La pulizia era carente dell'appartamento al nostro arrivo. In rapporto al prezzo, scoprire che anche l'accesso in piscina era a pagamento e che le pulizie giornaliere non erano incluse. Il servizio check-in: dopo le 20 devi rivolgerti a alla città di Douville: abbiamo dovuto litigare al telefono per farci aspettare fino alle 20.30.

E' una bella struttura in un'ottima posizione. Il paese di Houlgate è incantevole, così come i paesi della costa. L'appartamento è ben attrezzato e con una magnifica vista. Il personale assolutamente gentile.

Posizione molto bella, tranquilla, con comodità pratiche (dal Wi-Fi gratis alla possibilità di prenotare per esempio la colazione, alla piscina riscaldata esterna). Staff efficiente e gentile. Vale sia per giornate di assoluta tranquillità e relax con ampi spazi verdi, sia per escursioni un po' in tutta la Normandia data la posizione centrale.

Location. Comfort.

Very small appartement. We suspect this and reserve house for 8 persons for family with two children and baby-sitter (3 adults). It was Ok.

The reception staff were very good, spoke good English. We had computer problems and helouise the receptionist was so patient with us,thank you.

The parking, too far from the room especially from the room,especially when it rains.

Comfortable with panorama sea view and good value for your money. We stayed with our children aged 14 & 16 in a 4 persons apartment and really enjoyed it. Good size bedroom upstairs with bathroom and on ground level toilet, living room with a comfortable bedsofa for 2 adults. Outdoor pool was still open and 26+. Parking available for free outside the apartment. The gym has 5 machines (TechnoGym) and 1 combined machine with weights. I used it every morning! Walking takes 10-15 minutes to center of Houlgate. It's a nice walk passing by wonderful old houses.

Problem to find the Hotel with the Navi since it's a new street but set the Navi for rue de Caumont and drive almost to the top and you will find the sign P&V.

It had everything that we could have possibly needed.

I had sent a message through booking.com that we would be arriving late. When we finally found the location (signage was sparse and local was not on our GPS)... the front gate was locked 12:45. We were instructed to call the number listed and the person at the other end gave a a code (not for the gate .... for the lockbox). Since we couldn't get in the gate my son went in on foot to see if he could locate somebody...... lights out nobody there. (except some other guests trying to find their way in also) My son found the lockbox, but no information packet was under our name. (did finally get gate code off of somebody elses packet) Now inside gate, son though maybe they spelled our name wrong so we had somebody elses packet thinking it could be ours ....... went to the room and since it had a highchair and crib we knew it was not ours. By this time it was 1:30 am. Called the number again and they did patch us through to the manager that was onsight at the facility .......he met us at reception, scolded us about taking someone elses packet and said ours should have been in there...... he checked and found it was not. Checked in system to varify which room he had us in, gave keys and said they would straighten out in the am ....... now it was 2:00 am. They did straighten out the next day but what a hassel when you are tired from traveling 6 hours.

Not really beach/seaside as it's located up in the hills overlooking the town of Houlgate.

The two bedroom apartment was well equipped and modern. The outdoor pool area was lovely - although we were told that the pool was heated to 29 degrees and it definitely wasn't that warm.

There was no bar or option to buy wine - very unusual for a place in France! Seafood platter and breakfast was very expensive for what you got. Quite a walk from the town (especially coming back - uphill!) No local taxis

The reception service was excellent. The accomodation was lovely and small touches (such as the Nespresso coffee machine and fluffy robes) made it a bit more special. It was very quiet at night so everyone slept well but it was only a 10 min walk down to the beach and town which even our 6 yr old managed easily. The pool area was wonderful for the children. I only wish I had managed to get to try out the spa...

The beds were too hard. The safebox in the apartments costs more than €3 per day extra - outragious!

The staff were excellent. Nothing else.

The apartments were very noisy if you were in a lower apartment with one above you. We were woken up at 6a.m. in the morning with people moving around upstairs. The apartment was very small for three people and it was meant for four. The gate into the swimming area was absolutely useless, no-one could open and shut it properly it had a really stupid latch on it for safety purposes. Very basic facilities.

The view was extraordinary. There were some places for kids to play (at the reception) and a playground outside. The kitchen was well equiped. The gardens and the ap terace were fine.We apreciate the bathrobs

Even if there was an apartament, there was plenty of dust on the curtains and underneath the beds.There were also dust and cobwebs. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. The bedroom was tiny and the closet, too. We didn't understand why the small children weren't alowed to the interior swiming pool when there weren't many people in the spa and when the weather was so bad, that you couldn't go outside! Pitty!

This is the second time we stayed at this resort. We stayed here about 10 months ago on vacation and came back because it is beautiful place to stay and with a great view overlooking the city of Houlgate and with a view of the ocean from the balcony. I would recommend this place to anyone who is staying in the area! We have no bad words to say about it. The staff also spoke good English so we were able to ask questions about the area and also places to see and what there is to do.

The indoor pool/spa can only be used by people 16 years and older, so when it is raining we were unable to use the indoor pool. Other than that we have nothing bad to say about the residence.

The complex is up the hill approx 5 minutes drive from the beach and from the town. The apartment is small but everything was there - good having a kitchenette. We stayed in a one bedroom aprtmt (4people). the room had two single beds, then we used the sofa bed in the lounge - not much spare space but we squeezed in. It would have been better to get an extra room. the swimming pool was nice, but it closed at 8pm even though it was a nice day and many people were enjoying it; we all had to get out.

We enjoyed our stay. Be sure to bring groceries and coffee! All appliances included.

The accomodation was lovely, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great view. Separate twin bedroom for teenage daughters, huge comfy sofa bed for us. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Open air pool was open earlier in the year than advertised - gorgeous! Local town of Houlgate is lovely too.

It was hard to find - built since google maps so impossible to locate exactly before we left. Signage was hard to spot when we first arrived. Also we arrived after 8pm and reception was closed - a bit worrying at first but we were soon shown where our key had been left for us.

Pas d accès a la piscine couverte en dehors de l accès au Spa.

Ne pas avoir eu a faire le ménage en partant. La déco des apparts les lits faits et accessoires de bain Piscine chauffée Pain frais à la demande. La kitchenette,le kit vaisselle et les torchons la télé dans les deux chambres

Peu d'espaces en dehors des parkings et des routes pour que les enfants jouent. Les architectes auraient pu prévoir des escaliers dans les massifs pour accéder aux maisons .(on doit faire un long détour )Peu pratique pour décharger les bagages. Situation géographique peu pratique quand on a des vélos . Mal indiqué pour y accéder Manque de propreté sur notre balcon (cendres de cigarettes ) et sol des couloirs et escaliers sales. horaire trop tardif à l'arrivée (17 h)

Piscine intérieure non accessible pour les enfants.

le concept est très pratique pour les familles avec enfant. L'appartement est fonctionnel et très bien dimensionné.

l'accès à la piscine intérieure est interdit aux enfants de moins de 16 ans, même accompagné des parents. La piscine extérieure n'étant pas active lors de notre séjour (et il faisait trop froid de toute façon), l'occupation du site faible. Nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de flexibilité.
