Disgustingly dirty bed linen Uncomfortable mattress, like sleeping on wire You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the adjacent rooms No elevator (5 floor building) + narrow staircase
The bed, the shower, the other guests.
The toilet cleanliness is very poor. The rooms are not fresh and are with a very bad smell.
It was a nightmare, too much dirty room, they maybe never wash the blankets. The bed was near to break. And of course the mold on the ceiling. I could hear everyone in this hotel. The price for such room is too much high...
They had a microwave
No hot water at 10am Old towels with spots on them Bad conditions in rooms, dirty floor
Cleaning staff very helpful. The location.
Some personal don´t help you to give advice about the city and things to do. Were not very kind to give some help.
I did not like anything
the bed was uncomfortable
Nothing positive to say, the worse hotel in Booking.com site.
No central heating, the electric one was not working , beds were too noisy, the blankets OMG. No coffee or tea facility On/ off electricity
Only the location was good.
Building is really old and there was no sound insulation. We could not sleep because of noise. There was no heating system either. The room was really cold and moisturized. WC was really dirty and there was no toilet paper. The staff does not speak English and could not help.
the receptionist is nice,
should be atleast water heater for coffe in the room or atleast in the microwave area.
Location. 200m from Voltaire Metro Basic room with sink. No problem with Hot water like some reviews say. On street parking but limited to 2 hrs for €4.80 On a separate note if you get a stranger approach saying they have found a gold ring, They are Pickpockets after your money. We had Two different men try it on in 5 mins after arriving in Paris. Be very careful and trust no-one unless you know them.
My only suggestion is for the owners to charge an extra €5 per person and then spend the extra on small things that matter like toilet seats, plugs for sinks and hooks on doors. We would definitely stay at the Richard again when visiting Paris.
Restaurants and bars around
Dirty! We were in 5th floor and the stairs are falling, wifi only in reception (if it works),
only the location
bed uncomfortable very small room show very small shared toilet; dirty and broken people smoke inside two nights wake up early like 4am and 6am for the alarm ring, its really annoying heating do not work (at least now in november), its freezing at night. finally, overall the building is very old.
Great location the11 arondisment great place to enjoy the french atmosphere, very close to the metro aprox 2 min, close to a lot of cheap restaurant or fast foods, also close to markets and other shops, close to night bus station if you need to travel in Paris by night The hotel is great considering the price you pay,it was clean, with shower in the room and a very confortable double bed Overall it is a great hotel cheap clean great location
Location n price n staff.
Badly managed toilets.no proper lights. Wondows couldn't be fully locked. Stinging beddings.
I don't like the toilet
Location and a decent bed is what you pay for.
Everything else is awful. There is a shower inside the room but without if you use it you leave everything wet. The common shower doesn't have hot water (just a bit less than cold). Also, just 1 (dirty and small) toilet for 7 rooms in the first floor. Wifi barely works in the reception.
Location, very close to metro station The lady reception was very nice
- No hot water for days - found that this is recurrent issues and they dont seem bothered. - Dirty microwave - thats all they have for kitchen facilities - Poor staff (except the lady reception) - Poor toilet maintenance (there seems only one in the whole building, not enough rolls) - Very bad bed covers, ripped, with holes - Bugs in the room, cockroaches. - Noisy - Bathroom not great, curtains not sure since when last changed - No heating system availabler
No hot water for 2 days of our 4 day stay, and none on the morning of the day we left.
Regarding other hotels' prices at the same location this is so cheap. Paris is very expensive city , so be aware of that , you need minimum daily 50 euro just to be in the safe side , be careful when you take a taxi, ask the taxi to turn on the gps if it's turned off, for 10 km without traffic " which is so rare in Paris may be after 1 am" you might pay around 22 euro
toilets dirty, broken and not enough for guests!
Great staff. Clean. Nice people.
Shower had no hot water for 2 days in a row
No hot water but full price charged extremely dirty and old. I dont think that the room was cleaned i had to organize my own towels and bed linen
