Staff was very kind in everything, even in explaining me one thing I didn't undestand about room condition price
The bathroom is quite little.
Overall the facilities were excellent, the staff were very attentive and the location perfect.
Receptions staff wery opened and kind. SPA very well organized and staffed. Rooms are very confortable, clean and equipped. Hotel is placed in a very strategical area in order to walk in a few minutes everywhere in the city and meantime drive out as well.
A lot of customers come from Italy and a more deeply Italian language knowledge coudl help in order to avoid musunderstandings. 20€ a night for parking lot seems a bit exagerate as well as breakfast is too much expansive compared to the offered meal......
The friendly staff (we checked in boxing day, but front of house still had plenty of humour) comfy, clean room
We couldn't order drinks at anytime of the day, i.e. the afternoon
Staff and cleanliness
Breakfast was not included
People are friendly, the SPA is nice. The location is just in front of the sea. 10 minutes walk to the Old City.
Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant could be better.
Modern room, very nice hotel, good parking, Fantastic bathroom, great shower!!!
I booked a double bed, i got two singles pushed together, very hard mattress and uncomfortable with the join, bad nights sleep! the staff member that checked me out did not ask anything about my stay! The walls of the room, were very dirty. No food available!
Breakfast is not good
Everything was excellent! Facilities of the apartment are great. A lot of space, everything is modern. Fantastic terrace with sea view. Professional staff that never disturbing. Undergroung parking is very comfortable. Location is great with lovely restaurants around. One of the best hotel we stayed in, and we are experienced travellers.
please think about changing shampoo, shower gel, etc. The problem is to open them. They are sealed with alluminium that you cannot open at all neither with fingers or with teeth)). When you are already in the shower, it is very uncomfortable to get out, searching for scissors, knife, etc - to open it. we were very disspointed that our child less that 16 years could not enjoy jacussi, as it is not allowed and is just for adults
- very good staff - speaking english :-) - small but nice spa - sauna, steambath and whirpool, only 4 beds - deep tissue massage - outstanding
We had a room on top (5-th floor) - there was a noise from the roof aircon unit and elevator machine room
Friendly, helpful staff Clean well presented rooms The breakfast was amazing...make sure you order the eggs Benedict Private underground parking is helpful
The seaview rooms cost double those of the classic rooms. This is just too much.
Very nice hotel direct in front of the ocean with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the wellness, sauna and jacuzzi, because it was raining for one day. The food in the resaturant is excellent, from a top italien chef! I would like to come back in the summertime. Overall a very good place, to be recommended !
After the sauna at ca. 17.00 we were hungry and wanted a club sandwich from the restaurant. Although the restaurant was oben for drinks, nobody was in the kitchen. We could not get anything to eat, in a 4-star Hotel ! We had to go to a bakery nearby to buy a sandwich! This is not 4-star-service.
I've stayed at the Royal a number of times, and this time we stayed in the delux room which is very spacious and comfortable. The bed was great (I'd specifically asked for one that doesn't have two mattresses pushed together, as I had had this a few times before at this hotel), the bathroom was massive with a great big tub, it had a very well sized terrace, the staff are lovely and very nice to deal with, and they do a great eggs bene at the cafe downstairs.
Cellphone reception at the hotel is not great at all. Dependant on your room I suppose, but often I've had to go to the ground floor to get any bars.
Location - close to private beach & walking distance to heart of Antibes Design - a big plus (!) contemporary, functional
Fitness and spa accessible only till 7pm - inaccessible for duty travellers Guests in rooms close to elevator shaft may complain about constant buzz
The hotel was spotless, our room beautiful, the food excellent and a perfect location! I would highly recommend this hotel.
Easy access to Antibes old town.
The hotel felt a bit impersonal.
Location was excellent. Could have been better if not so expensive to sit on the beach.
Cost of a spot on the private beach
Hotel is well located to walk the town and the waterfront. Good but expensive parking underneath. Kitchen is good for stay at home meals with good grocery stores with prepared food and decent wine a few blocks away.
It is a hotel for hot weather but the marble floors are too cold when the weather gets chilly. Rather "down" or listless atmosphere as they wound up the season. The refrigerator smelled unclean/mouldy. No view of water despite the expense. Knowing that you had a Booking.com kind of price they looked down on you it seemed and put you in the cheap seats in a luxury hotel going to sleep for 8 months.
A very smart hotel, one of the best in the Antibes area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, it's easy to get around from the hotel and was lovely to go for a walk along the beach before cocktail at the bar.
That I had to leave.
rather corporate and bland feel to the hotel
Antibe's old town can easily be reached by foot, very good location. Modern rooms with a very large bed. Spa area was clean and nicely decorated, very relaxing!
Overall the hotel is on the expensive side. Breakfast, parking fee, etc. are not included and pretty high.
This is probably the best hotel in local but it is overpriced.
It was average
The beach bar was closed despite it being a sunny day and 2 staff just stood at the bar and refused to serve me. The hotel images on the website show a hot tub on the roof terrace. This is in a private room and not available to the public! Felt totally conned. Our expensive room faced a large brick wall so we had absolutely no view and little sunlight. Certainly wouldn't stay here again.
Staff very friendly. Location in Antibes Very clean room and room size was also very good.
No kettle in the room WiFi was slow. Cost of breakfast-I ate elsewhere.
Excellent location, excellent staff, good but small spa. Great nights sleep.
