Paying for wifi and paying for parking. Poor tv channel choices
The location, Nice swimmingpool.
We had specifically asked for a room that was not on the groundfloor and as we contacted the hotel, we were told that they would take care of that and that it was no problem. It was also written in our special request. However, when we came late in the evening we found out that we had a room on the groundfloor. Dark and with a poor view. Next day we talked to the manager who offered us to change room, but only if we paid 55 euros for cleaning. We did not find that very fair.
Nice pool area, apartments tastefully furnished.
Expensive, apartments are really very tiny & although cleaning pack given no complimentary tea/coffee, not even any spare toilet roll.
It was great stay. Apartment is located in centre of Chamonix - close to central station, to city center and also to cable cars, few minutes away there is Carrefour market. Apartment for 6 people has two separate bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two single beds, in living room there is double couch). We have two bathrooms (one with shower and second with bathtub). Living room with kitchenette, was very well equipped. We have everything we need for one week stay.
We asked for parking but we haven't got response, so we have to park car somewhere in the city. Wifi was quite poor.
Excellent location in the city centre. Kind and willing to help staff (but helpless, unable to solve a problem - it took more than two days to fix the internet despite they want to, and made efforts for this, including a technician). The public parking nearby (very close) is free from 7 PM to 9 AM. Overall conclusion - acceptable, but see the "minus" in red.
I was in a 2 bedrooms apartment. The bedrooms are so small, hardly you can get out of the bed, if you open the door of the dishwasher there is no room left in the kitchen, no room for luggage etc. My apartment was facing the main road - very noisy. The free internet is slow. Partial views of the mountains from most of the apartments. If you can afford a larger apartment, look for another hotel.
Well-equipped kitchen, complete set of cutleries, and plates and bowls. Excellent view of the snow-capped mountains. Very helpful staff who made special arrangement for our check-in and check-out after counter was closed. Near to supermarket amd restaurants.
Pans were too scratched, not safe to cook with. There was only 1 toilet for an apartment for 6 people.
Close to bike rental shops to do the famous Alp d'Huez climb
Big and comfort
Still using wired Internet
Location near to train station. Hotel set up feel like sweet home.
Wifi very slow.
It was great
Great location in the middle of Chamonix. Stayed there out of season and got a fantastic deal on the apartment.
Very central location with friendly staff.
Would be nice if the pool would close later.
The hotel is located conveniently close to access roads, the station and the city centre. The big plusses are the swimming pool and sauna facilities.
The pictures show the nicely furnished lobby. However, the apartment is not that luxury and feels a bit small. I would not advice to stay with 6 people in the 6-person apartment. The skilift is a serious uphill hike away.
1. Great location, right in centre of town. 2. Great facilities, sauna, steam room, pool, gym 3. Great price - room was smaller than picture suggested but really nice and well laid out with everything you could need
1. Staff not helpful - the room was not ready until the afternoon, staff refused to let us leave bags in the room even though it was empty, no where safe to leave the bags so had to drive to friends house to leave them there while we went skiing. 2. The 'welcome pack' consisted of cleaning products, not tea or coffee 3. When checking out we were asked to clean our kitchen and take the rubbish out before we could check out.
Ideal location Spa facilities Quality feel of accommodation
Ski boot dryers would be the only thing I'd suggest as an improvement.
Location was really good, the pool was also really nice as was the fitness room.
Had to get a different room as the pull out couch was too large for the room and couldn't be used. The internet was expensive and was not working at all for 3 days and never worked as promised, we got the family plan and couldn't connect more than a single device at once and VPN service was also promised and we were never able to connect. I've stayed in other Pierre & Vacances apartments and they were much better values for the money.
Great location, within walking distance to most everything. The kids loved the pool. The beds were very comfortable.
Wi fi was spotty.
staff was helpful, good location and facilities in kitchen, enjoy pool and stream room.
not enough tissue,it supply only one tissue that all for whatever your stay one or more day as my family will stay 8 days.it is not reasonable and make sense, this is a basic requirement of a accommodation.
central location stunning lobby comfy bed
accommodation smaller than appeared, very compact!
Friendly straff and excellent location
Could have needed drying space for skiing boots. Wifi with a good bandwidth should be included
Very comfortable place to stay with a family or group of friends in centre of Chamonix
The location was excellent. For just a little more effort the rooms could be fantastic.
All the kitchen appliances were available but no tea/coffee/sugar. "Welcome pack" included all the things needed to clean the kitchen, not a chocolate or tea bag in sight!
Almost everything. Great location and staff
Pool could have been warmer
Went on ski holiday & apartment did not have the appropriate radiators that can fit inside ski boots to dry them. Ski lockers are provided for each apartment but they are quite narrow.
