We loved the location - the apartments were very central and we could walk everywhere.
Location, room facilities and design and very kind and helpfull staff.
Street is sometimes noisy during the night (difficult to avoid in central Paris).
What a fabulous position! Only 5 min walk to the Louvre! Our host was so helpful - carrying our heavy bags up three flights of narrow, steep stairs! Wished we could stay longer. Don't be put off by the exterior or the look of the street.
Nothing - not being able to stay longer!
Location and comfort!
+ Terrace + 2 storey + Staff - Shihab did an excellent job & aways tried to help + convenience to shopping
- stairs - for the penthouse you must understand that the stairs are not for people out of shape! - Penthouse has only one toilet
The appartment was clean, well maintained and contained everything we required.
Only downside was that there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep.
A suite on the third flor with no lift.
Everything about this place was great. The staff greeted us and made us feel like old time friends. They showed us around the neighborhood and were available to answer any question we may have had.
That we couldn't stay longer
it is the best hotel i have ever stayed, including very very nice service! I love Paris!!!
The location for getting to all main Paris sites. Restaurants outside door are excellent. The staff was so helpful. The room was well furnished an comfortable. I would stay again.
Location. Manager was friendly made sure we were happy with the apartment .
The location was excellent, only a five minute walk from the louvre. There were restaurants and shopping areas nearby. The manager was very cheerful and helpful and provided assistance with everything we asked for. The room was large and comfortable for us with two teeneagers. The room was clean and had all the apartment facilities you would need. We would definatly stay here again and for a longer stay.
The TV didnt work, there was no shower curtain and we found some old clothes in the cupboard.
Your concierge Sashib (I think in the name) was an excellent host and was most helpful in every way. He made us feel completely at home from the moment of our arrival. Everything in our apartment was as expected. It was also most generous of Sashib to offer to take our suitcases up to our rooms as this was a big task, (We had six heavy suitcases being a family of 6). Also it was really great to meet Philipe as we had communicated by emails prior to our trip and he was most helpful to ensure everything was as we planned. It was very helpful that both of the guys spoke English as our French was almost non existent. So a big thank you to everyone at Residence Pelican Paris 1er.
I must admit we were aware of the stairs but it was probably slightly more that we bargained for particularly with our suitcases. Never the less it was a small price to pay for the fabulous location and the great rooms.
The welcome we received was excellent, we were made to feel at home. The room was great, with all the technology you would need. The location was great - you could walk to all the main attractions easily.
Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Great location walking distance to louvre and train station.
Noisy bar and it could get loud at night. By 2 am it was quiet.
Excellent location- one block from the Louvre, great value for money, quirky & stylish decor, very friendly & helpful staff. The only place in 13 countries we visited that provided a washing machine/dryer!
The owner is a very nice guy who welcomed us upon our arrival. He showed us around the neighboorhood and was very kind and helpfull during the rest of our stay!
+ The apartment's manager (Shihab) was very friendly and helpful. + Location very central. + Good experience at the nearby restaurant (Cafe Blanc) which had gluten free options (after talking to the english-speaking manager) + Would stay again
- kitchen a bit cramped, if staying longer than two nights and wanted to cook
The hotel was in a very good location with great nightlife and really close to the metro station. The manager was super friendly and even kept our luggages in his office for seven hours after the checkout..we stayed in the romantic apartement which was very nice and clean.
There was no elevator and the stairs were really narrow.
Noise from a near bar
location and the apt facilities
Location, facilities and quality vs price.
The first impression at the entrance is unacceptable.
This appartment ( wouldn't use the term penthouse ) was located in a prime position. It was suitable for four people but would have be very uncomfortable for six. The manager was extremely helpful on all fronts even carrying our suitcases up the 103 stairs to our room. For a short stay we would recommend this accommodation.
Stairs... 103 of them were extremely taxing. Space was very limited for bag storage & hanging. No indoor dining area. Would hate to think what would happen if there was a fire on a lower level.
Great location. Walking distance to Lourve, Metro and RER stations. Room is spacious. Beds are quite comfy.
Soundproof is poor. You can literally hear every sound down in the alley and inside the building. Not fit for light sleepers.
I actually did not feel safe in the property. There was no one on site from 6pm until 11am each day. The flats are based above a busy bar, and it is very noisy. People were coming in and out of the appartment building until 4am. The bathroom above our appartment also flooded our appartment, and damaged items of clothing. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.
