Toilet a little smelly
Location was good, room was fair size bed ok, staff fairly helpful at a push.
breakfast was rubbish, I paid 7euros, for what amounted to one hard roll and a coffe, ,, smallest lift in the world, cramped reception area, night staff no English.
I liked that the location was very close to the metro station and was reasonably priced for being in that area. I also liked the view from my room and the small balcony that overlooked the roundabout. Although the room was small, it mostly met my needs.
I was happy in the room until nighttime. there were mice (at least I hope they weren't rats!) running through what sounded like the wall. It reminded me of my crappy apartment in college, but I wasn't paying 99 euros a night then! I ended up turning the light on and sleeping with it on which seemed to quiet them down, but it was still very difficult. I only had one night there and had to get up early in the morning for a flight, so I didn't want to bother with the reception. I didn't know what they would do anyway. Maybe the problem will be fixed by the time you stay there!
Nothing, even the first feeling entering to the Hotel was poor.
Inside the Hotel the corridor is terribly looking, even though in the rooms it seems that they have been renovated recently. The overall feeling is like staying in a youth hostel. The most worse thing was, that in a bed, there were little insects! And I felt, that they were aware about that, but they just waited that someone will notice it, and be scared! So, I had to change my room in a middle of the night. The receptionist was not able to talk anything else, than French, no English at all. I supposed to stay in Hipotel 4 nights, but I left after the first night. They gave the money back to me, without any problem.
Perfect location, next to a metro station, taxi and a supermarket, 0-24 h reception, kind recepcionists (most of them speak english), reasonable price, clean rooms.
Small elevator (2 persons only) so you have to wait for it sometimes, bad breakfest, really not worth 7 euros.
Close to subway and food
Street noise , no fridge
- location - room with balcony - clean and tidy
- pay for the wifi
Lovely staff, room was good size, very comfortable bed and location right next to Voltaire Metro station.
Bathroom needs refurbishing! It's also a bit difficult to travel from Voltaire station - this metro line won't take you to the tourist centre of the city with all the main attractions.
1. elevator is small (1 persons) 2.it is dirty. 3.The hotel or device is veri old and bad 4.breakfast is very poor 5.there are meny louse, insect in the bedroom, 6. the room is dark
Very convenient situation, but newer visitors to Paris may prefer to be more central. I found the area very interesting to explore. I had a balcony which was great. Parking was easy. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would certainly go back.
The wifi signal was weak on the 4th floor.
-location wasn't too bad -comfortable bed -cheap
-staff's English was poor -heating wasn't working -shower flooded due to hole in the bottom -noisy from traffic outside -constant noise coming from the pipes in the rooms
The Location just outside the stop of metro line
The shower orribile. The room was very dirty, too small, the beds were to small too. The entire hotel smells like a cheese
- Location: 20 meters from Metro entrance (Voltaire) - 7 euro for brekfast - nice, english speaking personel
- Yelow stains on toilet (after cleaning!) - flor after flooding - there was large gaps between flor panels in 304 room - noisy - claustrofobic lift for 2 persons - tree stars in egpitian standard.
close to the metro station
Bugs one person at the reception is not polite
Excellent localisation, metro station just at the door of the hotel, besides it takes 20 minutes to get to Louvre on foot! Boulevard Voltaire and surroundings are full of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Room was cleaned everyday, towels changed regularly. Staff was friendly and helpful, not all of its members speak English fluently, though. There is a lift in the building.
Breakfast not included (you can buy breakfast for extra money which is quite a lot when counting it all), very loudly slamming door.
I was bite by animal in the bed!!!
Just Location was good
staff welcome was bad and the hotel is not comfortable ...
The personnel was available at all time and very kind. It has a very good quality/price ratio.
The area is a little noisy at night but i did't mind it. It could be a little more clean.
In front of a metro station
- Dirtiness of common areas - Stairs very often blocked by dirty sheets and towels in bags, cleaning tools/material (very unsafe!) - Internet not working even when you pay for it - Small, slow, ancient elevator
Friendly staff, able to keep our luggage after check out without any fees (unlike many hotels), good location (metro station right outside the hotel, walking distance to many other metro lines so every major Paris attraction is very accessible)
Poor facilities. No air conditioning, noisy doors, noisy streets amplified by the need to open your windows for ventilation, small room, smelly toilet, no proper ventilation in the toilet, no proper drainage system in the toilet, dim lighting, lack of proper curtains therefore, lack of privacy because the windows can't be covered properly. Wouldn't matter anyway because you have to open the windows due to a lack of ventilation and air conditioning. Overall, not worth the price. Pay a little more and get yourself a better room
the staff is helpful, the rest NO.
the size of the room extremely small, Not clean room, noisy (you feel yourself living in the street), extremely narrow corridors like a prison, very hot and no AC nor fan, brown stains in the kettle which is catastrophe to think about it, i am surprised how this hotel can be ranked as 3 stars????????
Location is truly the only thing about this hostel. The people at the front desk are very attentive and friendly. Beware French-speaking only!
The lighting of the room is not good, and the size of a two double bed room is really small and cramped. It would have been adequate if it was two single beds.
Unbelievably the hotel is graded as 3 stars! I have stayed in better 1 to 2 star hotels. Even by Paris standards the rooms are tiny, or family room was a single room with 2 double beds squeezed in. No aircon, shower flooded, lift only worked occasionaly.
