Both the evening meal and the breakfast were exceptionally good. The food was excellent and the service good. The drinks were a little expensive at the bar, but the wine list offered a good selection of nice wines at a reasonable price. Our room (in the annex outside) was a bit dated, slightly musty, and ours smelled doggy. Pets were allowed, and the last canine occupant in our room had left a slight 'Essence du chien' in the bathroom. Either that or it was a little damp. |

We stayed for 2 nights in a Privilege double room. The hotel is an elegant B&B in Alsace, very close to the centre of the small and lovely village of Barr. The small park of the hotel is very nice with large, old trees and a nicely appointed pool. Our room was quite large. Breakfast was good, even if you can eat for less than half of that well in nearby villages. Hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. The hotel's location is a bit far from the south and north edge of Alsace where many of the most interesting sites are located - but is OK if you do not mind driving. The decoration and furniture was very, maybe too simple, especially in the bathroom, for a premium room. |

Very helpfull staff. Very good restaurant. The elevator. Very nice terrace near the pool.Quiet neighbourhood. There was no aircondition on our room.(Very hot wether at that time of our stay) |

The hotel was very comfortable and was decorated with good taste. Our visit was very relaxing, and the staff was patient and helpful. Breakfast was nice too. I would definitely stay again. Would be nice to have shampoo and soap for the guests. |

the room was very nice, the stay overall was enjoyable - a big swimming pool is under construction: this little aesthetical aspect was not mentionned beforehand! fortunatly no work was going on during the weekend - the bill did not reflect the agreed price: we had to ask for correction... |

De poging om een bestaand gebouw op een hedendaagse manier opnieuw in te richten en aan te kleden. Een aangename rustige lounge bar zij het met niet erg comfortabele zitjes. Brandveiligheid: vb. De dubbele deuren die bij brand automatisch de lift- en traphal moeten afsluiten zijn niet doeltreffend. Het tweede deurpaneel is niet aangesloten op een deurpomp en de grendels zijn dicht geschilderd. Eigenlijk mag de lokale brandweer dit niet door de vingers zien. De gordijnen die overal 10 cm te lang zijn en dus op de grond liggen zijn naar mijn smaak niet erg geslaagd. Je kan er over struikelen en na enige tijd ook niet meer schoon te krijgen. Dat er zowat overal in de gangen veelal spuuglelijke "kunst" (alweer naar mijn smaak) te koop aangeboden hangt is eigenlijk niet op het niveau dat het hotel zich wil aanmeten. Ten slotte lagen de sigarettenpeuken van de vorige gast (of die daarvoor..) nog op het balkon. |

Goede swimming pool. Fijne tuin met bar. Grote kamers. Laat ontbijt zaterdags. Personeel was morgens niet op tijd aan de receptie voor de check-out terug. Stratentoestant in Barr veroorzaakt veel verkeerslawaai. Aantaal aan multi-culturele bewooners in Barr ongewoon hoog. |

Hotel und Grundstück sind absolut gepflegt und stilvoll. Schöner Pool im Garten. Absolutes Plus: Schöne Bar, wo man sich am Abend aufhalten kann! Unser Zimmer war charmant eingerichtet. Wir hatten unseren Hund mitgebracht, dies wurde aber freundlicherweise nicht berechnet. Außerdem erließ man uns den Preis für das Frühstück, da wir morgens zeitweise kein warmes Wasser hatten, was ebenfalls sehr freundlich war. Wir frühstückten auf dem Zimmer, können also zum Buffet nichts sagen. Die Bäder könnten qualitativ besser ausgestattet sein, für diese Kategorie (3 Sterne) allerdings in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit im Bad ist noch verbesserungsfähig. |

Das Hotel erinnert von außen an eine Villa aus dem 19. Jh. Das Anwesen ist, einschließlich Swimmingpool und Garten, insgesamt sehr gepflegt. Die Gestaltung im Innnern des Hotels, vor allem Speisesaal und Frühstücksraum,hält nicht, was das Äußere verspricht. Geschmackloser französischer "Modernismus". Bedienung im Restaurant zwar freundlich, aber distanzlos. Ich wurde (mit 67 Jahren!) mit "jeune homme" angesprochen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Restaurant zweifelhaft. |

Le confort offert dans la chambre, (double "Privilége" ),La vue depuis la chambre. le Parking privé, le calme, la piscine ( bien que non utilisée ) sont des atouts que nous avons appréciés. Nous avons remarqués que les chambres doubles voisines avaient chacune deux peignoires de déposées sur le lit...la nôtre n'en avaient pas ! Nous aurions également aimés en avoir a disposition, sans avoir a le demander à la réception. |

Het hotel oversteeg onze verwachtingen. Zeer proper, heel vriendelijk personeel, een uitstekend restaurant, en dat alles tegen een zeer goede prijs. Wat kan men zich nog meer wensen? |
