It is a very affordable and comfortable hotel. Using the subway (the station is just four blocks from the hotel) you can be at the Eiffel tower in just thirty minutes. Besides, the employees are very welcoming, and they are willing to explain you how to get to main tourist attractions. The neighbourhood is calm and beautiful (there are nice parks, and quiet gardens in the streets nearby). There is a little supermarket nearby, as well as many restaurants. The room was clean and it wasn’t noisy at night. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like, though certain characteristics of the hotel may trouble some people. For instance, there is no elevator and the staircase is very narrow. Thus, you may have troubles if you are carrying heavy luggage, and if you are in a wheel chair you will probably not be able to get to your room. Additionally, the bathroom of my room had no door. Mine was a single room with a single bed, so I guess rooms for more than one people do have doors on their bathrooms.

The price for Paris was more than OK. People were very kind and helpfull. We were there on our Honey moon and they offered us flowers and fruits. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from the subway and the neighborhood was peacefull. We had Super Markets and Restaurant 50 m from the Hotel. If you are looking for a good value for money, we suggest you to visit this Hotel. The internet was not very good.

Quiet; price is resonable; Room is too tiny, even you can not turn round easily in room; No elevator, it was very difficult to pull your luggage to 4th floor from their narrow stairs.

Value for money deal. This is the best one can expect in the given price at Paris. Rooms were clean to an acceptable level. Proximity to metro is a big advantage. One couple with us had a baby with them. They were provided with an apartment room(included cooking range, microwave and 2 double beds). Hotel staff was courteous, didnt felt french leaving the language. We also left our luggage till night at the hotel reception after checking out. It was safe and the only problem was to explain the girl at reception that we wanted to leave our bags there till evening.Hotel also have some restaurants close by, check in google maps for better clarity. Overall no bad and good surprises. Turned out to be as we thought, basic, neat accomodation. The room didn't feel good at once we entered. They were cold and small. We went out leaving the heaters on and when we returned it was very much better. Beds are not very comfortable. But since we were very tired by night, it didnt hampered a good sleep. No great complaint as such..... We had very low expectations and were ready for worse.

I read earlier reviews, especially those in French, and found they reflect the hotel fairly. The owner/manager is very courteous and helpful, responsive to one's needs. My spouse is especially sensitive to odors, so I stressed the need for non-smoking, quiet room, one well- aired and clean. It's exactly what we received. For price, convenience to metro and neighborhood safety, it was a good stop for a weekend break. As pointed out elsewhere, the building is not well sound-proofed. Typical of many Paris hotels, the plumbing in retrofitted rooms passes through a chase between the floors in unexpected locations. It can be noisy in the morning between running water and people moving up and down the stair. The room was a tight fit for two people.

1) The staff are very friendly and polite (slightly unusual for Paris) 2) Hotel is 5minute easy walk from Malakoff Pleateau station and very safe/quite area... 3) There are loads of take aways around the hotel, and a delicious curry place right opposite + supermarket at 1 minute walk 4) The reception is open until 11pm 5) WIFI is fully functioning and good speed Where should I start- If you are in Paris, you will go out all day and come back exhausted. When back in hotel room, you will need a nice comfortable sleep- However: 1) The hygine in this hotel is below average. The carpets are smelly and entire hotel smells of smoke. To a extent that I had to rub after shave around my nose before sleeping. The smell of smoke is very over powering 2) They do not provide fresh towels irrespective of how many days you stay 3) Bed is uncomfortable and all the electrical equipments in the room make gruesome noise (enough to wake you up). To make it worst, the cleaner starts the hoover from 10am (or even before) 4) The drainage runs through each room. So if anyone flushes the toilets above, the noise will definately irritate your nerves + the bathroom/toilet has no doors...so it is smoke+smell of damp towels 5) Although 15min in Metro, but it is far enough. If you are going on a nightout or clubbing, coming back could be a great struggle

The caretaker was very friendly and helpful, and always suggested the more scenic routes to get to places E.G. to go to Invalides metro and then walk to the Eiffel Tower. There was free wi-fi, which worked ok. This is a great choice if you are in Paris on a budget. No particular complaints. The hotel is well worn, but I'm not that fussy. A little away from the centre of Paris, but good value for money.

Good location, away from the main city but near a metro station. Nice little neighborhood with laundry facilities near by. The room and the bathroom were both quite small. Narrow staircase so it is a bit hard to get heavy bags up to your room.

This small hotel is very pleasant--quiet and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the location is near the first Malakoff Metro. It was within walking distance of conferences at the Porte de Versailles. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends.

There is little to say, it was somewhere to sleep. Clean and practical. Paris is very expensive so in these terms this hotel is very reasonably priced. Access to the City by Metro is very convenient.

The windows were very good, protected from most of the noise from the street. The price was ok 51 euro per night for a double room. I have not been in other hotels in Paris so I cannot compare. But it was the cheapest one I found. It was not possible to stay there with open windows. In front of the room were traffic lights. And even saturday night they were on (what is the city administration case). The cleaning lady tries to do the best of the room, but still it looked a bit "dark and dirty". The hotel for its price.

There is Wifi included in the hotel's price, the hotel's location is comfortable: 20-30 minutes by metro to Champs-Elysees, some resaurants and brasseries in 5 minute access The bathroom is not clean, the shower works bad, the cleaning of the room is awful, they don't change the towels, they didn't change the bed linen within 9 days! There is no air conditioner, no safe, no refrigerator. The room is extremely small so you cannot reach the other side of the bed without touching the wall. You can hear all your neighbors walking, talking, slamming their doors. You should book this hotel only if you don't have another joice. Even for 53 Eur per night this is totally unacceptable!

The service was great. We didn't ask for any breakfast due to other plans, but afterwards it was anyway possible to have any (somebody went to the bakery for it). The owner tried to speak english which was ok for somebody from france. The last day, the power failed because of another tourist with a malfunctioning device.

The staff was very helpful, the location was conveniently located relatively close to a metro station, the hotel was very easy to locate. The room wasn't really clean, one view of the room was towards a construction site (I know it`s not their fault, but still).

Localization, calm neighborhood, shops and restaurants nearby. A lot of hot water in the shower. Rooms absolutely inadequate to photos displayed on booking.com. Our room was approximately 2x2.5m and double bed was just funny. Despite that the bed could barely fit us both, my legs were too long for this bed(I'm 180cm so it's an average height). Fortunately, after one night we have managed to get a bigger room which was ok according to size. A lot of dust in hotel, unclean. We had to sleep under a blanket which smelled unpleasant so I guess it wasn't washed before our arrival. Small, destroyed shower.
