The rooms are very clean and updated. The staff was friendly eventhough they only spoke French. The dinner was awesome! We did opt out of the breakfast and went accross the street to sit and eat at the bakery. The hotel is in a nice small town in the Alsace hills.

We were shocked when we walked into to welness area in the building next door. There were naked people sitting in the whirlpool... The staff only speaks French.

The staff was incredibly nice! Very quiet area. Clean rooms. We did not go but the hotel has a SPA and there is a tennis and a golf place nearby.

We did not expect to be so far from Colmar. It is really up the mountains in a small village with no charm. Time to eat and choices of meals are very limited.

I Liked the restaurant/Cafe infront of this Hotel, which is just awesome and value for money. This Hotel is as good as any other Star Hotels. Even enjoyed the route to this Hotel.

Set up in the Vosges mountains, this hotel is charming because of the delightfully dizzy lady who is in charge. We were actually in the annexe which also houses the restaurant. The main hotel is just nextdoor but its guests come across to the restaurant. Despite the restaurant being packed out with a coach party (or maybe two, as we counted around 75 people there) they cheerfully served us with the evening meal - a set menu which was delicious and extremely good value: 15.50 euros for 2 courses, 17.50 euros if you could possibly manage a dessert too. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, possibly because it was fitted out to accommodate a disabled person and had a huge, very efficient shower and large bathroom. Nice view over the little square in the village.

A bit tricky to find, as the village is very long and drawn out, covering several kilometres climbing up the mountain. There is a lower Labaroche and an upper Labaroche. You keep thinking you must have missed it, but it is at the furthest, highest point. The sat nav wouldn't accept the hotel street number, so was little help.

    Nice and clean.

Rooms are cold. Heating system was off and could not manage to turn it on. Away from main Wine Road. Especially if you want to get to the hotel at night, please be careful or try to get there before sunset.

Beautiful location with good facilities for kids with Tennis, table football etc. Large room in very authentic style

It was a very hot day so Air-condition would have been great, but they had opened all windows prior to our arrival which helped. The wireless does not work in the annex.

The peaceful location, the owners were very welcoming and helpful and we were upgraded to a better room without even asking. The food was copious in the extreme (in a good way!) and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.
