Style and comfort of hotel
The hotel was beautiful and the suite was wonderful.
That we couldn't stay longer.
The welcome and attention paid to us on arrival was excellent together with the service and quality of catering in the restaurant in the evening, highly recommended. Location also excellent being in the centre of the town.
The Hotel is very central and we were lucky to find a parking spot close by. The fact we would have had to pay extra for parking had we not been so lucky didnt sit well when paying a premium rate for premium services.
Architecture location history
The building and the fact they accept dogs, and also the cost of the breakfast was included in the room rate.
No one to meet us, no reception, one has to park in the road to unload the car,no Wi Fi , no resturant, no fridge or mini bar in the room, the property is poorly lite in general, emerging from the lift on the second floor it was pitch black no obvious light switch, Trip hazards...broken floor tiles in the bedroom. Only one bar of soap for two of us.so although the bathroom had a shower, a bath and two wash hand baisons only one of us could use the bathroom at a time.Pathetically small pool, made to look bigger in the promotional advert. At breakfast it took an age to be service in fact a couple came down after us and got served before we did, it looked like the fool was prepared the night before, no Muesli no smoke salmon, only a small pot of tepid coffer each. We could not recommend it and we will not be going back. As B&B yes fine, but not Relais Chateau standard.
Very convenient for the centre. Beautiful old house and spacious rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Some broken things in the bedroom need attention. The breakfast at €22 was overpriced.
The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant worth a visit.
Good location and some historic interest. Good food and good wine suggestions. The building has maintained much of the original elements and has been updated to function as a hotel but it still needs some freshening up.
On our recent driving trip this was the most expensive hotel stay and the least interesting or welcoming. The restaurant only serves fixed four or five course menu which was good but we didn't seem to have other options. We found the staff either available or unhelpful.
Wonderful hotel in a great location
Very intimate experience in a charming boutique hotel in an equally charming french village. The dinners were a highlight; Rogier's menus were beautifully balanced so that you still enjoyed desert. The ballade of local vins a great choice. Fantastic old building with palatial rooms.
Minor point; the courtyard is the place to eat when the weather is nice but it is a smoking area. It would be better not.
The central location, the room & the ambiance of the hotel. If you want somewhere special this is the place to stay.
A mini Chateau within the town, beautifully furnished, rooms amazing and food to die for.
Quality in every phase of the hotel: location, staff, interior decor, comfort, excellent rooms.
The courtesy bottle of red wine, a generic Bordeaux, is best used to remove road tar and animal droppings from your hub caps. I tried two bottles and they were both awful. To their credit, the hotel did not dispute my reaction. Suggestion: trade up to a good BX Superieur.
Excellent in every way
10*Service and wonderful cuisine made for a really great holiday. Everyone is made to feel special.
Leaving this lovely place!
Everything was to like -ambience, perfect degree of unobtrusive attentiveness of owner and staff. Well worth visiting.
