Very nice young man on reception.. He was very friendly and informative. Good parking and the studio was very spacious. When I booked it I thought it was a hotel room and not a studio apartment. Had to go to reception for Wifi.

Nothing. We checked in, saw the barren state of the communist era decor and furnishings, walked out and booked into the nearest hotel. The web-site photos shown for the accommodation are nothing short of a cheat. Disgraceful The horse-hair blankets on the beds. The bed settee, supposedly for the children, which was decrepit. The bitterly austere decor and furnishings.

The apartment was very spacious and clean, and the kitchen was very well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils. We also liked the location within walking distance of the castle. The bed was very narrow for two people. The curtains in all rooms were only half attached, giving the entire place a rundown feel, although the apartment was impeccably clean.

The castle. Check in 1600, we arrived 1630, beds unmade, not been cleaned. Beds awful, 2 singles pushed together, seemed to be bunk beds as one had a rail around it. No windows to open just sliding doors into the garden. Air con on all night, noisy, couldn't stop it. Bathroom was a wet room, the shower soaked everything including the toilet. Toilet seat was falling off. Don't understand why the cleaner hadn't reported it, as it would have moved when she cleaned. Would not stay there again.

Free secure parking. Walkable distance from Carcasonne, walled city. Indoor swimming pool. Appartments could have done with more equipment i.e more glasses & cutlery.

I liked being able to swim. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped - good if you go with food to cook and washing to do!

Modern and clean accommodation, well quipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Great location for Medieval City The pool went out of order half way through our stay and was not fixed for the rest of the week. The indoor pool was one of the top reasons for choosing this hotel. It was great at the beginning of the week so very disappointing that the hot showers were not fixed after they broke down on the Wednesday morning.

It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Castle (Carcassonne walled city). Security for autos was good with gated property. Desk clerk did speak English which was helpful, but was not fluent. This was "okay." We managed! The signage on the outside was extremely poor. Hotel changed names several YEARS ago, and new signs have yet to be placed. Hand written and difficult to read or even see new name below previous name of hotel was confusing and frustrating. Because of booking through your co. we had to pay extra for clean towels the 2nd day; we had to use our bath towels to mop the wet floor because shower had not enclosure and sprayed everywhere! We were placed in a Disabled Person's room that had open shower AND bed with high railing around one side and the foot of one side, so had to crawl over that to get in and out of bed. We are 70 and need to get up - easily - during the night! Even getting in and out once was challenging! No free WiFi in rooms either. Laundry was available on site but expensive, costing 7 Euros per load!

Good location, close to the Castle of Carcassone, about 5 min walking. Large room with kitchen an big balcony with facilities. Free swimming pool. Parking with many places at the territory. It's good for short stay or for a long stay if you don't need internet. Wi-fi is only at the reception and the receiption is in another building, by our opinion it's not comfortable.

Excellent situation near castle and about 30 mins walk into town, super appartment, we were only couple but it was intended for six. Absolutely spotless. Outside deck with huge table and chairs and drying facilities, we were on second floor. Would be suitable for disabled possibly, lifts and easy access. Gated grounds with plenty of parking space. Excellent staff, helpful and spoke several languages including good English, very helpful and friendly. We had kitchenette so self catered, good small supermarket five minutes down road, excellent bakery with stuff for evening meal with salad across the road. Brilliant place to stay.

I appreciated their friendliness. The reception closes after 10 pm. We were fortunate to have a cab driver who went out of his way to call and locate our keys which had been left in an after hours spot. If you arrive after 9, the city is pretty quiet. Make sure to let them know so you aren't worried. We found our keys, and I was very happy they had left them for us. It's very close to the castle. And about a 15-20 minute walk from the city center where most of the food and shops are.

Residhotel Le Clos De La Cite was very clean. I had booked an apartment that accommodates 6 people at a push. I had booked it for my mother and myself as I wanted two bedrooms, so it was comfortable for us to have a lounge, as the weather wasn't good, so we had space to relax. I liked our balcony very much and the fact that we weren't facing the road. It was just right for walking to the Cite. Reception were very friendly and helpful. The apartment 163 would have been cramped for the advertised number of people as there wasn't any storage other than a small amount of shared wardrobe space. There were no shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on. so we had to put them on the floor as there wasn't a dressing table or anything to put things on the bedrooms. I was unaware how far we were from any shops to buy basic food, and as the hotel only provided breakfast, I would have liked more information about where the local shops are and/or to tell the guests to make sure they bring there own provisions, as the cite doesn't have any food shops either and if you don't have a car it is difficult to get things. I think there should be a map of the nearest food shops like Lidl etc. There wasn't a kettle. English people use these all the time to make tea and coffee.

It was close to the castle. It was simple but clean and it did the job for us. We were not experienced in renting this type of room. We arrived late in the evening and did not have access to a phone. We did not know of the check in time. Only by the graces of another guest were we able to find the phone number, use her phone, and unearth the hidden key. I guess this was my mistake for not looking closer at the details of this type of booking. I would not use this type of facility again. Larry

The location is excelent for the old City. No idea why no shower curtain. No wardrobe in ne bedroom. This would make it impossible if the full potential compliment for the room was to book in.

Hairs on the floor, spider webs on some corners, old and very used furniture and blankets. No tv on the bedroom, just on the living room. The air conditioning is only on the living room, so it has to be freezing in the living room so you can sleep in the bedroom (very hot bedroom). The bedroom has a bathroom with a bathtub and a washbasin. The toilet is near the entrance hall. So you have to go to the toilet then go wash yourself in the bathroom of the bedroom. Very practical. Very poor breakfast. After seeing the cleaness of the apartment we didn't dare go to the swimming pool so i can't give my opinion about it.
