Hotel Restaurant De Seignelay  

Casona antigua, hotel modesto pero muy bien ubicado en el centro histórico de Auxerre. Tiene restaurant con muy buena comida y precios razonables.

Good meal in restaurant, and helpful staff.

As a family of four with two adult sized teenagers the quad room was spacious. It was also very clean. Quaint old coaching Inn with lots of character but modern comfortable rooms.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Lovely old building in the town centre, but very peaceful at night.

Charming and amusing people running the place, made us most welcome. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Room and facilities a little dated but clean and comfy. Couldn't get wifi to work on my laptop but ok on phone so that was probably more about me.

Only that it felt a little odd being the only guests but that's because of the time of year.

Far to expensive for the comfort you get, absolutely not friendly at all, Room very old, bathroom even older... really not to recommend to no body, for the high price I payed of 75euros with garage, Personel not friendly at all, Stay away from that hotel...

It is a traditional French hotel experience. Hopefully, it will remain that way. Plain, simple, everything works and the owners/staff are very good. It is a great place to stay at any time of year. it is seriously 'good value'.

Nothing to dislike but it is a plain and simple proposition for the price.

Difficult parking facilities and due to the construction work by the quayside, the hotel was difficult to locate.

Very good location in centre of Auxerre. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Our room (#19) off the courtyard was rather tired and basic, noisy water system (early risers in next room showering). Breakfast buffet was minimal. There is secure parking - but it is a pain as it is in a locked dark garage a few hundred yards away and cars are blocked in.

The town at Auxerre is very pleasant with exceptional features , the river, boats, churches, architecture, French style. The hotel was quaint. With a nice terrace with drinks available. The menu looked good. There was a nice atmosphere at the evening for diner. Parking off site was secure. Nice staff.

The room had no pretty features and was a little noisy from traffic on the road. The shower wouldn't run hot and was like one you found in a caravan. Breakfast was without meat only a few bread pieces and croissants a sparce selection.

Staff very accommodating and the food was excellent. There were four of us - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. They had a room for us all!

Very French hotel, rooms simple, no air conditioning, but very quiet. Lovely courtyard with outiside tables. Staff excellent We arrived very late and they kept open the restaurant to serve us. Recommend booking private car parking as road parking difficult/impossible late. Breakfast delightful - would recommend and return

The owner is great! Great sens of humor. Tongue-in-cheek kind of guy. Forgot is name but he remember ours which is a great sign :) Best morning coffee of our whole trip. Great ambiance. Grreat location. We really liked our stay it was our first 3 nights of our stay little Europe trip. We really liked it. Parking can be a bit difficult but they do have suggestions and a parking lot for like 7euros. We manage to park on the street but we were lucky I think. Otherwise we hade a great time and Auxerre is a beautifull little city.

Friendly welcome, big family room in an old coaching inn. Auxerre is a nice little town.

A small city centre hotel in a building about 200 years old. The entrance opens up into an enchanting quiet courtyard with open air dining. Staff are very welcoming, the service excellent, the rooms very clean - and you get free wifi ! Strongly recommended.
