reception, lobby, breakfast room formule one stile which doesn't match the price range. very gard to find as no signs/directions

Excellent and helpful staff and large room for a French hotel.

Strangely, although there was a kitchen, there were was absolutley no crockery or cutlery at all.

Nice cosy ensuite rooms in historical building. Excellent value for money deal and friendly staff. Do recommend only if vehiculed.

Advertised as self catering, but they do not supply any utensils for cooking, or even a cup for coffee.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great room for the price - basic, but clean and had everything you could need. Quiet location yet only a short walk into town. Free parking, free WIFI.

Clean and adequate

Studio had cooker and fridge, but no pots, plates, cutlery or utensils. So a bit wasted. Towels were very cheap and thin.

Great accommodation on two levels - well renovated building from 19th century and lots of space.

It was a very nice hotel. Booked an apartment and ended up getting a double room. They then refunded us the difference.

A little too far out of town

The hotel was difficult to locate. It was a Good price for an overnight stop. The place accept dogs. The bed was comfortable & good shower facilities.

Was advertised as a self catered room, There was a fridge & a 2 burner cooker, but there were no pans or cutlery etc, which was very disappointing. Also, there appeared to be no restaurants close by, which meant a car ride to find something.

The residence was about 2 kms from the Centre Ville, and we had great fun choosing different ways to walk into and out of town. Therefore we saw lots of areas that most people wouldn't see. Rooms were very spacious and as we were on the top floor we had a great view. I'm not sure why people complain about the distance to walk as we worked up an appetite on the way in and walked off our meals on the way out of town. The lift was a godsend after almost three weeks travelling and having no lifts anywhere else.

A laundry would have been good. But then it was no problem to walk into town to the local laundry, do the the washing whilst having a local breakfast and then walk home again.

Clean, simple, functional and good value

It was clean, secure and nice views of the surrounding hills. It had a bath and plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well when connected but had continuing problems connecting.

The hotel was too far out to walk to the centre of town although buses were available. The hotel was in 2 separate buildings over 200 metres apart and we were in the one remote from reception and breakfast room. This involved walking in the rain along the car park to get new wifi codes and to go to breakfast. Price of €63 for bed and breakfast was fair considering the facilities.

Quiet. Nice big rooms. Had 2 quites which could sleep 4 comfortable each. We we're not aware so ended up booking 2 for 3 people. Kitchen equipped.

A little hard to find. Rooms are a little worn.

Difficult to find, lack of signage, unlit at night and bad road surface on approach to hotel.

It was a very clean place and seemed to be a well renovated or new building. We are only a small family and our rooms were just big enough. I would have liked an armchair to rest in after being out all day as the temperatures were 37 and 38 centigrade all week. It seemed quite ciut off but a short drive behind the residence were some shops and a restaurant( which we never got round to using). i.e. within 300 to 400 metres. The grass in front of rthe building was quite thorny and not really suitable for the children to play ball.We were well situated for travel to Rheims, the champagne countryside and farms. This part of the country is best suited to a 3 or 4 day stay I think.

Only one area of seating at the back of the residence. Some benches at the front around the grassed area would have been nice. It was very hot in our appartment on the ground floor and so we couldn't leave our windows open at night. We could have done with shutters for ventilation and security.

Mostly fine.

Receptionist could have mentioned that cutlery plates etc were only provided on payment of €20 deposit rather than leaving us to find out and return some significant distance later. The hotel is also some way from the centre in a town with a nightmarish one way system.

Frendly, good location

Plenty of parking. Clean comfortable room.

A little difficult to locate, requires better signage to direct travellers once on the large grounds. Flooring in hallway to rooms is tiled and is very noisy, foot steps noise transfers into the rooms. Drive way in need of repair, lots of pot holes. Make sure on arrival your room has everything, ours did not have a tv and they where not able to supply one.

This seems to be a fairly new hotel. The rooms were nice, airy,and modern. Lots of parking on site. Only 1 km from the center of Epernay.

There were no supplies for the kitchen, no plates, silverware, pots. No television (maybe they are coming), the linoleum floors were dirty (scuff marks, etc.) through out. Breakfast was marginal for the price. Again, this seems to be a fairly new hotel, maybe there are plans in the works for these issues.

Just a 5-10 minute drive to the centre of Epernay, this was a pleasant, economical and clean hotel.

It was difficult to find as it is new and the street wasn't in my new Tomtom GPS' map. While it had a kitchenette, there was no cutlery, crockery or pots/pans (and who travels with those items?).

Wow! What a wonderful room. Fresh, clean, recently renovated and all new. Only interesting thing about the hotel was that they are early in the renovation process and you need to follow the sign to get to the check-in location. The staff recommended a great restaurant.

Quiet location but not too far from the highlights of town. Beautiful views around the surrounding vineyards. Spaciousness and comfort offered at that price. Refrigerator for my lactofree milk. Helpfulness of staff.

Only one bath towel, (remedied following day) v little loo paper - had to get some from downstairs ladies loo.

Very clean, tidy & comfortable. Excellent value for money. Only stayed 1 night but ideal for overnight stay. Slight walk in to town centre about 20 minutes.

Good option for overnight stop to/from France if driving. Plenty of free parking, comfortable, clean rooms, good shower and filling breakfast. Can be difficult to find an overnight hotel nearer the Chunnel. Try this and you will not be disappointed.
