1 only problem: the staff is sometimes rude. I think that is a French manner to receive tourists

Everything was perfect, as always. Every article is well thought out and gladden your eyes. There is nothing outdated or cheap in the hotel.

The breakfast hall is little bit small, but a breakfast lasts from 7a.M. to 2 P.m (!). So you can avoid a crowdy time. In addition, the breakfast is incredibly wide for Paris. A bed in my room wasn't wide enough for two person. But I was alone and enjoed good quality bed linen and mattress.

Location - close to all major destinations on the right bank, yet quiet. Friendly/helpful stuff. Good value for money

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, junior suite, well-equiped.

Breakfast could be better for 25 euro. Kettle was available only upon demand. In spite of check-in from 2 p.m., our room was ready only around 3 p.m. and we had to wait in the lobby.

The staff was horrible, not accommodating , not mice and not professional. We asked to Stay in the room for 2 hrs later on the last day , and they wanted extra money!!!, event bough the hotel was not full!!!!! We purchased a room for 3 adults , as we traveled with our oldest daughter. The room for 3 adults was TINY!!!! They tool a small room and squeezed a kid's bed, not even a bed to fit an adult!!!!! (we paid for an additional adult)!!!!!! EXEPTIONAL, nice was a concierge by the name Benjamin. Very helpfully and nice!!! The other consierge was pushy, trying to sell us museum tickets on the first Sumday of the month, when the muse was FREE! And push other services!!!!! I don't recommend this hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Rochester on the nights of 10&11/09/2011 in room 102. We were disturbed continually during the night by an irregular thumping noise - similar to a door swinging backwards and forwards. We complained to reception in the morning and they immediately offered to move us, We did not the accept as we were only staying one more night. At the time we required breakfast the delay for service was too long so we went elsewhere. We would stay at the Rochester again as we found it very comfortable and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions - but away from room 102.

Excellent hospatality, location and Value for money in same class or location..

Alles prima! Mooie kamer, vriendelijk personeel, net hotel. Hotel gelegen in zijstraat van de Champs Elysée: gemakkelijk bereikbaar met metro, ook om naar Gare du Nord te reizen.
