Nice, cosy hotel and good value for this amount of money in Paris. I would highly recommend
The receptionist spoke very little English but somehow he understood us more or less. Also he told me they will change towels every second day but it did not happen.
Room cleanliness Bathroom

After checking my passport the employee there tried to copy my passport. Stoping him, I asked why and also informed that there were no information regarding such action on the website info. I requested him to call Booking.com. The employee from Booking.com told me that no action was written in the homepage and that I need not to. So I didn'T. But another employee(older woman who seemed like his boss) demanded me a copy in case I broke something, did something ilegal and that it was the hotels regulation. I asked again to call Booking.com. This time the woman talks with him and instead asks her younger employee whether he tried to photo copy my passport???? And says that they only requested to see. While trying to make another call to Booking.com, a Mexican customer came in. He spoke French well. This time they did not even try or ask to copy his passport. So I asked the younger employee why he didn't try to copy the new customers passport. He said since I was offended that he may be too. Then what about hotel policy? How does it apply to one person and not to another. I payed the exact same as a customer. What difference was there that I needed my passport copied in case I broke something? I did not stay they even though I had to pay for the night.
Warm, friendly staff, good - clean room with great shower
Metro further then usual
Noise levels were high.
Location is the best! 5-10 minute walk to "Rome" station, you can not beat that. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi works great.
At time of arrival I had no Euros, just $U.S. Dollars, and at the front desk they would not allow me Internet access, until I came up with Euros in cash, they did not want my credit card either?! I had to wait until next morning to go to an exchange office to get the cash. My advice, no matter how tired you are, take a moment to change money at the airport or port of arrival to Europe
Room one, brand new decor. (Although it was freezing!)
-room two, I was first offered a room that smelled like a sewer was backed up in it (reception offered a can of bathroom spray) second offer had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, third offer was two singles rather than a double which was what I paid for. Although I tried to negotiate no option was given.
The rooms and bathroom were clean.
The death stares from the woman at reception every time we walked past, the dangerously narrow steep non-lit stair cases, the uncomfortable bent out of shape beds, the paper thing walls, the being asked to leave our room in the morning when the fire alarm went off with no explanation. And especially the useless woman on reception who tole me to "do it myself" when I asked if she called call us a taxi when we checked out. This place is utter garbage.
The area is very nice, shame about this hotel, once you enter the premises you will be stepping in a horrendous place.
this hotel was dreadful, the room was in a disgusting state, with rusty bathroom taps, wall debris from the bathroom sealing, the sower head swivelled in only one direction, the sealing, creating wall debris and dirt. The wall of the bathroom and the bedroom and on the carpet was at all time wet and damp. The wallpaper and the bed head board broken and fixed with sale tape, bare wires on the wall in bundles knotted and looking very dangerous as this was close to the damp created by the shower. The window curtains fell on my head avery time i opened them or closed them as they were of the hinges. I pointed out all this problem especially the curtains and the shower condition to the management , I was repitedly promised by 2 receptionists that they would be fixed but never deed so. I deed eventually asked them for my money back on the second day of my stay so i could book another hotel but they refused to reimburse me and so I was forced to stay in this disgustful condition for the 3 days, with not attempt whatsoever by the staff to fix any of the issues raised.
wi-fi not available in all room, poor breakfast, dirty property, not possible eat in the room - can ask penalty 50 EUR
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Room only had a bed and a straight backed chair. Nothing else. Walls and carpeting were worn.
comfortable room, nice view
a bit far from the metro, and as it's located in the residental area, it's hard to grab a taxi
Unfriendly staff, smelly rooms, old building in bad condition. Too expensive for the quality of the hotel, you can find something better for that amount of money. Basic breakfast (bread, orange juice, coffe and some jam) for 6 EUR you can get something better in a restaurant nearby.
The poor quality of reception's english speaking
one of receptionsts unfriendly
- Excellent small park nearby - Relatively not far from the metro M13 and M2 - Excellent renovated room and bathroom - There is no noise from the street
- No lift
the place was great. The room overlooked the Parisian terracotta roofs and chimneys, like the scene dreamed about after reading some 20s french romantic novel. I smoked in the room and they didn't even find out, although a rubber glove over the smoke alarm is necessary, as even a hot shower with the door open will set that ba$tard off.
The lift didn't work on our floor. Do you realize how annoying that is, to carry heavy loads up an additional set of stairs and be fumbling around with the key as the maids watch? The shower head was barley letting out small drips of scalding hot water and the hairdryer fuse exploded.
Location, simple rooms. You get exactly what you pay for and nothing more.
Staff were bad at english, tried making us pay 52 € for two small towels. Very noisy outside and no air condition made sleeping very hard.
The neighborhood was wonderful, with a bakery and moderately priced eateries nearby.
1. Specifically stated we needed a room with 3 real beds. My adult son who is 21 y.o. had to sleep on the floor on a makeshift board and thin padding. Despite having clearly stated this need in the reservation request, this did not happen. I would never stay there again. Avoid this place at all cost. 2. The promised laudry is non-existant. 3. The breakfast is an additional 6 euro per person....a fee of 2 euro for calling a cab... and the cab company called is in collusion with the hotel always charging more than a taxi from town center..as much as 7 euro more per trip. 4. The 5th floor accomodation were so small that to sit on the toilet, you had to turn sideways because the wall was only 5 inches from the seat. 5. The elevator is so small that only 2 persons could enter. 6. The fire alarm went off while there due to the faulty system which triggers the alarm if you allow steam from the shower to escape into the sleeping area.! 7. I have traveled all around the world and am a retired naval officer. This is about the worst place I have ever endured. 8. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE:
- Hotel is located near the center - Nice staff (everyone speak English, except maid) - Clean room + new bathroom - Ratio of price and quality - For only sleep perfect :)
- No idea :) Who want luxus, must choose another hotel, where pay much more.
empty room. No chair, no table, just a bed... poor breakfast
Hotel is only a five minute walk from the metro.
The staff hardly spoke English, they never seemed friendly, and the hotel appears to be under construction. The staff unlocked our door and came into our room on multiple occasions without knocking. The beds were not comfortable in the least and the bathroom was far from clean. The comforter even had a hole in it where someone had apparently burnt it.
Enjoyed stay here. Easy enough to get to metro and access all main sites in Paris. Staff were friendly. WiFi was good and room and bathroom were good
