Tram next door, centre of town in 10 minutes. Easy access and parking. Perfect location for city break in fabulous bordeaux. Great staff, good facilities. Highly recommended.
Rear entrance on way to tram very tatty. Big contrast to other public areas
Originally we booked a double but got twin beds. Receptionist very obliging, searched hard and found a much better room for us even though it was a busy period. Place was really quiet and nice to look out on a treed courtyard.
Whole complex is a little bit of a rabbit warren. Original studio room was really, really tiny, so glad we got an upgrade to apartment for no extra. Some of the furnishings are tired and faded.
Staff very friendly and knowledgeable Safe parking (free) onsite - car park locked at night Comfortable apartment with free wifi Apartment had separate loo & bathroom (handy for a family of 4) Easy drive/tram into Bordeaux
Not in a particularly picturesque part of Bordeaux - surrounded by builders' merchants
Unusual location, away from traffic, but not very far from tram stop, so good access to centre of city. Not too far to walk to city or river promenade. Small supermarket 5-10 mins walk away. Plenty of space in appartment and good cooking facilities.
In a relatively poor area which is still being redeveloped, so some pavements in poor condition. Limited range of local shops.
Tram to town and train station just opposite so easy to use and very cheap. Location was quiet. Supermarket nearby. Lovely cakes and fresh food.
Not a pretty location but no noise so that was good. Mattress too hard for me and pillow too small and soft. Ouch!! Room too small for a long break. Felt a bit hemmed in but for a few nights it was bearable. had breakfast once. Adequate but found fab supermarket not far away so stocked up on some food.
location and parking was excellent.
single beds, would prefer a double only one pillow each
Free-of-charge parking place Free-of-charge wifi Just a few metres from the stop of the tram connecting with the city centre Room large enough, comfortable beds Bathroom large enough Good selection at breakfast
Having chosen the residence-style accommodation (and not the hotel-style one) we were only entitled to free-of-charge clean towels and bed sheet upon arrival, so we had to pay for a new set when it was needed after a few days. Okay, but 7 euros for two towels only (no bed sheet) seem definitely too much to me
We stayed in a studio very well equipped had everything you neeeded. Double bed very comfortable. We also had a small eating area so you could eat in if you like. Trams right outside so made it very easy to get into town centre.(20 mins to walk). Free Parking. Everything was perfect!!
The only thing that lets it down is the outside area of the Residhotel Galerie Tatry. Needs a few plant pots or flowers to make it look more inviting.
Pillows very uncomfortable so we had a bad night's sleep, toilet was noisy... design of building was very ugly, concrete walls and low ceiling in hotel. The design reflects an architect who doesn't think of comfort of persons staying in this hotel... Felt like we slept inside a garage... Parking was narrow and barely enough space. As we were parking, we didn't notice the protruding rails and we got the side of our car badly scratched.... Breakfast was alright but nothing impressive. Staff at lobby, right by breakfast area, spoke with very loud voice...
Location just at the tram stop (5 stops to the city centre), easy to find with car navigation. Big parking lot, rooms equipped with all what is necessary for a short visit in the city.
Our apartment wasn't very spacious, which could be inconvenient in case of a longer stay.
This hotel was very good value. It is located out of the main centre, about 25 minutes walk, but there is a tram next door that goes into the centre of the city in 7 minutes for Euro1.50. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room is small but does have air-conditioning and a small kitchenette. Car parking was available free.
Inexpensive, ideal for a quick stop.
Very nice and clean room. Staff could speak English fluently so we didn't have any problems with communication. Good location - one tram to the city center and to the train station. Very good breakfast. Bardzo ładny, czysty i cichy pokój. Dobrze przygotowana obsługa. Świetny dojazd do centrum miasta i do dworca kolejowego. Pyszne śniadania. Bardzo polecam.
Handy to tram to city centre of Bordeaux. Breakfast optional extra. Very clean and comfortable room and very helpful staff on reception. Secure car park as well which is locked and secured at night.
We liked that there is a tram station just 2 minutes away that we did not need our car which was secure parked at the lot in front of the hotel free of charge. The small kitchen was pretty good equipped and the air condition was working fine. We ask for a quiet room and, in fact, we got one.
The light in the bathroom was somewhat poor and the cosmetic mirror was two high at the wall that you - as a woman of normal height - could not use it.
Very convenient for the city via the nearby tram stop. Free parking.
Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Transport is convenience as a tram station is just in front of the hotel. The room is great with the price we paid.
Very friendly service. Spotless room. Comfy bed. Good breakfast facility. Wifi & adequate parking.
The staff we very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the kitchnette was very well equipped with all that you needed to prepare food. The laundry was very good.
Rooms were a bit small for tall people. Make sure you get the correct train from the station, not the one where you have to walk the length of the road. We found out about the shorter one later.
Spacious room, would have been good for a longer stay with kitchenette facility, very near to metro station (a minute or two to walk)
Close to tram
Very poor wifi Bare room dark Towel change once during week Breakfast coffee machine not working hence no coffee Breakfast run out of certain foods
The staff was very helpful, polite, and kind. The breakfast was a good price for the money with fresh fruits, bread (croissant, sliced, and baguette), several types of ham, cheese, juice, coffee, tea, nutella, and jams. It was nice to have a kitchenette in the room and it was extraordinarily convenient to the conference center and to town.
The internet was spotty and you had to enter your login and password multiple times.
The fact that it was a refurbished wine warehouse appealed, very convenient for tram, pleasant staff, compact and well equipped accommodation.
Uninspired view, as overlooked other rooms, had to pay 7 euros if you wanted fresh towels, other than that, it was excellent!
Close to Tram or walk into town. Daughter love local art shop.
Nothing all good.
Loved the little kitchen
Bed comfort was a little disappointing
