We stayed in the superior room, it had all that we needed and more!
The staff were delightful and extremely helpful. They made our stay perfect. Bathroom and kitchen were generous and finished beautifully. Villa d'elsa was highlight for us.
Apartment was a little small which made accessing the balcony difficult however, we managed and the balcony was a super place to dine and drink which was a real bonus.
Hotel very central (in the movida) and yet very quiet inside.
separate kitchen and dining area. friendly staff.
Great front desk staff Beautiful accommodation Close to everything
Parking facility hassles
I liked the kindness of the staff, the position of the hotel -right in the center-, the peace and quiet in the hotel, the balcony and the furniture. I recommend this hotel because we felt home and the position was incomparable
The location was very central close to the train station. The facilities were very good and enjoyed coffee making facilities.
Fabulous room with top notch facilities and decor, very handy for beach, restaurants, shops, train station ( easy access to the rest of the Côte d'Azur) only 5minutes walk
Very noisy at night, usually until about 3 am: surrounded by restaurants / street cafés with street entertainers until about midnight, then loud music from nearby nightclubs.
On a street with great restaurants, and atmosphere
we can recommend this villa for several resons:very friendly personal (thank you, Jessica and Ameli),central location near to beach and bars, shops, althought quite place with charming balcony...we want to back one day! Ken and Lena
great staff, called us that day to now where are we and do we need any help in finding the place. They send us information prior, booked parking for us nearby (reasonable price). from rooms overlooking street you can hear noises and lights might disturb at night. All the bests restaurants in Juan les Pins are on that street. Just 20 min walk to Antibes. Casino supermarket around the corner and some bakeries for breakfast.
Cleaning was average, sand on the floor all the time. Kitchen was small, nice for breakfast or a quick snack but not for normal cooking. Room was small.
Firstly, if you are still considering booking with the Hotel Villa d'Elsa, then understand that (a) there are no beds in standard rooms, but a sofabed (which is extremely uncomfortable, contrary to the lady on reception's statement), (b) the room we stayed in was dirty, small, and by far the poorest accomodation out of the 8 locations we stayed at, during our holiday in France and Spain. When I went to ask the receptionist why there was no bed, she immediately responded by saying 'it's all in the fine print' suggesting we are not the first to get hoodwinked. In addition, there was a number of drunk guys hanging out by the front door when we tried to get in late at night, with broken glass on the floor where we were entering the building. After one night there, I booked us into another Hotel, despite tyhe fact Hotel d'Elsa were (1) without apology or interest, and (2) insisted on us paying the full amount of our stay (its in the contract). when we checked out early, no-one asked why we were doing so, but just seemingly accepted we were another dissatisfied customer. It gives me no pleasure whatsoever in writing this review, but felt it important that noone else has the misfortune to spend their hard-earned cash on such a dissapointing accomodation.
staff were very friendly and helpful great location very safe and secure
sofa bed having to sign in to wifi constantly
good location as very central
we unfortunatley had a room that obviously needs updating-the other rooms were in better decorative order. The bathroom had a loose loo seat and the tap was wobbly. The pull down bed was a bit hard and also needed 2 people to pull it down and put back up as v heavy. the sofa bed was very comforatble.Good white linen sheets but bath towels seen better days. The road was lively but with windows closed and Air Con on you didnt hera it.very close to the beach and also bus stops and the Juan les pins jazz festival
I like French atmosphere at this hotel
The apartment is in the middle of the restaurant /bar area with the beach and town in easy reach, the double glazing blocked out any noise from the pedestrianized road below.( we were on the first floor). The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom of a very good standard with first class and generous complimentary toiletries. The reception and housekeeping service were also very efficient.
The staff , especially Amilie, could not do enough to help, even with non standard issues. Always warm, friendly and courteous, a real credit to the business.
The noise from the restaurants below was a little intrusive, but nothing to complain about and it did not go on too late.
This hotel was exactly what I expected. It was charming. The breakfast offered a good assortment. Also breakfast room was nicely decorated & you could enjoy dining at a table in the patio garden.
Bathroom shower was small.
The lady on reception was so so so helpful, she couldn't have possibly been any more attentive. Great customer service and lovely apartment.
location, staff, near the railway station, restaurants nearby, room (duplex superior) is awesome with well equipped kitchen. Excellent place to stay.
restaurants nearby (bit noisy) although overall noise isolation is good, bathroom is quite small and without any proper place to put your things. Only minor issues.
I liked the location. They were super nice and graceful.
The hotel room was located on a lower floor it is also located in a no drive thru street so u have to drag your luggage to the nearest corner. The apt/room sits above restaurants so your room smells like food. I had a huge cockroach in my apt prob from restaurant. If you open the window you hear restaurant noise all day and night long and no privacy because everyone can look into your window.
Excellent position for convenience. Rooms modern and well equipped.
Some street noise from restaurants opposite and bin collections early morning. WiFi cuts out if not in constant use. Need a different password for every device.
Wonderful place! I would recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Juan-les-Pins.
I really don't have any complaints about the hotel, everything was great. The only little detail that irritated us, was the fact that only one unit at a time could log on to the wi-fi. Travelling with two smart phones and an iPad, it would be ok to connect more than one unit at a time.
The two staff we met at reception are first class. The space in the appartment is excellent,we were three people, and it was very good. The kitchen is well appointed,we did not cook, but everything is there if you want to.The breakfast is great,a little more than the cost outside, but much better than any other we tried. The parking arrangements are first class, close.and not too expensive. The rooms are quiet and comfortable,we would certainly go again, and reccomend to others.Thank you.
