Breakfast was good. Very close to Gare de Lyon
They did not make our bed
Good price and location
Cleanliness is not very high. Cleaning staff not very meticulous.
-Close to train station (less than 10 mins walk), Supermarket, shops, restaurants are nearby & in the station, -The pillow is good (not too soft) to me. Some hotels' pillows are too soft, which make me neck pain in the next day, -Breakfast is fair (no eggs), -Staff is friendly
-no eggs in breakfast, may be this is the money I pay for. -The hotel itself is kind of old
Staff were helpful and nice
The bed and linen looked and felt old and worn. The internet was basic; slow, couldn't do anything but basic email retrieval.
The rooms were very well equipped and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Closeness to train station
Big table/breakfast bar between kitchen and bed was much too large & intrusive for the space. Also only 2 small coffee cups (quite unsuitable for tea etc.)
All of the above particularly the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Also close to metro
Nice apartments, reasonably priced, clean
sound proofing not enough to keep noise (from passing trains) down at night
Reasonable price, kitchenette was handy. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help even at 3 or 4 am. Called a Taxi for us too.
Toilet flush stopped working, phone in room didn't work, wifi was hit and miss, kitchen didn't have all the elements it was supposed to.
Only stayed one night. City centre is walkable but not sign posted. The apartment was basic but comfortable. Ate out so can't comment on kitchen.
Nothing we didn't like.
Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast
A little shabby room equipment and I believe that room and bathroom could be a little bit cleaner
Location and kitchen were good
Need to fix air con fan belt, and staff all vanished for a bit, quite odd
If you looking for something close the train station (400meters), that's ok.
Otherwise, you can take a room closer to the old city.
The traffic noise from the main road.
The breakfast was great compering to other hotels in France, the room was clean and friendly. The hotel is close to the big train station so it was esey getting around.
The hotel is quite far from the city center so we were depending on the metro/bus schedule.
Train track too close Building site in the car park very unsafe
Of course the price was attractive, even compared to other budget chains like Ibis. For a short stopover it makes sense.
This hotel is way past its due date. While other budget chains offer fair basic accomodation in small rooms with dignity, this one feels like an old cheap motel. The rooms are called 'studio' because they are slightly bigger and have a kitchenette. But who needs this if the room doesnt feel clean, bathroom is old and neighborhood spooky. Better spend a bit more...
everything is good
value for money
Very close to train station, staff were very helpful and always greeted with a smile!
the little kitchenette was handy the staff were v. friendly
the bed wasn't particularly comfy but it was only two nights so fine you could hear the people next door who unluckily for us, didnt go to sleep at the same time as us!
The location makes this a poor hotel.
Convenience to Lyon part dieu.
Generally in good condition by room was showing signs of wear and tear- cracked tiles in bathroom and kitchen, burn mark on counter- not the fault of the hotel as probably caused by guests, but in need of a revamp.
