Residence Du Rivage Chez Gino  

The hotel was located in a pretty village/town very close to Le Touquet. Nothing was too much trouble for Gino, he was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, easy to park, the room was excellent and very inexpensive. We would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at Residence du Rivage Chez Gino for a couple of nights in September 2011. Our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden so it was very quiet. Everything was immaculately clean and the rooms seemed recently decorated. Breakfast was self service and quite extensive for a French medium-price hotel. Secure parking for about 12 cars is available for a modest 2 euros per night but as we were at the rear of the hotel we didn't have to pay. The hotel was handy for a Carrefour small supermarket just down the road and Etaples is only a few minutes from Le Touquet where the hotels are really expensive!

We couldn't get either television to work, but as we didn't approach Gino to find out why this was our problem, not really his. Gino doesn't accept credit card payment even though Booking.com gives this option.

We had a lovely relaxed stay.a good position for france and calaise area.

Very small room, bedding not changed during stay of five days, no privacy if you wanted to have a rest windows and blinds had to be closed, then you had no air in the room. This is only a transit hotel? one night stay only.

The owner Gino is helpful and the parking at the hotel for two euros a night is excellent. The hotel is not far from the town square whiich is very handy.

Our stay was pleasant enough but unfortunately when we arrived we were disappointed as we were told the garden apartment we had booked with booking.com was unavailable as it was being decorated, which in our view we could have been notified beforehand. We were given another apartment which needed TLC but was adequate for two for the week although a bit shabby, we were told on leaving it was next for decorating.

Gino was very friendly and helpful and able to pass on information regarding local restaurants. Good location in the centre of Etaples and about 60k from Calais. Free secure parking was a great asset

Hospitality tray in the room was a good thing, but felt small milk cartons should have been supplied, although there is a local supermarket nearby. Bath towels were far too small and really only the size of hand towels

it was clean, quiet, safe car parking with some kitchen facilities in some rooms.

Location well situated, The Studio was well equiped, Close to the centre, Pleseant Hotel/Grounds & Staff, Secure off street Parking, Overall pleased with choice of accomodation. Etaples tends to go to sleep early evening - Not alot going on there although Market Day is Good. Le Touquet a short drive away.. Well worth a visit is Le Crotoy a busy little pleseant place.

We liked Gino's! If you are not too fussy about bathroom doors which close, blankets on the bed or well fitted wardrobes but hanker instead after boys' gadgets, hydro showers and a sauna, yes a sauna, in your living area then Gino's whacky red, black and silver décor could be just for you! Whether you love it or hate it's definitely something different for your holiday!

The women in the room above were wering very noisy heels which on the tiled floor echoed in the room below. I could trace their every move whilst they were wearing their outside shoes. Ohterwise a comfortable stay.

Was central to the shops and restaurants etc, so you can park your car and walk no need to drive,

The personal service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful and a perfect host. The facilities were excellent and the room and establishment very clean. Location was excellent being close to the village square
