Good hotel for the price. Definitely nothing fancy, but my room was very comfortable and fun (if simply) decorated. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, overall I had a lovely stay here!

The shower wasn't in the best condition and my room was clearly a smoking room which had been febreezed, but those are hardly an inconvenience

The hotel location is excelent:in 30 seconds you are in the Lamark-Calaincourt metro station, in 5 minutos walking you are in Montmartre area, 10 minutos walking you are in Moulin Rouge, 2 minutes and you find a lot of bakeries and groceries to buy all kind of sandwiches, cakes, fruits and drinks, at night you don´t ear a sound... the area is very quiet. The room is warm and clean.The room price was good.

The matress was unconfortable ( as in other cities with many visitors the furniture is very used). Some problems with shower. The room seems to be a little bit old, and need a upgrade in decoration and improvements in confort.

The price and location is excellent and really near the train station.. This is our second time staying here at the Montmartre area. If you do not intend to spend much time in the room it's a great place to stay. Room size is a little small but clean and a good shower. Staff especially John is very friendly jovial. We would definitely come back.

The staff in the reception was very professional and helpfull, you can not find it in any hotel in Paris, even 4 stars

Excellent location in a non-seedy part of Montmartre, very near the metro station. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.When we had a cistern malfunction we were offered a free breakfast in recompense. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby and it's a short walk to Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre, Montmartre museum and vineyard. The accommodation is basic and functional

The building is old and full of character. There is no aircon. If you have a room at the front and it's hot at night you have to open the window. Consequently it can be a bit noisy. The breakfast is plentiful (bread and pastries, juice and coffee or chocolate) but our bread was a not very crusty. We chose to breakfast at Chez Ginette a cafe right next door for 6 euros 50. as opposed to 8 at the Roma

We stayed for only one night in this hotel on the 14 of February and we booked it because of the view from the balcony on the top floor (note that balconys are avialable only on the 7th floor and there are only 5 rooms) - and the view was amazing (room 701) - there were roofs, streets and buildings of the Montmartr heading North - very romantic. The room is just like on the photos, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, but it was a little bit chilly in the room at night (the temperature was about 0 degrees outside), that's why it's not reccomended to stay there in cold weather. The previous guests were smokers, that's why the smell in the room was not so nice. We didn't order the breakfast, so I can't describe it.

What I liked about this Hotel was the quirkiness of our hotel room, colourfull and equipped with cafe table next to our very own shuttered window overlooking a very parisian street, nothing fancy, just nice. The hotel is situated in a great part of Paris within walking distance of Sacre Cour. There where no tourist shops but plenty of cafes, I would deffinatly recommend this hotel and area.

Bathroom and bed were made up every day but when packing up and prior to departure, I checked under the bed and discovered tissues, a bottle of beer, and accumulated rubbish on the floor. Obviously this area had not been cleaned for some time. Lots of late night noise - next to Metro

The bathroom was a good size.

The electricity kept going off in the mornings when we were getting ready to go out and there was drilling etc in the hotel for renovation work. It was very poor value for money, more of a hostel but charging £90 a night. I would never recommend the hotel.

poor wifi access. elevator didn't work and staff wouldn't help you to get 6 floors up your luggage. we stayed an extra night, and they charged 30 euros more than booking rate.
