should be addressed before arrival

The restaurant food! This was excellent and worth our stay. The room was very small and basic, but that did not matter so much to us since we were gone all day exploring the area. We had a very comfy bed and slept well every night. The lack of air conditioning was hard the first night since it was so hot and we needed the windows open. From our ground floor room the noise was a lot from the outside as noisy guests left the parking lot for the evening.

The hotel is in an lovely countryside setting, perfect for exploring the Alsace region. The hotel is very quaint with nice decor and a fabulous restaurant. Breakfast was good. The bed (room 222) was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. We requested a double room and got 2 twin beds pushed together. The mattress was very hard. If we had been booked for more than one night we would have requested to change rooms. (Hoping that the beds in the other rooms were better!) I would recommend the hotel to other but would caution re the bed!

Easy to find. Staff was English speaking and friendly. Room had an off smell even with the window open. Something like bug spray. The location for touring the wine region was not ideal. We left after one night for both of these reasons and found much nicer and similarly priced hotels along the wine route a few kilometers away.

Very nice small scale hotel, charming owner who made us feel very welcome and had a fantastic restaurant. Nice room, very clean and quiet. Large garden was great for the kids letting off steam. The room was rather hot could have done with air conditioning.

Nice environement, very nice garden, very friendly. Easy to arrive when visiting Colmar. Fantastic breakfast! The shower courtain could be a little longer. Water is going out of the shower. Nothing terrible but easy to fix.
