Best Western Roosevelt Nice

Central location - ideal for shopping, museums, art galleries, restaurants and the beach - everything within a few minutes walk. Very clean with lovely modern bathrooms and helpful and friendly staff. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Expensive breakfasts for mediocre offerings.

The price and location

Small room, certainly needs to be renovated, a lot ot paint peeled off, especially in the bathroom, broken door handle in the bathroom, a very small lift - no possibility to be there for 2 people and the suitcase. Only 1 suitcase and 1 person or 2 persons.

Good Location to the city centre; for shopping, dining, transportation. Wifi was available no problem. I would like to recommend this hotel unless you mind my experience mentioned below.

A female receptionist who was assined on 21st Nov evening was awfully arrogant. She was talking to another guest for a couple of minutes, I said "Sorry, but I just need a key of 402 quickly" I received and rushed to my room. I found that the key was for the 401. I went back to the reception and informed her of the wrong key. She said "Yes I just gave you the correct key as I exactly heard from you", sounds like typical French excuse or... Then she gave a different key, again wrong 403. Did she do it on purpose? I do not know, but finally, I was convinced that I was totally correct but just her stupidity. I wonder how the hotel would have handled the case if I had used the wrong keys to enter the rooms which were not mine???

It is located in the centre of the city, near many shops and good restaurants.

There is no temporary parking place in front of the hotel for offloading and loading luggage and receive a parking pass card. We had to drive in cirkels while calling the hotel to finally achieve this.

The location was very good so it proved easy to return to the hotel during the day and the staff were always attentive. The breakfasts were reasonable.

The air conditioning seemed to heat the room was then unpleasantly warm. It was not practical to open the window as the street was very noisy most nights. There were no TV channels which were English speaking (although the music channels were enjoyed by my daughter!)

Very nice hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good - close to everything (city centre, place Massena, bus station, Promenade des Anglais). The single room with a large bed was spacious enough. There was a small balcony overlooking the street (no noise). I had everything I needed - a fridge, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, free wi-fi, a good-size bathroom and a shower, a hair dryer, even wine glasses and a corkscrew.

Found a stain on the bedsheet. During my 3-night stay it hasn't been changed.

Its walking distance from Promenade des Anglais. Staff is exceptionaly helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

No Parking facility though on the internet when we booked the hotel we were given the impression that it had parking. Parking in Nice is very expensive. Bathroom was clean but a bit old and run down.

this is the third time we have stayed at the hotel and i must say it is the best in every aspect.

Hotel was great and middle of city. Breakfast was super good. Walk to the beach 5 min. Staff was helpfull and nice.

Parking garage only for small cars under 1.80m. Parking at street cost only 4 euros if you find place.

Good location. Short walk from station and to promenade.

Aircon did not work but was attended to once reported. TV remote did not work despite reporting to reception several times.

Bathroom lighting was bad. Not enough outlets. Lack of counterspace. No bathroom hook.
