Comfortable clean room. Pleasant high altitude surroundings. We took 'half board' which means that the Menu is limited, although a substitution was allowed in our case.
You need to be aware that the road (Route des Crêtes) to the hotel from the North (sometimes selected by GPS) is closed in winter (Nov to May) by snow. Relatively isolated with small village about 200 metres away which between seasons seemed largely closed.
Great location for riding bikes
Staff were not the friendliest a times. They seemed to warm up after we had been there a few days Very minimal English, which is not an issue but can be challenging at times The food at the restaurant was up and down, not an issue as there are cafés and restaurants down the road
Great location for bikers.
Friendly staff, exclusive location.
couldn't communicate with the counter staff.
location, familly atmosphere, meals
Very welcoming and helpful staff. We had a nice view from our balcony. Excellent local food served generously. Warm traditional chalet hotel.
Check carefully the direction to the hotel in advance due to closed roads each wintertime. The room furnishing is dated but refurbishment is taking place.
