Excellent food but no local wine. Bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was full continental and very substantial. A very interesting & quirky hotel. Hotel located very close to old & new town next to the bridge.
Price of food & wine.
Location, convenience, comfort were all top notch. Tuesday market is fabulous. Breakfast is amazing!
Some might not like the winds "the Mistral", we loved them.
Amazing location. Very attentive hostess. Really fascinating place with quite arty/eccentric decor. Ate in and enjoyed a real feast of French cuisine. Excellent wine selection.
The food was almost over the top in terms of being excessively fancy haute cuisine and, unusually, the portion sizes were too big (even for my hungry husband!). The bill was pretty hefty too. Our room at the top of the house was quaint but due to the roof beams the ceiling was so low that no average adult would be able to stand upright in more than about 25% of the room; that was particularly awkward for my 190cm husband.
Location was good. Had character.
Quaintness was undermined by high cost. Got room with impossibly low ceilings, even though we requested differently. 2 floors of steep stairs to lug suitcases. Dinner wonderful, but pretentious and expensive. 7 Euros for coffee!! Parking difficult.
Not much. Spacious room.
Location on Hwy is actually dangerous when bringing in luggage. Awful odor from toilette filled the room. Owner refused to acknowledge the problem. Breakfast was overpriced. Owner charged us for two nights, even though we had to leave after one due to the smell. Like France in the 50's: the owner has all the rights; the customer none.
the location and the welcome were great. Breakfast was a theatrical performance with so much laid out on the table that two people sat at a table that could seat eight. Vastly over the top but very entertaining (expensive if you're not into massive breakfasts).
We found the decor over-the-top cutsey-pootsie, but that's a personal thing.
We received a very warm welcome, and were shown to our beautifully furnished rooms, with well-appointed bathroom. The sense of staying in a family home was enhanced by the photographs in the room. The breakfast was superb, and served in a delightful riverside room full of original art works. Our only regret is that we were unable to eat in the restaurant. We have promised ourselves a return trip to do that.
The Michelin restaurant served great food presented well. It has an excellent wine list.
Nothing. It was lovely.
Restaurant was fabulous -food, service, decor, ambience. Owners were charming. Room decor lovely.
Beams in our attic room very low -had to stoop in places, however that was unimportant considering the charm of the whole place
Ideal location metres from the town but situated above the river Ouveze. Wonderful food & extensive choice of wines served either on a veranda within earshot of the rippling river or in an amazing domed whitewashed cellar - cosy and intimate- walls adorned with colourful paintings of Provence by Monsieur Bardot. Friendliness of our hosts & staff. The bedrooms are unique in a style 'provencal' but with every modern convenience. The whole experience was fantastic!
The owners were very friendly. The room was delightful. Very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent.
We were leaving early, but no one was around. We ended up packing the car and going for a walk then going back to confirm the account.
We had a lovely, magical, delicious stay! It was spacious and charming, steeped in French, with English spoken if you wish it. Every need was attended to almost before we knew we desired it. The food was like something out of a dream, and beautiful to look at as we savored each morsel. We hope to go there again.
Fantastic - this is France at its best - we arrived into 'another world' - where the quality of food, the environment, our comfort and tranquility were key. We had to use our french (which is limited!) but that's part of the joy of travel - the food here is extraordinary -and truly worth the indulgence. This is a terrific place to stay.
Everything. Very romantic place. Very nice and helpfull staff. Nice little swimmingpool. Breakfirst was fantastic. Lunch and dinner as well.
Fantastic food, but a little expensive. Internet-connection was not so good.
