Excellent location, very friendly staff, attractive and comfortable room. It has recently been completely renovated and the staff are very anxious that the 'new' hotel is as good if not better than the 'old one'.

Newly renovated in April 2012 it is an amazing hotel in excellent quiet location. Just 5 minutes walk from a metro station and Champs Elysees. Very friendly end helpful staff, comfortable and beautifully designed rooms, flat screen tv, free Wi-Fi, very well equipped bathroom (hairdryer, towel dryer, rain shower and bathtub), beautiful and cozy lighting. We enjoyed every second being there. Beautiful hotel. Very highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful and they spoke english. They were prompt in calling for a taxi when needed. Breakfast was good- offering boiled eggs ( soft or hard ) good quality croissants and other rolls, variety fruit jam, cold cut meat assortment, coffee or tea, fresh fruits, fruit compote, yogurt, prunes. When I asked the if it's a safe location- they staff on duty replied- there are 12 embassies around... this is in a residential area. 5 min walk to Metro and good restaurants nearby. It was only my husband and I travelling but we got a room for 4 (knowing that the rooms are usually small). Felt like home away from home. The only thing i can think of is for them to vary the variety of cold cut meats offered every breakfast.

This beautiful hotel really made Paris special. After a previous accommodation disappointment in another area of Paris, we chose to book in here....and our reward was to find such a pleasant and truly professional hotel whose staff actually cared about us, were very hospitable and very kind. As well, the hotel is value for money, elegant and comfortable. It's ambiance is warm and creates a relaxing feel. After only one night we regretted that we had no more time, but we have decided to return to Residence Foch in the spring 2012..thank you to the staff. Highly recommended...

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room size was large considering it is in Paris. The hotel is located nicely with a bus stop and metro nearby. It is also in close proximity to fine restaurants and shopping. We particularly enjoyed sitting on balcony in the evenings. We do, however, have two complaints. First, the room we were given is located so that the occupant must traverse three flights of stairs in order to reach the door. Second, this room has no proper shower. It has a detachable shower nozzle located near the faucet, but there is no curtain or nozzle located where a person could stand and shower. The hotel photos show rooms with showers, however, ours did not have one. This was above all, the biggest inconvenience of any hotel on our trip.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, although a bit small. However, the bathroom was large. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a good variety of foods: soft boiled eggs, cereal, rolls, yogurt, cheese, meat, coffee, juice, etc. Great location in that it was only 10 mins. From restaurants and metro, mins. From Avenues Des Champs D'Elysee. The hotel was in a very safe neighborhood. We had a great stay there and would recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Paris. The twin room was rather small.

It was quaint in a nice quiet safe neighborhood with residences across the street - beautiful area and close to the Porte Maillot Metro. I walked around the neighboring area and it was a nice neighborhood with young couples and families and not very "touristy". The hotel staff were fabulous - and really helped me out when I had an issue with my credit card not being accepted for the ride from the airport - since it was my first time in Paris - extremely kind and understanding. It is far away from the heart of the city and you need to understand the metro to get around. At night there were people pounding on the door to be let in for a long while - and loud with the windows open.

All of the staff were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. The family room was spacious for a Paris hotel. Although an older hotel, it was quite charming and pretty. It was in a nice quiet residential area, 15 minutes walk from the busy areas of Paris. My kids loved it, and loved the continental breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it.

The staff at Residence Foch were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the first moment and this feeling continued to our departure. The location is excellent with lots of dining and shopping close by but not too close to the "touristy" areas. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Hotel with friendly staff, located in a convenient position for Arc De Triomphe and Eifffel Tower. Had a lift and good sized bedrooms. Linen and towels were clean, and overall experience was very pleasant. I felt breakfast was slightly overpriced for what was on offer. We found quite a few local places with a better range and for less cost.

The location is great about 10-15min walk to the eiffel or the arch de triomphe. The family room was very small compared to others we have stayed at in europe and they made a very large fuss about the noise my children made from walking back and forth on the floor.

We stayed two nights in the hotel with our three children (one in the babycot). The best thing about the hotel is the character the hotel has, very nicely decorated. And also the very friendly staff. The location was perfect. One tip: bring scooters (or in Dutch they are called steps) for the children, then you are at the Eiffel Tower in less than 15 min! We pretty much walked everywhere. The price of the breakfast, they don't have a special children's rate. We have a 1, 5 and 7 year old, and had to pay for four adults, total 52 euros. We said this was a bit too much (the one year old hardly at anything) and then they took off one adult (so 3 * 13 euros). This is still 39 euros, which is more than we spent when we all have lunch in the city. The second day we went to a ' boulangerie' where we bought croissants, and had a some coffees at a brasserie, this is so much more economical.

The hotel staff was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room that I stayed in with my friend was quite small (two twins) but it was comfortable and the bathroom was a half decent size. The rooms were very clean and the view was lovely. I would recommend this hotel for it's location (if you don't mind walking 10-15 minutes every morning - which we did not mind at all) and the lovely staff!

Staff were very helpful, in every way. Breakfast was excellent, if expensive (although it's Paris, so perhaps not). Comfortable bed, clean room, nicely decorated, air conditioning a plus since it was in the 90s two days we were there..Location was pleasant, in a mainly residential neighborhood with easy access to the metro. Free WiFi a big plus. Very small room, not enough room for luggage.

Very nice, very clean, well maintained hotel. Staff very accommodating. It was very quiet when we stayed. The rooms are small but not cramped (we were a party of two). Bathroom nice sized for a small room. Hello, it's Paris, so expect small rooms. If you are here for visiting/seeing the sights, you will not be in room much anyway. No complaints at all. Great location to the Eiffel Tower and L'Arc de Triumphe. Easy walk. Easy access to metro. Metro is easy, easy to understand for those traveling; just need to take a little time to study the lines for destination, etc. Buy a 2-5 day pass and you are minutes from everything. Easy access to shuttle service to airport (5-10 minute walk, tops) which is located right by shopping center. Nice restaurants in the area as well; farmers market set up around corner on Sat. A.M. The first two days in France, we stayed in hotel on outskirts of Paris twice the price; were not impressed. I wanted to meet my daughter, who was traveling with a student delegation, at Disney for a day and was uncertain of metro; hence, we stayed close to Disney (not a Disney resort). We wish we would have chosen Residence Foch for the entire trip. You should be pleased with this hotel!!!
