We loved this hotel - the renovation is gorgeous with plenty of space, a separate lounge area, beautiful bathroom and quality fittings. The location is in the middle of the Old town of Nice and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the markets as well as being surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants and historic lane ways and buildings. Perfect! Breakfast on the terrace was excellent value for money and a delightful way to start the day. The hotel is not manned much after lunch time but this did not represent any problem to us.

The only thing that detracted from our experience was the poor sleep at night due to the noise of holiday revellers in the early hours of the morning! We used ear plugs after the first night and this helped a lot. We would still stay here again but ask for one of the rooms at the back.

The staff are often not around so hard to organise things e.g. order taxis to the airport

    Style, location, service

Very loud, crowds in the evening, which is ok, bit combined with the very noisy trash collection from 5am that almost gives you no time to rest. Bed very narrow.

Centrally located. Modern building with well equipped room.

The breakfast was very plain and average for €9. More tourist information in reception.

Central, and with room at back of hotel, not noisy. Tasteful interiors and attractive terrace where you could have breakfast or just relax. We had a spacious double room over 2 levels with very nice bathroom.

No safe or fridge. Could have done with more places to hang towels, dresses etc. Horrible plastic sheet to protect mattress. Not a big choice for breakfast or offers of more coffee etc.

This is a fabulous hotel in a perfect location. It is such a surprise behind an unassuming door in the bustling old town location. Very classy for a bargain price.

    Not a single negative.

Right in the centre of the old town with it's winding streets. Decor unfussy, simple but stylish. Intend to go back.

Location can't get better than this. Right next to the church in the old town Rossetti square, the hotel offers cosy and design accommodation with modern bathroom and amazing view.

The location, design, room size, all these are very good for France and Nice particularly

Would have been nice to get more amenities in the bathroom. We were two people and we stayed for 3 nights. All this time we got only one tiny bottle of shower gel. On top of that the get just wouldn't come out of the bottle...

Very nice recent refurbishment and double glazing worked quite well in the very heart of activity.

Room 4 had horrendous noise overhead from another unrelated property. Spoke to Management who maintained no previous complaints - you would have to be very deaf or tolerant.

Everything! Perfect location in the old town. You could not get more central. The room was minimalistic, extremely relaxing, spotlessly clean. There was a beautiful patio where you could relax, enjoy the weather and take breakfast. We did not have any problems finding the hotel following the directions on the website. Though the reception is not covered for 24 hrs, there is always a staff member to help. Our room faced the busy street and though you can hear the hussle and bussle from outside, we slept well ( my partner is a very light sleeper who normally sleep with ear plugs).

    Nothing

Perfect location and in the center of old town. The room is quite stylish. Clean and comfortable.

The door of hotel is small and easy to miss.

As I've mentioned in the title the location was very good, about 5 minutes brisk walk from the beach and 10 minutes from Massena square. One member of the staff (a young lady) was very helpful.

It's actually not a purposely built hotel, just a house in the old part of town converted into rooms to let. The "reception" works from about 10 am to 8 pm with a member of staff being barely there. It's totally wheelchairs and prams unfriendly with all the stairs in corridors and rooms. The furniture is scarce and very basic.

Centrally located hotel, clean and at a reasonable price

Even though it was advertised that reception opens from 8am to 8pm, sometimes there was nobody on duty, just a telephone number to call. There are narrow filght of steps to climb to the rooms. Not suitable for people with heavy luggage. No handicapped facilities.

My heart sank when we found the tiny front door to this hotel- but the accomodation was spacious and very clean. Quiet rooms in the heart of the old town of Nice. We wre there for a conference and so it was fine but do not expect room service or reliable reception. Only 50 feet form a lovely square with lots of restaurants.

Whilst described as a 'boutique hotel' beware there are a lot of sttep steps to rooms which makes it unsuitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. No lift so difficult to struggle up stairs with cases. The top room is duplex but not suitable for tall people. Staff rather unusual and querky and do not stay on premises all the time so reception is more like a hostel.

Hotel employees were wonderful. Right in the middle of old town!! It's hard to find as the street the hotel is on, taxi can't drive on. The hotel sign is a little bigger than a deck of playing cards. The door is a country blue!!

Stylish, modern and contemporary accommodation. Relaxed and friendly.

Not much to dislike. A fridge in the room would have been nice. For someone with long clothes (dresses) a hanging space.

I would class this as a Boutique hotel. It is minimalist in decor and offers limited services, no bar, lounge or concierge. You can have breakfast, but you need none of these. You are in the best part of the old town. As you step onto the street you have a huge choice of bars, cafes and restaurants. Many lovely clothes and jewellery shops. There is limited access to vehicles so it is quiet at night and safe to walk in the streets. The rooms are very comfortable, lovely shower. Great receptionist Marek.

    Absolutely nothing.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just off the Place Rossetti and next to the lovely Cathedral and right in the middle of the old town, which is full of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel also has a lovely little terrace, they serve breakfast there.

Our room faced the front street and was very noisy on a night. The wardrobe space was a little limited but, having looked at reviews of other hotels, I think this is true of a lot of hotels in Nice.
