This residence is located in the Eclose hamlet in Isère, in the heart of the Grandes Rousses ski area. It offers panoramic views of the Oisans Mountains. The apartments at the Résidence Maeva Les Horizons d'Huez all feature private balconies. They include fully-equipped kitchens and private bathrooms. Thanks to a nearby lift, the resort center and the ski slopes can be reached quickly and easily. The Résidence Maeva Les Horizons is 39 miles from Grenoble. Although located in a quieter area it was easy to get to the ski lifts and to the centre of town. The scenary is breathtaking. The apartment was compact but very adequate with a small balcony. There was a separate toilet and shower room which was handy if sharing with three or four people. There was also a small bedroom which meant that people could sleep if others wanted to read etc. The cooking facilities were sufficient with four electric rings plus a microwave with grill. The ski lift to take you to the slopes is a 10 minute walk (taking into account wearing ski boots).There is also a good free shuttle bus which takes you to the Bergers or Cognet area for skiing plus other amenities. There is a ski hire shop nearby (5 minutes walk) plus a good Spar and a couple of restaurants and bars. The prices here and in town were reasonable. Probably the best resort I have been to and I would return to this residence. We did not have a south facing balcony which would have been very pleasant as the weather was excellent during our stay. The apartment was not spotless (dirty skirting boards etc).You are not allowed to park in front of the residence (near reception) so unloading and loading can be time consuming if travelling by car. This was not a real issue though and would not put me off returning.

Seul point positif : amabilité du personnel d'accueil. Vieillot, usé, bruyant typique année 70/80 nécessitant une remise à neuf. Pas de prise électrique dispo dans la chambre pour mettre la chargeur de téléphone ou brancher le séchoir à cheveux. Douchette qui projetait de l'eau partout dans la salle de bain y compris sur le radiateur électrique, limite sécuritaire !! Couloirs, portes et moquette espace commun en mauvais état... Emplacement loin des pistes de ski. Bref, à fuir....

Le site Booking avait mal indiqué la situation de l'hôtel sur la carte de l'Alpe d'Huez. Au lieu d'être près des pistes, l'hôtel était très loin. L'hotel est dans un sal état. Il est vétuste, bruyant, la chambre est minuscule, il n'y a même pas de possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner, on doit parquer la voiture à 100m de l'entrée (donc difficile pour ceux qui ont beaucoup de matériel de ski) et il y a très peu de places de parking. La réception ferme très souvent.

Le studio pour 4 personnes adultes est beaucoup trop petit 1 chambre avec un grand lit (ok) un lit superposes et un lit tiroir ne sont pas fait pour deux adultes studio inadapte pour 4 adultes

Situation très calme et discrète. Propreté ,bonne situation géographique par rapport aux pistes de ski, serviabilité du personnel et bonne disposition des lieux. Doute sur la superficie de l'appartement ,pas très bonne disposition des pièces de l'appartement et surtout des lits,pas de wifi. Maeva à prélevé le montant de la location de l'appartement avant l'arrivée sur les lieux,cela est-t-il habituel ? En tout cas,en réservation hotelière,le payement ce fait à l'arrivée sur les lieux.

La situation de l'hotel par rapport aux pistes de ski Studio beaucoup trop petit pour 4 (heureusement que nous n'étions que 2!!);insuffisance des équipements de cuisine. Moquette limite en propreté;aspirateur non controlé;sac plein+++. Mauvais captage de la télévision numérique(propre à l'alpe d'huez parait-t'il??) ;local à ski mal éclairé. Etc...

Central for skiers. Short walk to lift system. Small apartment, but ok for a few days. Balcony is not really a balcony, way too small for any practical purpose. Our apt was on the backside, and never any sun there anyway.
