This is a funky, intriguing and special hotel. You cannot beat the location - near the tower, river, eating spots and opposite a convenient metro/RER station. We had a 6th floor room with balcony and yet it was not noisy. The furnishings of the entire hotel are so interesting - you feel that you are in a time warp! Overall the staff were very helpful - some more than others, but we really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Highly recommended! Everyone comments on the lift!! It is tiny - ok so that's romantic after a night out, but it's awkward at other times.

The name says it - you couldnt be better located for access to the Eiffel Tower and Seine. Also near taxis, market, cafes, restaurants, metro, and post office. Rooms on the inner courtyard are very quiet - remarkable for such a busy place. Tourist shops near by, but serious shopping just a 7 euro taxi away. Staff fabulous for solving issues, especially Ms Frederique. Accomodations for children or 3 in a room are hard to find in Paris, but this beautiful boutique hotel made it easy and very comfortable. The elevator is the world's smallest

My wife & I are very happy about the hotel in terms of everything. We made an excellent choice; the location of hotel is so near to the Eiffel Tower & the metro station Bir-Hakeim is just in front of the hotel. We had a pleasant surprise when we saw the interior of the hotel was nicely decorated with good design sofas, beautiful paintings on the wall & well arranged lobby. The receptionist was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We were so excited when we enter our room which was so clean & beautifully decorated, especially the toilet! The double bed that we requested was excellent & to our satisfaction. Facilities like towels, soap etc. was excellent and they change & replace everyday. Thank you Effel Seine hotel...keep up the good place. Excellent all round. We would definitely like to stay here again and recommend everybody to choose this hotel. I have got no complaint at all. Thank you.

We had a great time at this hotel. Excellent location, with good access to the RER and Metro railways. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and river Sein. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they spoke excellent English (although we did try to speak French!). Will definitely go back to this hotel if we visit Paris again. Am a very light sleeper and the weekend away was a chance to relax without the kids, so was a bit disappointed that our Club room was a bit noisy as it overlooked the busy street, but we moved to a different room at the back of the hotel and it was wonderfully quiet.

Great little hotel (dont expect much from the room size as there tiny) great location as step off the train and its a walk over the road to the hotel so getting around is easy. Its a great base to stay and explore the city from. If you want to see the Eiffel tower then you cant go wrong as its a 5 min walk. Great staff as the ladies on the reception are first class, very helpfull and they make you feel welcome..... I would recommend this place to my family and friends.......However read my dont like comments as the place is very badly let down by one person!!!!! As with all things in life nothings perfect, Its frustrating as its obvious that most staff (apart from one) enjoy working at this hotel. However Managment please read this, Your night staff couldnt be worse,(The male) Rude, Unhelpfull, more interested in making and taking calls from his friends, and he couldnt be more disinterested in your hotel or people staying there. Its a great shame that one person can destroy the good feeling and genuine friendliness that the rest of your staff portray.

Helpful advice and friendliness of all staff. A comfortable room with all the facilities we needed. The very close proximity to the metro was helpful for getting around the city. We'd happily stay again but would ask for a room that doesn't overlook the metro.

My mum and I stayed here for 3 nights. Loved it. Excellent little hotel, reasonably priced and in a wonderful location right beside the metro/seine/eiffel tower. The staff were very helpful and gave good advice about restaurants and shopping areas. The tiny lift I think merely adds to the character of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the hotel is good. At the time of our stay the breakfast was offered at half price 8 euros, but wouldn't have at 16 euros. Tea/coffee making facilities and mini bar/fridge in room. Good reading lamps which is most unusual in most hotels in which we've stayed. Nice comfortable mattresses but pillows not too good. Nice size shower. Train station across the road Eiffel Tower about 5 mins walk away. The Eiffel Seine is not in a very nice area. It overlooks a train station, which while convenient, gives a very seedy feel to the area. We also like to use a laundromat to do washing but there was none close by. Double glazing on windows cuts out most of the noise of the trains, but not all. I have stayed in 3 different areas in Paris over the years and this was, by far, the worst. I would not stay in this hotel again simply for this reason

The decor was inviting, and though the room was small (what rooms in a European city aren't though), the bed was excellent (queen size, which is a rarity), the bathroom was spacious (by European standards), and the staff was amazing at all hours of the day. The breakfast is pricy when charged full price, but the half-price promotion we were provided in the off-season made it our go-to start for the day. The honesty bar for drinks and teas in the lobby was an additional benefit that we enjoyed having at our disposal, though we used it rarely. The location at the Bir-Hakim (Eiffel Tower) metro/RER C (Champs de Mars) stops made this hotel our number one choice - the amenities and staff make it my go-to hotel the next time I'm in Paris.

A good hotel for the price. Excellent location with immediate access to the Metro and rer. Nice art deco style. The room was somewhat small but clean. During the 4 days spent at the hotel we had contact with 4 different employees at the front desk. Three of them were really helpful. Rooms facing the street are noisy but those overlooking the courtyard are ok. The shower drained a bit slowly.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
