male receptionist - impatient, agressive, switched to French and passed remarks to other staff members , we understand French and cosider this an insult We reserved a room with bath , but were sent to room with shower No lft in the building and we had to carry suit cases up stairs . No hot water in bath No handles to assist in getting into and out of bath - very dangerous Cardboard cups for tea and coffee a la cheap budget hotels

Easy to find from leaving the motorway. Staff wre very friendly and when we had a problem with lights in the room they moved us to another room without any fuss. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food choice and quality was good.

We found the hotel looking a little old, toilets were getting very old.They never leave enough pillows and towels for the 3rd person...

Good hotel facilities,free wifi and x-box which our 14 year old enjoyed. Swimming pool clean and well kept. Large carpark. Bus stop right outside with regular metro-bus to city centre costing 1.40 Euro.

Felt mis-led over the cost of breakfast. When we were booking the booking.com website said 8 euros, however this turned out to 15. The breakfast was good but overpriced.

This is a very conveniently located hotel that we stayed at on the way back from the South of France before catching a ferry at Caen. For such a reasonably priced hotel we were really delighted with the stay. The hotel is not massive so is pretty quiet and away from main roads. It has a small (cold) pool which was perfect for our young children! It has a lovely little play area, indoors and outdoors. There is a tranquil terrace area next to the pool and small gardens. The room was pretty decently sized and we didn't feel squashed even with two put up beds added. The room was very soundproofed and lightproofed which is unusually good for most hotels particularly reasonably priced ones. The breakfast area was light and airy with friendly attentive staff and the buffet breakfast was most definitely a cut above the standard continental fayre with a good variety of hot and cold drinks and food. Perfect hotel for a stopover and a relaxing nights sleep. We noticed a lot of cabin crew arrive on the night of our stay who knew the staff well so they must agree too!

Swimming pool and the terrace and gardens..also the location very close to the junction of the motorway.

It was a very good hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean, modern, many amenities, and comfortable. The hotel staff was great, many spoke english which was quite helpful. The restaurant food was delicious for dinner as well as the petit dejeuner for breakfast was the best we had with all the many selections to choose from, including delicious scrambled eggs and sausage. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Also they have a child's playroom with many toys, and an outdoor play area as well as a pool. Again this hotel is reasonably priced for all that you get.

Could use an elevator, a/c, and screens on windows, but that seems to be the norm when lodging in France.

Swimming pool was great for the children

I booked a non smoking room but we were put in a smoking room and we could smell that this was the case. I asked to be moved and we were but I don't see why a familiy was allocated a room that is smoking when my booking details stated 'strictly non smoking'.

Very friendly staff in a well located hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy and the swimming pool and table tennis facilities were a bous after a long day driving.

Prices are too expensive,2 meals cost €175 !

The hotel is nice & cozy. 150 parking spaces. Very near buy to shopping area. Very convinient.

The facilities of the hotel were excellent we will be coming again.

Great stopping off point, travelling up through France from holiday in South West. Easily accessed from N137. Travelling with our four kids, we arrived at 9 .45pm after a long drive from near Spanish boarder, the reception was very efficient and helpful. Kitchen was still going and the family meal deal the receptionist recommended was ideal. We had selected a family room and double to suit our needs, both rooms were spacious and had all facilities. Wifi easily accesable and kids games in reception area proved popular. We were moving towards the ferry in the morning, so travelled after an excellent breakfast.

Excellent staff, great value and easy to locate.

This is one of the better Novotels we have stayed at in that it has obviously been refurbished not too long ago and whilst the food is very basic it is better than you usually get at these places. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard but good pillows.

The location is grim unles you like being right next to a huge shopping park - but,then again, you are only stopping here to get your head down for the night on your way to somewhere else

Thou we were in non smoking, it smelt of bad cigarettes, shower a bit difficult to get out for mature couple, also very slippery.
