Friendly staff. Lots of nice restaurents in the area close to metro and louvre
The staff were brilliant , the location is fantastic, we want to go back later this year.
I suppose a better view from the windows on to the street bu that's all.
The top floor flat had great accommodation for a family of 5. Good Ikea kitchen. Cleaned daily. Lots of character. Excellent customer service. Easy to get to from the station at Les Halles (train comes from CDG airport to there) Make sure to look for the door opposite the Hotel on Rue Pelican
The stairs were not an issue, in fact they had a charm of century old steps. The tight turns mean lots of bags hit the walls so it could do with a touch up. . Did not receive a receipt when my money was taken until I emailed but it then came promptly.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The apartment is very spacious and convenient for a family.
The reception hours are limited. The apartment needed a paint job. There are only stairs to lead to the apartments; the penthouse apartment is up 5 flights of stairs.
All was very good.
Staff & Location
The apartment was easy to find, very close to the centre of Paris, had all the facilities and amenities one could possibly need and had such ambience and character with ancient beams etc. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommended !
I loved everything!
Excellent location, good value, friendly frontdesk.
Bed quality should improve. Due to stairs I do not think it is very suitable for 60+.
Location was great, M station and main shopping street is up right the corner.
Had to search side street for front door but great welcome on arrival. Very helpful. We had Penthouse, Apartment 5. Narrow enclosed circular stairs (100 exactly) to top floor - like climbing to top floor of church tower. Comfortable, over two floors, everything you need. Hairdryer in bathroom drawer. No views. If there was a fire, only exit over the roof tops 5 floors up!
Title Penthouse is misleading. Concern that only exit down 100 narrow steps. If fire on any floor below, no fire escape except if you are able to climb up onto the roof.
The front desk was so helpful!! The room was exactly what we needed for the night. Clean and great location near the metro and the Lourve!
The only downfall is the long climb up the stairs after a long day of site seeing.
Everything. Keeps you fit.
A lift would be handy, but conservation issues make it impossible
Staff is very helpful in orientating us the whereabouts on the first day.
Long flights of stairs to climb.
The flat was in a superb location near the Louvre. Heaps of excellent bars and restaurants in the area and easy walking distance to the key spots around the Louvre. The flat was spacious and well appointed - but honestly, the 5 flights of stairs were a challenge. The friendly welcome was genuine and the host could not have been more helpful.
We had heavy luggage and getting it up the 5 flights of narrow stairs was seriously hard. Honestly, without prejudice, if you are older, overweight or have any injury or disability it would be impossible - but we were on the 5th floor in the Penthouse. You would be better taking only the stuff you wanted upstairs and arranging for storage if it is a short stay. Having said that, the accommodation was v comfortable and good value for money. If you are young, fit and/or travelling light it is a good option.
Location location location. welcoming staff, clean apartment.
Hall and stairs needed painting very tatty. The hall also stunk of cigarettes. Tired apartment.
Location is very good
Cracked, chipped, dirty walls, filthy settee, chipped plates, broken cutlery, mouldy cupboard in the kitchenette, water stains on the ceiling
location is good
Central location. Well equipped apartment. Very helpful manager who went out of his way to make sure we had all the information we needed.
Great location, lots of room.
5 flights of stairs was a bit much.
Staff was very helpful and kind; location is excellent, just few minutes to Louvre and metro; quiet at night.
Apartments need refurbishment; broken glass fixed by tape; curtain need a good wash; electrical devices box full of spider webs. Very steep stairway not convenient for heavy luggage or people with reduced mobility.
Cosy appartment Excellent location
The apartment is situated within close walking distance of many of the sites in Paris. There are also lovely shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful.
Location Staff helpfulness Comfy bed Big couches
Lots of stairs no lift
1.good location. Not more than 5mins from the Louvre an the Metro station. 2.Fine receptionist. the service man is very kind and helpful.3. the urban room has a good kitchen, we buy food from the supermarket nearby to prepare delicious Chinese food.
The stair is narrow, but the receptionist helps us to carry the luggages to our rooms.
