Located at the foot of Mont Blanc, Les Balcons d'Anaïte is just a few minutes from Chamonix Ski Resort. This residence offers free access to the fitness center, sauna and hammam. I like he conveniece location of the hotel, friendliness of the staff. It is really very basic, convenient and well equipped self catering apartment for skiers. Size of the rooms is better then in other places in France where we stayed. Did not like that there is a motorway behind the building that can be quite noisy.

Very reasonable priced residence for a skiing break in Les Houches. Supermarket nearby. Ski storage for residents very useful. Reception staff very helpful. Quite awkward to get to the slopes as the buses are infrequent and often too packed to get on.

Quiet within the hotel - room is ideal for a couple, short walk to beginners slope, bus stop right at your door step, very cosy . a fantastic, beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Staff communication was great, might I add Buses slightly noisy when slush is on the road but not enough to put me off staying, room for 4-6 is only good for a family of 4 or a couple as it is would be far too cramped otherwise. quite confusing on what to do in terms of cleaning after stay and wasnt very happy that we had to put on our own sheets after a long journey at the beginning.

Friendly hotel staff met us on arrival - and everything fell perfectly into place. The accomodation was roomy, warm, clean and had everything needed to enjoy a home from home break. The facilities included a boot room for ski equipment and gym area where a stint in a sauna or hammam was the perfect end to a day on the piste. The location was good for supermarket, fuel, ski hire and lift pass office with a sceduled bus to take us directly to the slopes each day. Well worth the experience - and it is my 3rd stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Excellent location, very nice place, cozy hotel. Besides skiing and snowboarding should be sure to try the local cheeses, red wines (white - nothing special), visit a bakery, located near City Hall, if you're lucky, go to the restaurant La Cabane. The main attraction - the French themselves, they will pleasantly surprise you. Separately, we want to thank Thierry - thanks a lot, fine dining, luxury kitchen!

Very comfortable and quite apartments. Good location, regular parking places. It has to be toilet in some bathroom, not separate. A little beat cold. The heating should be better.

Beds were so uncomfortable, I had to sleep seperate from my boyfriend, the noise kepted us all awake every night, you could never get a bus or a taxi so had to wait in the cold for over an hour, no shops near by to get basic foods from you had to walk quite a way, not near anything part from one restaurant that we were sick of. Taxi cost 50 Euros to chamonix as the buses stop early. Never again

We were 2 families, 9 persons (4 adults and 5 children) and stayed at a 12 persons apartment. It was warm and cosy, we cooked 3 times and had our breakfast everyday with warm bread and croissants. The apartment had 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 restrooms, so there was no problem sharing. It is very near the bus station and close to "Les Houches" ski resort. I recommend it for families and friends wanting to share an apartment.

Value for money and proximity to Les Houches ski field. Buses to ski fields are not very frequent and getting to and from Chamonix usually involves a taxi which is expensive.

The staff is friendly and effective. The 3-room apartment only has 2 bedrooms and 2 bunk beds in the small corridor in front of the bathroom and the toilet. Both bedrooms are located on the upper floor and there is only one toilet downstairs. The lighting and the heating in the dining room are quite poor. The residence is located quite far of the main gondola. To get there you have to use public transport or travel by car.The public transport is not well organized and is virtually nonexistent when weather conditions are bad.

It is an ideal place for walking, exploring, or just gazing up at Mont Blanc! Staff very helpful, and we have spent a holiday here for two years running. We will go again,hopefully next year.

The apartments had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this residence to anybody looking for a base around the Chamonix valley. The sauna and Hamman were great after a day out in the mountains. Great views from the balcony. Although the residence was full it was very quiet, no disturbances from neighbours. Free bus service almost on the doorstep. We will certainly stay here again and indeed are already planning next summers trip! Nothing!! Everything was just perfect!

Self-catering. Friendly staff. Value for money. Bread supplied in morning was a nice touch! Would like an oven for cooking. Very hot. Especially in area of 2 bunks. 'balcony' on street (we were on ground floor) not great!
