The staff tries to help.

Communication between staff members needs to be improved. Our reservation was misfiled. No one told us when the reservation was found, and we continued to think that we were going to be double billed. Cleanliness of the dishes in the kitchen was an issue. Heating did not work properly.

The reception staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was also in a good location, across from the promenade.

We booked an apartment style room however there were not enough dishes, no washing liquid to clean the dishes, nor a tea towel to dry them. In the other room I booked, there was no kettle. When we rang to get one, we were told that house keeping was closed and we would have to wait until the next day. The rooms should be fully stocked to cater for your customers.

The location.

The room was so dirty on the floor and on the windows to the balkon. We had a little baby with us and he was so dirty from crawling on the floor. His hands and knees was black from dirt. We asked twice for a floor wash and it didn't happend. The rest of the hotel was also in general dirty.

The situation was excellent with a balcony view over the promenade. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a very good kitchen area comprising a large fridge and dining table. A 4 ring cooker would be a great improvement for people who wish to cook and not eat out every evening. Our apartment had a 2ring cooker. We made our own simple breakfast every day and dinner some evenings. The location is excellent, 1.5km from the old town and a regular bus service. The walk into town, however, is along the promenade and beautiful. I would recommend the Excellior and I would return.

The apartment was for 4 persons so it could be improved by providing a 4 ring cooker.

Parking was a logistical problem - there should be instructions on the confirm

The staff are friendly and very helpful. Provide useful informations on the what's available in and around the hotel. Very convenient location for supermarket shopping, cafes and food outlets.The housekeeping keeps the room clean. Generous balcony area even for a double room. Free wi fi anywhere in the hotel and good speed too! Will definitely stay there again in the future. Keep it up!

Price and Location. Good for those looking for a place to sleep, spending most part of the time outside. Fantastic view of the beach.

Renovation required.

Helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Hot water always available.Near to small supermarket. Good access to the beach. Good balcony with seaview. Good size bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space.

Washbasin and bath plugs were unservicable. Electric power point hanging off the wall in the bathroom. All above repaired within 24 hrs. Sofa beds in lounge were not used by us as beds but were uncomfortable and unsightly as sofas. Covers on 2 seperate chairs needed cleaning. Kitchen area poorly designed. Microwave located too high for use by average height lady. Extra cupboard needed for food storage. Draining board and washing-up bowl required if not using dishwasher. Plenty of room in lounge area for extended kitchen suggestions.

Nothing! Mold on walls, a/c barely worked, horrible front desk. Would not recommend!!! Thought it's close to the airport and had shuttle, but no and no. Had to pay $50 for 10 min taxi. Would rather had spent extra and be closer to main city!!! Well, being on Promenade, it does have a pretty view if you are in a sea view room!

Good location facing sea.

Didn't like noise of traffic which distracted from otherwise excellent view.

The views and the staff were very nice and helpful. It is a quieter area of Nice.

Thought it was a bit far from the old town and the shopping. Nowhere to eat near to the hotel. Taxis were quite expensive. I would only recommend the hotel of someone wanted a quieter area of the city.

I liked the information provided by the hotel information desk, to help us discover the area. We needed help with the protocal for parking, driving routes, trips to the nearby site seeing locations etc. It was a clean facility, with staff able to help with any issues causing trouble. Facility was kept clean, but it looked like more extensive renovations/updates could be done.

The only negative was that we paid for a large appt with a sea view, premium square footage, only to have our two kids have trouble sleeping on the hard, second and third sofa beds. This was in an appt meant to have up to 6 people!! It was in a good location for an area that was new to us, next time we will know that we would prefer to be closer to the more lively end of the Promenade be Anglais.
