Relais Saint Jacques  

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was of a reasonable size considering French standards, location was good although Luxemburg rer station is not the cleanest and safest of all stations (beware of gipsies!), the Latin Quarter added a lovely and noisy youth touch to the experience and the Seine was a few blocks away. On my wife's birthday the stuff gave us a champagne bottle as a present and that put a smile on our face after an episode with a gipsie where we were robbed 60 euros the day after we arrived to Paris..

If you come from the non-french world bring your power adapter. We needed one and the hotel apparently had all stock lent to passangers so they referred us to a small shop nearby where we bought one, that costed us 9 euros and didn't work. The following day, when we told the stuff about that wrong purchase they promptly gave us one from a cluttered bag from a store room (?) and the shop didn't dive us a refund. The hotel should have had enough stock in the first place so we could have endded up being 9 euros richer.

The rooms were greeat! Big - coffee and tea making facilities - big bathroom - with bathtub and shower - complimentary shampoo etc was great! Lovely view from my 2nd floor room.

Very helpful staff. Small but intimate venue close to great restaurants.

The Relais St Jacques is well located, next to the rer and city buses (#38, 82, 27 & 21) so you can explore all the city. In addition the street Rue l'Abbe de l'Epee has big trees and is a very quiet street.

The staff was most accomodating and friendly. They had an excellent knowledge of the city. The hotel was small and intimate. The location was perfect for exploring Paris. The breakfast buffet and morning service were a wonderful way to start the day - delicious food and attentive staff!

Small lobbly filled with people checking in or out of the hotel which made it difficult to sit and relax when not in your room.

A lovely small hotel in a quiet street. Rooms with a view. Great location, close to the RER station. We really enjoyed it.

Posizione tranquilla ma comoda

Hotel molto grazioso, arredato con gusto, grande confort, ben posizionato e con un valido rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Qualche sfasatura nel servizio da parte del personale, che peraltro era assai gentile

Muy bien situado, en el barrio de la Sorbona con muchos sitios y locales interesantes y a poca distancia de Notre Dame. Esta en una calle tranquila. Es un edificio bonito, las habitaciones y baño son amplios para lo habitual en París, están decoradas con buen gusto y en buen estado, muy cómodas.
