Close to a metro stop and many good-value restaurants/eateries nearby. Check-in time is pretty late but they have a luggage holding room and a community fridge. There seemed to be a club nearby, there was music until fairly late every night we were there. |

location (near subway station, Cimetière du Père Lachaise within walking distance, cheap restaurants in the area) staff wasn't very nice, there were no bathroom on our floor (and we couldn't use the one on the floor below ours because there was no light), we were on the 6th floor and there was no elevator; in spite of the hotel strict noise policy (taking a shower between 12 pm and 9 am is forbidden!) doors bang all night because people have to go out of their room to go to the bathroom; but the worst thing is probably that there is a better and cheaper hotel next to hostel richard |

The fleece in the blankets, the dirty room upon arrival, the laid back non-committing hostal personal, the cockroaches running about inside the room, the garbage dump outside the main door, the lack of toiletpaper in the WC. In general, a horrific stay that I would like to discourage travellers to experience. |

Very near underground station (Voltaire), easy to go anywhere. My stay (three nights) was peacefull. Very basic room, but considering price good enough. Excellent value for money. Shared showers and bathrooms. They were very small but near and clean enough. Luggageroom and microwave too. Only thin blanket in the room (wasn't broblematic to me in summertime), towel and sheets were 3 euros extra. Nobody emptied the trash or cleaned the room during my stay (3 nights). No shovering after midnight. |

First of all, this is a hostel, not a hotel as it pretends to be. The hostel is absolutely filthy....I am not even sure how this place can still be in business. Just because It is cheaper or a one star does not mean it has to be filthy... We had cockroaches (dead and alive) in our room, The room wasn't even clean when we got it, the hotel staff could care less about anything. |

It was very close to the metro station. Estaba muy cerca de la estación de metro. L'hôtel est prochain d'une station de metro. All. It is the worst hotel I have ever been, the staff, the room was totally dirty, the noise, altough it is cheap it is the worst hotel of Paris.I rent a two.bedrooms room and there was a person in my room!! After a discussion with the staff they decided to give another room, but they have lost the key!! |

The price was right, the metro was close (and main stops were only a minute or two away.) The room was basic but a good size, showers were fine, and the staff was friendly. |

This is a hostel, and not the best one. You have to pay 3 euro for a bedsheet and 1.50 for a towel. I think booking.com should not include the hostels in the search results, or separate them from the hotels to avoid the confusions. BTW, at the entrance there is written "hotel", not "hostel". I don't know what they expected when they did so... |

It was cheaper than a hostel for a double room. showers were not good - nowhere to hang shower head, one had no light, one didn't drain properly and overall were really old and didn't look clean. toilet on our level ran out of paper and didn't get refilled the next morning, bed sheets were old and thin, I got bitten from something after sleeping on top of the blankets, really noisy and doors hard to close quietly. |

the only thing i liked at hotel richard was that the tram line was so close and that is was cheap!!!! Firstly, yes it was cheap to stay at hotel richards but you really are getting what you pay for. From me and my boyfriends point of view what ever you do take you own blankets and sheets, i was lucky enough to read through alot of the coments from the hotel and took my sleeping bag which was the best thing ever..... |

The Résidence Voltaire is near République, Bastille and Nation, in a district with an authentic Parisian atmosphere. |
Situated very close from the Buttes Chaumont park, the Père Lachaise graveyard and on the way towards the Cité des Sciences, Hiphotel Eden offers 32 rooms. |
The Hotel des Arts is situated between the Pere Lachaise cemetery and the district of Opera-Bastille, one of the livelier districts in Paris with bars, restaurants, shops and theatres. |
A small family-run business, this hotel is a haven of peace, located in a quiet street in the heart of Paris, close to public transport. |
