Great hotel in a very quiet valley. Easy to find but don’t follow your satnav unless you want to drive on some very narrow roads - instead take the D57 south form Remiremont. There is ample free car parking available. The staff are excellent and speak very good English. The rooms are very large, clean, very quiet, comfortable and well appointed, although a little tired but it wouldn’t stop us staying again. The restaurant menu was limited to just 2 main dishes and our visit, however the food was excellent and very well priced.

The La Vigotte hotel, overhanging the Moselle valley, is in a wonderful setting in the Vosges mountains. A former traditional farmhouse from the Vosges area dating from 1750, the La Vigotte hotel has recently been completely renovated and redecorated with a floral motif by an artist. It offers comfortable and authentic bedrooms, which enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the hotel's private ponds. The restaurant serves traditional local specialties. You can enjoy them on the terrace or near the fireplace, depending on the weather. Don't hesitate to try plenty of activities, like walking in the park or fishing in the pond. The Vosges area is well worth the visit too, by foot, by bike or on horseback.
