Very convenient situation, but newer visitors to Paris may prefer to be more central. I found the area very interesting to explore. I had a balcony which was great. Parking was easy. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would certainly go back.

The wifi signal was weak on the 4th floor.

Excellent localisation, metro station just at the door of the hotel, besides it takes 20 minutes to get to Louvre on foot! Boulevard Voltaire and surroundings are full of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Room was cleaned everyday, towels changed regularly. Staff was friendly and helpful, not all of its members speak English fluently, though. There is a lift in the building.

Breakfast not included (you can buy breakfast for extra money which is quite a lot when counting it all), very loudly slamming door.

The personnel was available at all time and very kind. It has a very good quality/price ratio.

The area is a little noisy at night but i did't mind it. It could be a little more clean.

In front of a metro station

    - Dirtiness of common areas - Stairs very often blocked by dirty sheets and towels in bags, cleaning tools/material (very unsafe!) - Internet not working even when you pay for it - Small, slow, ancient elevator

Friendly staff, able to keep our luggage after check out without any fees (unlike many hotels), good location (metro station right outside the hotel, walking distance to many other metro lines so every major Paris attraction is very accessible)

Poor facilities. No air conditioning, noisy doors, noisy streets amplified by the need to open your windows for ventilation, small room, smelly toilet, no proper ventilation in the toilet, no proper drainage system in the toilet, dim lighting, lack of proper curtains therefore, lack of privacy because the windows can't be covered properly. Wouldn't matter anyway because you have to open the windows due to a lack of ventilation and air conditioning. Overall, not worth the price. Pay a little more and get yourself a better room

the staff is helpful, the rest NO.

the size of the room extremely small, Not clean room, noisy (you feel yourself living in the street), extremely narrow corridors like a prison, very hot and no AC nor fan, brown stains in the kettle which is catastrophe to think about it, i am surprised how this hotel can be ranked as 3 stars????????

Location is truly the only thing about this hostel. The people at the front desk are very attentive and friendly. Beware French-speaking only!

The lighting of the room is not good, and the size of a two double bed room is really small and cramped. It would have been adequate if it was two single beds.

Unbelievably the hotel is graded as 3 stars! I have stayed in better 1 to 2 star hotels. Even by Paris standards the rooms are tiny, or family room was a single room with 2 double beds squeezed in. No aircon, shower flooded, lift only worked occasionaly.

    The location

    - The shower - Having to shave in the dark - The dust, the noise - Cannot use door without making a lot of noise. - The one person size lift. - No air condition - No fruits at breakfirst (ie. banana)

Breakfast was a good deal for Paris.

Internet costs money and it was poor and kept quitting! Man at desk was rude at first but when we spoke French to him he became more friendly.

Location Volataire metro station is just a few steps from the hotel entrance. And bus stop is 1 min walking from the hotel, by bus you can reach Bastille in less than 10 mins. Bastille is around 20 mins walking from the hotel and Chatelet 30 mins walking.

Proximity to the metro is excellent. It was basic but clean and comfortable, the water was hot in the shower. The room I had on 6th floor was light and very quiet. All round good value for the price. I would stay there again.

Minor comment, the floor in the bathroom had loose tiles, but wasn't a problem.

Good location, right next to Voltaire metro station. Some of the staff is friendly.

The room wasn't completely made when I arrived (which was after 8pm), pillows where on the ground. There was an awful smell coming out of the bathroom. The room wasn't very clean. The TV had no signal so couldn't really watch anything. It was way too expensive for what it is!

Although it seems to be far from the centre, the hotel is right in front of the entrance to the Metro, which is very convenient. The room was cleaned well every day. The breakfast was also good and, by the way, cheaper than in cafes or other hotels. Many of my friends travelled at the same time and stayed at other hotels/hostels, but non of those places were THAT good!:)
