Paris Hotel Gare de Lyon

Nothing. Don't stay there !!! Over priced, bad customer service ( one person in the reception that is always busy talking on the phone). Paid a price of eur 120/ day for a single room which is very expensive compared to other two/three starts hotel in the same area ( Bastille and Gare de Lyon). Dirty and tiny room, small teen bed, carpet is full of spots, water during shower spillet out among the whole bathroom. My room was on the ground floor and I could not open the window because people passing outside could see everything inside the room.

Get away from it !!!!

Convenient for Gare de Lyon.

Rather dark, depressing decour. Claustrophobic small corridors and lifts.Competitively priced to other Paris hotels, but over-priced for the facilities provided.

The light in the bedroom was too weak to read by.

If you are looking for a well located hotel that offers decent rooms for a good rate (value for money) then this may be your place. Good breakfast and helpful staff

Although the rooms were decent and clean, the design (specifically the colour combination) takes you by surprise as the room uses a heavy orange...although colour is not what I am concerned about, how heavy dark colours along with relatively poor lighting in the room (hardly any at all) meant the rooms are dark and drab at all times of the day. This can get depressing especially if you are planning on staying for a few nights. But as mentioned in the positive feedback, if location and value for money are a priority and you need a room primarily for sleeping only, then this is a very good place.

Small tv and very poor reception of channel 4; one of reception's evening staff not cheerfully helpful; others helpful and attentive to expressed needs

Very nice hotel, large twin bedroom with clean, comfortable bathroom. Wifi was free. The location was superior, just 5 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon. I will choose this hotel next time.

Lift was too small and slow.

It was extremely convenient to the Gare de Lyons. There was little or no noise in the bedroom that we occupied, which meant the window could be left open at night. The breakfast was very satisfactory,

It was clean and I had a room at the end of small hallway, so it was quiet.

The hallways were extremely narrow and dark. The staff at the desk were not all that friendly. The website indicated that the hotel had shuttle service to the airport, when in fact there was no such service. I had to walk a few blocks to catch a bus in order to get to the airport. The room was very small and also quiet dark

The room is great.Especially the bathtub is wide enough for one person and very clean. Also the staffs are nice.They can understand English so there was no trouble when I stayed.

Sometimes I heard the sound of trains,but it is not noisy.

The location of the hotel was close to the railway station,the river and restaurants and the bathroom was modern and clean.

Quite good situation, near from the center and from many many interest places and from not too expensive shops, good caffes and restourants, not fare from undegraund comfortable parking (under the Gare de Lyon), siutable way from the center of Paris (to Amsterdam, our next point in Europe's travel)
