wifi did not work in our room, 6th floor, top of the hotel. we used the wifi in the salon near the reception. ok, but not ideal
staff room facilities comfort
I was recommended a restaurant close by- Au Port Du Salut, which was horrible. Beware.
Location was good, lovely area and building bee pretty.
This isn't a particularly bad hotel, but is ridiculously overpriced and is not a four star hotel. The ac didn't work , we were informed the 24 hour room service was all frozen , past 7pm only one staff so have to go to reception if need anything. Didn't get refills of toiletries. And staff not helpful and actually rude when lift broke and passed them on stairs (while carrying luggage down 5 flights, no offer of help) wi fi bad. If this hotel was 100euro a night , fine but for 250 ? No.
Location Staff Room Breakfast
the staff were efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. the location is only minutes from the Metro and handy to a number of restaurants, this is relatively quiet area of the city and is a great place to stay.
not much not to like, would have appreciated small laundry facilities but this hotel is no different in that respect to most others we stayed in whilst in France.
Staff was very helpful and eager to please. The holding of luggage was an excellent amenity! Breakfast was delicious.
Not a lot
Pillows, towels and room very poor for 4 star and the price was extreme!! Will not be travelling back to Paris or this hotel.
Everything was as described (often not the case), comfortable, clean and staff were great.
Loved the location as well as a great room ...quiet, comfortable and great friendly staff
Staff, location, quality off room and amenities.
Location, staff, rooms.
The woman serving breakfast Proximity to gardens
Smoke and noise from next door.my room, 2 star.was listed as deluxe!!what a joke no table and chair security chain on door broken. I am sorry I stayed there total waste of money.
Location, environment, very good service; cleanliness; excellent products in the bathroom
A bit run down rooms; paint peeling off the bathroom door; scratched toilet seat; overall, an outdated bathroom, overdue for refurbishment - that, for a 4 star hotel
Bed, size of the room, cleanliness, very friendly personnel.
Wifi a bit slow.
This hotel is slightly off the beaten track, being in the Latin Quarter of Paris, which has many students and local Parisians. Had a very lovely feel to it. The hotel itself is a boutique hotel, if you are after five star 'Hilton-esque' comfort then this is not the right choice for you. But if you want a hotel that has character, where every room is a different shape, then this is the place for you. The hotel is well appointed, it is clean, great products in the bathroom and good facilities. The staff without doubt are exceptional, very friendly and just keen to make your stay pleasurable! The room we had was a fraction smaller than I had hoped, but it was adequate and most importantly was on the fifth floor and had a balcony overlooking the Pantheon. We never used the breakfast room downstairs, but it looked beautiful, and the standard of breakfast served in the room was good. Loved the honesty bar downstairs in the lobby. The area seemed very friendly and safe, we walked around both in the day and at night and were not ever scared. Good local restaurants and bars, although they did shut early on Saturday night...11pm. The RER station, Luxemborg, is only a few minutes walk away, very easy to use with good links to Gare du Nord and CDG airport. It was a 20 minute walk to Notre Dame I guess.
In truth not much. Room was a fraction smaller than had hoped for and certainly smaller than the hotel website suggested. Otherwise it was very good, and we would definitely stay again
I wrote in the reservation that I want one quiet room ,on the back side of the hotel.Instead, I received a room very noisy on the front side of the hotel, on the last floor. All night I heard the cars and the motocicles , I didn' t sleep well. When I asked for another room , the answer was " We can' t change the room because the hotel is full". I don' t recommand you to stay at this hotel.
We were greeted warmly with a big smile and a room upgrade. The room was as charming as the photos on the website. We had a delightful balcony with lovely views of the Pantheon and an old church with a clock and bell tower. How enjoyable to return after hours of sightseeing and relax with a glass of champagne on the balcony. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice. Bed and linens were first rate.Very easy walk to the metro.DELIGHTFUL!!!!!!!
Room came with a complimentary drink at the newly opened cafe next door. Food was just okay, would have chosen another restaurant after sampling others in the neighborhood.
Very comfy room, great location, very friendly staff. Check out Au Port Du Salut restauarnt nearby - lovely!!
Small (but adequate) bathroom
Stayed here just over night but what a lovely hotel:) very helpful room immaculate and just around the corner from everything Would definitely stay again
The staff is very nice
This is at the most a 3 star Hotel small rooms, almost no Loby stuffy
Everything. This is a lovely hotel in a good location and the staff are so friendly and helpful in every respect. I could not recommend it more highly. We would certainly book here again.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast.
We were upgraded to deluxe room free of charge which is 400 EUR however room was very tiny for 400 EUR price. I know its an old building but don't see why it should be that expensive for that type of room. We were on the 5th floor and it was noisy from the lift.
- service - good 4* value - atmosphere - location near Luxembourg Gardens
We really liked the character and quality of the furnishings and the decor, which gave the hotel a feeling of class. The hotel was set in a lovely quieter area of Paris, yet within reasonable distance to all the sights. Would definitely stay here again.
Access to active area and large park. Room was spacious & functionally decorated.
Would have liked to stay longer.
