Location is ideal if you are looking for a self-catering quiet ski-ing or summer rural location. Great swimming pool, useful underground parking and had a super up to date piped film selection in multiple languages. Very quiet in evening and during night. Very close to lift. Dishwasher in kitchen. Separate learner ski-jng area not far away for children. Reception staff helpful and efficient with warm welcome and gave a short tour of the facility and showed us to our appartement. Heated ski-ing lockers. Ski rental shop on premises helps save time,

Not for you want nightlife or a variety of restaurants, only 3 in the village unless you are happy to drive to Argentiere approx. 12 mins away or self cater and spend nights in.

very good facilities, friendly atmosphere and staff, like the smell around the building. good location for skiers - the lift really near the hotel. garage for the car is convenient.

the location if the nearest shop is quite far from the hotel. the shuttles coming to other villages only once per hour. if go by car in winter definitely need to take the chains.

The very firm beds. There was no way to get an extras mattress to make it softer. The road side noise. Choose a room that faces the mountain, not the road.

Our room wasn't ready at bookin time and we had to wait an hour to be booked in!

Excellent facilities, including ice rink, swimming pool, wi-fi, covered car park, eco-friendly environment, easy access to rent skis, close to ski slopes. Slopes not busy.

Not enough eating places The railway station was not open this year.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Nice view, quiet in the rooms, free gym, swimming pool, sauna; SPA right in the hotel, etc.

Bad mattress was a bit too stiff, but I guess it is a matter of preference.

We stayed here over New Year and had a fabulous time. Great location just opposite the lift to the slopes. We had great fun at the ice rink which was just outside our apartment and the spa is beautiful! I had the Balinese Massage which was simply divine; such a treat after a long day on the slopes. The pool was also great although a little chilly. The ski hire shop was very friendly, good value and good standard equipment. The team behind reception are very friendly and so helpful and the bakery was also nice for breakfast items although take away was very limited.

The apartment was beautifully decorated; the size was okay but it really lacked storage space. We were a family of two adults and two children and had just one very small single wardrobe and one chest of drawers for all four. If we were to return we would opt for a two bedroom apartment and would certainly only recommend the 1 bedroom apartment for two adults with children; not four adults. I would warn however of the security. Guests are requested to leave shoes on a rack at the entrance of the pool and on our first visit my husband had his shoes stolen! In addition there are signs everywhere stating that swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted. We therefore purchased swimming suits from the ski shop for husband and son at over €40 only to find that this rule was not enforced at all and that almost all other guests had swimming shorts or Bermuda’s! The only thing this place lacks is a restaurant. Whilst the kitchens in the apartment are very nice they only have a hob and a microwave so what you can cook is limited in addition to the fact that the village only has one very small shop so you are forced to eat out most nights. However there are only three restaurants in the entire village and so limited choice and quite difficult to secure a reservation. It just feels like the residence is missing a massive, revenue generating opportunity by not having a restaurant and it would certainly make staying here again a more attractive proposition as the lack of restaurant choice is the only reason we may not return to Vallorcine.

No restaurant available, was a problem on a Sunday night when nothing was open. Small shop was opened especialy for us, so we could purchase some pasta to cook in our room.

Loved everything. Swimming pool and sauna fab. Staff so nice. Room beautiful. Just be aware this residence does not have bar or restaurant. Beautiful place, where the cows wear bells.

Great apartment for a family holiday - well equipped and spacious. The location is quiet and peaceful, but its easy to get down the chamonix valley for shops etc on the free buses/trains. Within 2 minutes are 2 small cafes and a little shop. The staff spoke fluent english and provided good instructions for our late arrival. It was great value for money out of main season (late June) and the only downside of coming at this time is that the lift from Vallorcine doesnt run until early July.

Overall not really any complaints although being picky the fact that it didnt have an oven (but instead had a microwave/grill) was a little annoying. Also the pool was a little cool for our 1 year old

Security deposit quite steep although they did accept an impression of your credit card so as not to use up available holiday cash.

First time ever to be asked for a 500 Euro bond in case of damage. Getting from reception side of the building to our apartment proved to be somewhat of a trip

Great place, indescribable mountain beauty. All the facilities you'd expect from a 5 star plus the fact the staff is very very caring and ready to help. The apartments are awesome, top of the line utilities, full kitchen, etc. indoor pool simply a charm overlooking the mountains with style. This place deserve its stars. Would we go back? yes for sure, as much as possible!!!

Excellent facilities for a small party of skiers and non-skiers. Spa and swimming pool are very good.
