Amazing location . Smart tidy rooms . Modern interior
We had room at front. Noisy from street especially middle of the night
Good location for tourist attractions Small size of hotel, with helpful staff & a small courtyard garden.
Beautiful rooms, clean and luxurious. Right in the centre of the old town in a great old building. Big windows to look out onto the street. Loved it here, was sorry to have to leave!
Because it's so close to everything, there is some street noise, but it was very very worth it for me.
Location in old quarter, proximity to market, shops and restaurants, modern facilities, friendly, helpful staff, value for money.
Difficult to access by car/taxi, very noisy until early hours of morning.
Noisy street below my room late into the night
Location was great. Room was modern, clean and comfortable.
Staff not that friendly. Was a little noisy at night.
Large bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable communal terrace. Friendly (if elusive) receptionist.
No one was there to let us in - but we followed some other guests through the door (they had the access code) and found our key waiting on the reception desk.
We loved this hotel - the renovation is gorgeous with plenty of space, a separate lounge area, beautiful bathroom and quality fittings. The location is in the middle of the Old town of Nice and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the markets as well as being surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants and historic lane ways and buildings. Perfect! Breakfast on the terrace was excellent value for money and a delightful way to start the day. The hotel is not manned much after lunch time but this did not represent any problem to us.
The only thing that detracted from our experience was the poor sleep at night due to the noise of holiday revellers in the early hours of the morning! We used ear plugs after the first night and this helped a lot. We would still stay here again but ask for one of the rooms at the back.
Cool modern design Comfy beds High stud rooms Good shower
The staff are often not around so hard to organise things e.g. order taxis to the airport
Location was great. The check-in times were brilliant. The hotel and room and terrace was clean. The room and bathroom was big and airy. The hotel was difficult to find as it was only a door in the wall and the sign was tiny of what you expect from a hotel sign, but once inside it was great.
The noise from people going home at all times of the night was disturbing if the window was open. The AC work well to keep the room tempered. The re-supply of shower soap and shampoo was non-existent, but this could just have been a slip.
Very difficult to find - a clearer description of how to find would be very helpful!! after 1 and 1/2 hours of driving round and round to try to find it and at least 5 different people gave us directions we parked the car and went 'walkabout' to find it only to discover the 'door' that gives you entrance (NOTHING like the photo shown on the web!!!!) to discover that inside is a maze of stairs and rooms - not good if you Have any walking disabilities -which one of us did!! could not bring the cases from the car as would not be able to get them up the stairs!! so overall great position but not what we would choose to stay in again.
location was unbeatable, comfortable rooms, good value, spacious room and bathroom, great shower, no noise.
One small thing is that the reception closes at 8pm, and you need a code for the door. we didnt know this, so had to call the number on the door. not a big deal but maybe if you didnt speak french it could be an issue for you!
The hotel is very centrally located in the center of Old Town - which can be a good and a bad thing. Great restaurants and shops were steps away, but the nighttime noise was very high and we didn't sleep well. The room itself was comfortable and clean. Everything worked perfectly.
As mentioned, the noise level. You could also hear a lot of what was happening in adjacent rooms... The shower drain wasn't working and the bathroom floor got soaked. Unpleasant. Be aware that the "reception" desk isn't often open - another guest and I needed help and waited for almost an hour, and no one ever appeared (this despite the suggestion that the hotel staff is available from 8am - 8pm). The other guest called the emergency number and didn't get through. So don't expect this (fairly basic and expected) service at this hotel. It's more of a hostel situation.
Style, location, service
Very loud, crowds in the evening, which is ok, bit combined with the very noisy trash collection from 5am that almost gives you no time to rest. Bed very narrow.
Centrally located. Modern building with well equipped room.
The breakfast was very plain and average for €9. More tourist information in reception.
Central, and with room at back of hotel, not noisy. Tasteful interiors and attractive terrace where you could have breakfast or just relax. We had a spacious double room over 2 levels with very nice bathroom.
No safe or fridge. Could have done with more places to hang towels, dresses etc. Horrible plastic sheet to protect mattress. Not a big choice for breakfast or offers of more coffee etc.
This is a fabulous hotel in a perfect location. It is such a surprise behind an unassuming door in the bustling old town location. Very classy for a bargain price.
Not a single negative.
Right in the centre of the old town with it's winding streets. Decor unfussy, simple but stylish. Intend to go back.
Noise of other guests
new design clean
Location can't get better than this. Right next to the church in the old town Rossetti square, the hotel offers cosy and design accommodation with modern bathroom and amazing view.
The location, design, room size, all these are very good for France and Nice particularly
Would have been nice to get more amenities in the bathroom. We were two people and we stayed for 3 nights. All this time we got only one tiny bottle of shower gel. On top of that the get just wouldn't come out of the bottle...
Very nice recent refurbishment and double glazing worked quite well in the very heart of activity.
Room 4 had horrendous noise overhead from another unrelated property. Spoke to Management who maintained no previous complaints - you would have to be very deaf or tolerant.
Everything! Perfect location in the old town. You could not get more central. The room was minimalistic, extremely relaxing, spotlessly clean. There was a beautiful patio where you could relax, enjoy the weather and take breakfast. We did not have any problems finding the hotel following the directions on the website. Though the reception is not covered for 24 hrs, there is always a staff member to help. Our room faced the busy street and though you can hear the hussle and bussle from outside, we slept well ( my partner is a very light sleeper who normally sleep with ear plugs).
Perfect location and in the center of old town. The room is quite stylish. Clean and comfortable.
The door of hotel is small and easy to miss.
