Hotel is close to metro station Clean - towels changed daily, bed made up, no problem with sanitary in general Rooms and bathroom recently redecorated
Neigbourhood is not too safe - full of ethnic people who gather on the streets each evening The bed was awful - like a bathtub, definitely broken. We were in room 14 bis on floor 5 Doors are very thin. You can hear people next door
Good breakfast, included in price
It was too small and shower door is half, so it doesnt close. TV channels were all in french. Itss bit pricey for what it is
Close to the metro station and train station.
Very basic rooms (could do with bit more cleaning too) Strange neighbourhood Door from bathroom wouldn't shut Wifi didn't seem to work Only one lamp in the room was working, the other lights /bulbs weren't! For breakfast all you get is a croissant and coffee, so I wouldn't recommend paying extra for breakfast . We were really dissapointed with the hotel.
There is wifi in the rooms.
There is a temporarily market some days of the week bettween the hotel and the subway, so its very hard to walk in this part because of the number of people walking and shopping. I didn't feel safe on this days...
Great value for money, easy to find, very near to the metro, friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast is OK - everything you need when you are on a budget trip and the room is just for sleeping.
The hotel was OK, the staff very friendly albeit not very good in English. The location is great - short walk to Sacré-Cœur and very close to the metro. Good value for money.
The bed in our room was, well I can't find any other word than - LOUSY. The worst bed ever I encountered on any trip any where in the world and I have been traveling a lot, with a lot - I mean like always, for the last 35 years.
There is no elevator to the 3rd floor. The room smelled of damp and was poorly furnished. Furniture themselves were dirty. The bathroom was very cramped and poorly furnished (no place to put anything). The door of the shower was broken and could not close. There were no towels in the bathroom (I had to go down 3 floors to look more and there was only one towel per person). Wi-fi did not work. I can not recommend this place to anyone.
This is the "WORST" hotel I ever seen in my life. Here are what I found during the time I stayed in this hotel. 1) There are water stains all over the wall of our room. 2) There are mold and water stains all over the toilet. We belive that there was no proper cleaning of the room and toilet. 3) The door knob of our room was broken. It was very difficult to lock or unlock the door. 4) Breakfast was limit. One person can only has one croissant, bread, glass of orange juice or water, and coffee or tea. 5) Staff of this hotel unpluged my stuff without my permission when I was outside. 6) Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, but the hotel never changed a new towel for us during our stayed. 7) There was many mosquitoes in the hotel, but the maid always keep the windor of our room opened. So, we have problem when we came back to our room.
Price, located really close to a metro station.
Facilities are not well maintained, towels were changed only twice in 8 days, there were several things not really well cleaned. Wifi worked only sometimes, probably due to a router that doesn't allow enough connections for so many guests.
The hotel is located pretty close Gare du Nord which is one of the Pari's biggest train stations. Wi-fi at least works
The staff treats you terrible, like if you were not paying for the service. The facilities sucks, no lift, tiny and dirty rooms.
Close to Gare du Nord.
Location was a bit noisy, hotel owner overbooked the hotel, wifi wasn't available, wasn't really clean.
Easy to get to the underground. Staff are very friendly. Market on your doorstep on market days is great atmosphere
We was on top floor with a baby that had to be carried. Was a bit noisy with Algerian supporters every night just up the road with chanting and flares. My shower didn't hold up.
everything except location
The location is bad
excellent staff, very helpful very near to metro and walking distance to gare du nord
Nothing about this hotel
Everything was terrible and disappointing. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, didn't speak much English. hotel was dirty and smelt like dead mouse. surrounding and area of hotel was filthy and so noisy, there was a market right on front of the hotel and railway station which kept us awake all night, noisy guests in the hallway talking and shouting all night... bed was a very poor quality and broken in the middle. the room was mouldy and smelly, the breakfast was a joke, just coffee and some tea with hard bread and a small pack of margarine and jam. the staff was very unhelpful when we asked to change rooms and didn't offer any help so we ended up changing hotels altogether and paid a lot more extra... I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anyone.
Clean and quaiet hotel, good value for money, close to metro( Barbes-Rochechoares station), good wi-fii.
the neighbourhood gives you a feeling of insecurity especially if you are a woman, the hotel elevator is very small, the breakfast is poor.
15 minutes walk to Gard De Nord train station but there are other hotels which are much nearer and brighter. But costs a bit more.
Location of the hotel located off the the main road and cleanliness of the streets around nothing to shout about.
It was next to Gare du nord which made it very easy to travel on the metro and the staff was very helpful and kind. Beds were comfortable and rooms modernized.
The surrounding neighborhood was dirty and a little sketchy Also the front exterior windows faced the elevated trains which were a little noisy and staircase was small.
Contrary to other reviews we found this hotel perfectly good as a bed for the night, wouldn't recommend it as somewhere to spend your day. Room was clean, shower worked, lift worked, view and noise of passing metro trains was part of the charm. Good value for money.
Wifi was pretty good.
This hotel is situated in the worst district of Paris. You shouldn't come back in the night time. Personnel almost doesn't know english. Bed bugs!
I liked nothing about the hotel
Didn't like the location, the rooms, the ill-mannered staff. When we checked in on arrival, they could not find our reservation. Once they found our reservation then they didn't have 2 double rooms which we had paid for. Then the following day a couple were moved into my room whilst we were out sightseeing in Paris during the day. Eventually I was offered a double room which smelt of pizza from the previous occupant and had holes in the bed sheets with damp patches on the walls and ceilings. In short, we were totally dissatisfied with the hotel and expect some sort of compensation for a horrendous experience. - Mark Quainoo
Consistent Wi-if / regular hot running water.
The atmosphere was poor and meant you couldn't feel relaxed. The management was very negative and unhelpful.
Spacious room Nice bathroom Good supply of extra blankets Good wardrobe space
The cleaning lady kicked us out one of the mornings because she wanted to clean on schedule They misplaced the room key and we were given the emergency one Heating centrally off Minimal English
