The Residence is well situated close to sea and the shops and restaurants of Beg Meil. We did not use vthe swimming pool so cannot comment. The cooking facilities are barley adequate, there were spoons missing that were supposed to be there, according to the itinary on the cupboard door, and there were no cups or mugs of a decent size to make tea or coffee, we had to go and buy some form the supermarket.

we were 2 adults with 2 18 yr olds, really enjoyed the stay, it was quiet, we were there at the end of the summer holls, staff was very welcoming, room was very clean, a lovely pool, we were just around the corner from the small beach, which was lovely, and right in the town,it is a small town and we did not here any noise at night from the local bars.We were there for 8 nights which I think was long enough with 2 teenagers as there was not a lot for them to do.Would def. stay there again. Glad I paid the extra to have a pool view, wouldnt have liked overlooking the road, although there was a tv, would have liked to have a bit more channels to watch in english other than world news.

Nice location with pretty beaches nearby, close to restaurants. Swimming pool area was nice and not too full. In the apartments, the living room with balcony/terrace was pleasant, the kitchen area nice (though only 2 pit stove). Large bathroom with bath. Generally a nice looking complex with handy laundry room (use of washing machine cost 4 Euro, dryer 2 Euro). We arrived to find that our apartment was a street side one, next to the laundry room which we didn't like and got an upgrade to a pool side apartment for free (this thanks to the nice lady at reception, not the policy) Only the pool side apartments have a nice view, but they are more expensive. In the apartment we found that the master bedroom was tiny and the bunk beds for children are put in the hallway, in between the front door, toilet and master bedroom. Unless your children are very sound sleepers, they will wake up when anyone leaves the apartment/uses the toilet. We were also bothered from street noises at night and in the early morning (from the bar across the street, from garbage trucks etc.) - however, we are used to having very quiet bedroom at home.

Very friendly and informative introduction by the hotel staff. Before we arrived they had replied to requests very promptly. The apartment and shared pool was clean and well maintained. The apartment through bookings.com was very good value. Whilst the rooms aren't luxurious, they have are comfortable and have all you need. The location of the hotel was relaxing and great for families. The hotel had mainly families staying, so was quiet in the evenings - which was great. Overall excellent!

The Residence is quiet despite being a fair size, and is well-located adjacent to the centre charming village of Beg Meil, offering a choice of places to eat/shop, and an easy walk to several pretty beaches. Good-sized and clean communal pool set in a pretty well-planted garden. The apartments are of a good standard of furnishing. Beds are firm but ok, linen/towels ample, cooking facilities and equipment very adequate. Via the excellent GR34 coastal path you can access a string of coves to the north, and larger beaches to the south/west. Also a reasonable base for touring the area by car, eg. the lovely town of Quimper, and boat trips from the quay at Beg Meil. A really good family holiday base. Only minor things. Good idea to bring your own can-opener and corkscrew - those provided are ultra-basic. Attached to your apartment key is a remote control for the gate to the car park (only used overnight), but in most cases these seemed not to work and everyone had to duck into reception to borrow the working remote (but no big problem). Internet access is slow. Using the (good) laundry machines requires buying tokens from reception.

Good location. Space living room / kitchen is pleasant. Guarantee parking. Comfort was minimal. Bunk bed in the hallway near the door. Hot water is not enough for family of 4, in the evening we had only cold water. On the last night lost electricity in the apartment. And because the staff works only up to 19-30, we were without electricity, stoves, dishwashers, heating and hot water until the morning. We used the bathroom and toilet with the light from the mobile phone. In the room you can not call out, Wi-Fi only in the common room. On the door - a list of the value of things that you can spoil. Everything indicates that there conveyor. Why four stars?

In fact, this is not a hotel, but only apartments. At that very small rooms in our room for four people in a bedroom near the bed to Proetho had to move sideways. Window casing, where the lodge people who are buying stay less than a week out on the road all day long the noise and early morning garbage trucks passing. In the rooms there is not even soap and toilet paper over when we were sent to the front desk in a supermarket.

Beg Meil is a nice place from which you may reach a variety of beaches - the really good ones are at more than half an hours drive, though. * We were asked to pay at once without having seen the appartement. * What you see on the website is not necessarily what you get - garden view only if you stay at least 7 nights or more. * The "maximum" with our 6 nights as booking.com clients was on the first floor just above street level. * The street with music from a restaurant, busses etc - but it might have been on the ground floor below street level;) * The appartement was prepared for 4 persons and declared for 5 but the manager would not let us have the 4 sets of towels though we asked for it. * The appartement looked OK at first but then it was not exactly spotless and we wondered how the compulsory final inspection would turn out. * Our standard appartment had such a small bedroom that one of us always had to step sideways to go to bed - 2 of the other beds were bunkbeds right by the entrance, plus a sofa. * The construction itself was "noisy" with sounds of chairs etc. plus rain dripping from the board walk above on to the bedroom window. * Space was a problem with the tiny parking lots, and we got our rental car scratched. * The WIFI had restricted opening hours and was then out of function for several days - allegedly a client had blown the configuration when trying to get the system working.

Amazing, pleasant and cosy hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We took a large appartment with 2 bedrooms. There was enough room for the whole family. Swimming pool was great and very usefull for us because the water in the ocean was cold. Contrary to what you may find in some appartment residences, the furniture and utensils are new, in good qualility and unbroken. The kitchen had everything we needed with all things in their places. Nearby there is a wonderfull bakery and an ice-cream shop with homemade ice-cream. 2 minutes walk away there is a fresh fish trade stall, direct from the fishermen. A big supermarket is about a 5 min. drive away. No soap in the bathroom. Better to bring with you.

I like Appartments. It is fully equipped, even tablets for dishwashing machine. Parking. Sea is close. Very nice resort town. It was sunny even when other parts of Brittany were under the rain. Room was spacy there is 3 separate areas, bathroom and balcony. Should be very good for families with children. Internet isn't available in the room, only in common area at the ground floor. Laundry room is working only during reception working hours, we didn't manage to use it. Reception is working till 19:30, we had a long trip to go at the day of arrival, there were traffic jams in Brittany that day, gps system doesn't recognize exact address, so we had to rush and it wasn't very comfortable. We arrived 19:25 and everything was fine finally. We have planned to use the hotel as a base to visit surounding part of Brittany, but we realized that it isn't easy to get out of the town, because streets and roads are narrow with roundabouts every few hundred meters.

Proximity of Beg Meil village to Concarno and Quimper. Very nice and efficient young lady receptionist/ duty manageress. The location itself was visited out of season and therefore very quiet and relaxing with restaurants within walking distance. For those who want to use the apartment kitchenette, there's a grocery store nearby for basic supplies. It's important to note that this is not a hotel per se. There are none of the typical hotel services which one would normally expect from a hotel except for the supply of bed linen and towels. Guests must bring their own soap, shampoo, shower gel etc. We were not informed about this beforehand when making the reservation. Also there is not even a basic breakfast service and unless guests are prepared to use the apartment kitchenette the only alternative is a nearby hotel restaurant.
