The staff does not know what is a customer, especially a young lady, horribly stuck up, who is more a dormitory supervisor than a receptionist. Definitively to avoid.
Ease of access, nice neighborhood Proximity to buses and subways. Many restaurants, bistros and cafes around. Friendly staff
Front desk looks decrepit Internal walls paperthin so conversations carry from room to room. Noisy A/C. Poor bathroom appearance.
The French window was nice with a view to the street. The staff were friendly.
nothing seemed to work- Light bulbs were missing, the fridge was locked (and so not accessible), the room was run down and in need of upgrade, the phone didnt work, the desk lamp was not plugged in, the TV antenna was not plugged in- all in all, not a very welcoming room. although the french windows to the street were lovely.
Staff person very rude, and super slow. Preparing the invoice took him 45 minutes and calling for a taxi another 15. he seemed completely lost in what his job is. In general the hotel did not leave any good impression.
I paid for a larger room and I got one that was comfortable enough for my stay. It had a small fridge and and a wall safe. The room was quiet even with the window open to a busy street at night.
The wall safe did not work when I arrived and it took a day or two to fix. The toilet leaked so there was a pool of water on the bathroom floor for several days since it didn't get fixed until after the weekend (i.e.. the day beforeI left). The staff at the front desk could be friendlier !
close to major attractions
the bed, the cigarette smoke coming from the room next door, the band playing until 2am next door, the room air did not work, the subway under the building shaking the room every 15 minutes
Staff are not friendly . Room was not clean enough , in the wash room i found hair everywhere on the floor .. So dirty hotel.. Electricity didn't work properly.. Cleaners staff earley in the morning already from 7am start talking in the corridor in front of your door , so you can not sleep anymore , and have to wake up... Breakfast so poor and no tasty , they should serve it for free for that quality food that they are giving.. Definitely i will not recommend this hotel to anybody .. I would give to that hotel 1 star..
The location of the hotel is perfect, there are bars and cafes near the hotel and two metro stations. Beautiful place to stay. The personal was so kindly and helpful, rooms were cleaned every day. Our stay was in the spring and it was hot in the rooms which was perfect cos outside was really cold. Perfect place to stay!
Reception staff Mooza and lady on Breakfast were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms very substandard, and cleanliness of the hotel very below average and the bedrooms smelt musty and damp, although the maid did do the beds clean around the room and replenish the towels daily. I was forced to pay for breakfast at 10 euros each for a really poor quality breakfast which I had already paid for in the price when booked. Hotel area very noisy due to a bar open until 5am so very little sleep. as hard as I try to recommend this hotel I really can't and would advise an alternative stay somewhere else, overpriced and not the cleanest. Sorry just being honest
the location *** the desk person who checked us in, and continued to try to be helpful...
The bedside drawers did not open, the closet had about 6 hangers, (wider than the closet) the fridge was not working, closet hangers were bigger than the space they were in. I was impossible to open the safe beyond a few inches... the safe door only opened about 4 inches, because of where it was located. (we still used it) the phone NEVER worked. There was a 8 inch step up for the shower, no safety bar, and the maids were not very nice... when I said the phone did not work, I was told what I was doing wrong, after sending a repair person, they finally agreed the phone was DEAD...I won't be back. .
it is poor hotel...bad staff, non cleanliness, non comfort
Outdated furniture. Was ok for a night at 50% discount though
They had a free suite for one night and upgraded my stay without any question on my side
Electricity was cut. It was repaired after 10 hours.
The reception was generous and handsome, kind to give us the same room after we made two reservation. the room was for 3 persons and has been upgraded due to weekend special into a Suite. it was spectacularly nice. and comfort. The hotel was comfortable and nice. handsome receptionist too. the location was nice and close to Grand Lafayatte with plenty nearby food (including arabic halals). close to metro train.
nothing much to hate.
Reasonable though unexciting location, close to Metro station.
Room so small you couldn't swing a cat in it. Even the coathangers had to twist sideways to fit into the wardrobe. Decor tired.
Great location close to bars, restaurants and the metro.
Location good and staff friendly.
Room to small and nothing like the web picture. Metro ran right under hotel so sounded like rolling thunder.
Location is ok
They try to use technology but cannot manage it. The wi-fi only works in the reception area, in two different rooms I had problems with the Room Key, in one they took 4 hs to open the door, breakfast does not accomplish the expectation for the price charged, needs lots of improvements and it is not Customer Oriented Services
Overpriced, shabby, noisy, room key never worked, no wifi in room
Very noisy - a pub across the street is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5 a.m.! The room was very small and the hotel is really too expensive for what it offers. We were very disappointed!
I liked the fact that the hotel is in a very good location. It is really close to theatres, cinemas, and main attractions.
I think the hotel was too expensive for the quality of the rooms and service. The staff included about 4 people and they were all rude and incompetent. The room and beds were very small. They only gave us one pass-card to share with 3 other persons. I do not recommend this hotel at all
Everything - price for a 3 star was expensive. Room was not 3 star as we have stayed in many hotel rooms and know what 3 star standard is. Room was not clean floor was dirty and bathroom had mould on the tiles. Also had a musty smell. Breakfast was a croissant and small roll both were stale and the yoghurt was warm. Paris in general was very disappointing and people were extremely rude and unhelpful. I believe we should have been reimbursed for the cost of the breakfast and room as it was overpriced for what it was. I highly doubt that the hotel cares.
