I actually chose the "residence" because of the reviews I read about it so I hope mine would also help other travellers. The appart-hotel provided great service for the price. The best part was its proximity to the city centre, I could walk everywhere...at least almost. The beautiful combination of the quiet side street location and the nearby city centre bustle made my choice all the more worthwhile. There was no wifi and that was a real constraint since I travelled with an ipad. Adsl was provided in the rooms and was very helpful for those who came with laptops. I also think there should be some administrative presence in the "residence" during weekends. I kept thinking about what would happen in case of emergency. This is the only reason I would consider a proper hotel for my next trip.

Well located, near the center of town and good access to public transport (2 tram stops to the central station). Large room, included kitchen area with pots and dishes. Refrigerator and cooking surface. Reasonably comfortable bed (actually a convertible sofa). When present, staff was helpful and accommodating to needs such as extra towels. No full-time reception and the staff often came late and left early. Each apartment had its own hot-water heater, which only heated water at night. If one person prefered to bathe in the morning and the other in the evening, there would not be sufficient hot water. One shower and one bath exhausted the supply and no more until the next day.

I liked its being close to the center as well as o the hotel E.T.C. where other members of our deligation were hosted. I cannot ind other words. Its breakfast menue were poorer in compare with other hotels of the same value. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay there.

The location is very good, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, Petite France, the canal and the tram stop. There is very limited hotel reception. When I arrived on Sunday, I had to let myself in. Having said that, the staff were helpful when they were around. The breakkfast could have been more generous.

The staff was excellent and bilingual (English). The location was perfect for exploring the city. They had no way for me to get my boarding passes in preparation for leaving. The shower was not fastened properly, making it difficult to use.

Very nice size room with a great location and the rate I got was exceptional (40 euro a night). The staff were really great and helped us out with things to do and where to buy stuff. They have cable internet but no wifi. Most ppl use wifi now so that would have been handy. They close the front desk on the weekends and we need more garbage bags and toilet paper and didnt know where to get these from.

Very convenient for main rail station, very convenient for trams, supermarche nearby for cheap food and drink, near main shops for almost anything. I got it at a very good rate by booking ahead. The ground floor room I had was right on the pavement and was noisy, with the occasional ignorant person knocking on the window at night trying to get attention.

A bientôt, Un Confrère hotelier.
